Took my wife’s wedding ring and a necklace in to get appraisal updates for insurance. Tiffany was super helpful in getting me taken care of quickly as well as explaining why the process was needed. While there, I had the ring quick cleaned. Stu did a fantastic job on short order in making that diamond look like the day I picked it up. Have always had a good sales/post sales experience here.

I was having a hard time finding an Indian clothing store in Indianapolis and I am so happy to have found Indi Selection Boutique. The owner is very kind and extremely helpful. She not only finds you the outfit you need but knows just the pieces of jewelry and shoes to match your outfit. Having an understanding of how much Indian clothes and accessories cost in other places, I was pleased to find really good prices here. The owner was so kind to understand ,offered a discount as well. I appreciate her being so kind and patient. I am recommending this place to my friends!!

My daughter and I have gone to Sophia’s Southport for Junior and Senior prom. Both times my daughter has gone in with an idea and left with something that far surpassed expectations and we both leave smiling. The service here is phenomenal. It’s such a wonderful experience as a mom to see young girls helping my young girl find her style. I get to just sit back and watch and relax while Sophia’s team makes my daughter’s day. Highly recommend!

I personally have had a great experience. I was in there yesterday to get my dress and Izzy was the sweetest ever, she actually showed interest in not only helping me find the dress for me but in making me feel comfortable and actually keeping conversation and not walking away from me. I could not have had a better experience! Going to Sophia’s was the best choice I could have made. I felt welcomed and comfortable as soon as we stepped inside. I really had no idea what to expect and felt a bit overwhelmed by all of the beautiful dresses. Haley was absolutely amazing to work with! She starting asking questions, which immediately put me at ease. Her and my group of ladies had a good idea of what I was wanting, so they started pulling dresses. Haley was so accommodating to my group, which made the experience even better. But not only that, Haley was there, even though my appointment may have dragged out a bit. I didn’t feel rushed, which was huge, because I was afraid of picking the wrong dress, or worse yet, not finding one. But I found it, and I think we all cried. I would rate Sophia’s over and over again if I could! With it being a sample sale, the place was packed but it was such a positive environment from ALL of the staff and I felt very comfortable. Katie was my stylist yesterday and she was the absolute BEST! She was so friendly, went through the notes I had given for my appointment and did not disappoint when picking out dresses. I woke up glowing this morning knowing this was my first and only bridal shop and have the perfect dress for me. Now I have to wait 320 days to put on the dress and post a picture…I cannot wait! I am so happy my family was there to support me in making this decision, what a wonderful experience!

I cannot say enough great things about George Thomas Florist. Working with Mel was amazing, she was so kind, open to any ideas I had and made my vision come to life, BEAUTIFULLY! She was the only florist willing to make one of my ideas work and they made our room flip flawless. I can’t stop telling people about how beautiful our flowers were and how reasonably priced they were too! We would use them over and over again!!

My family has been a customer of George Thomas for years. We even trusted them to make arrangements for our daughter’s funeral last year. So ordering a bouquet from them for a family member in the hospital was a no brainer for us. They have never left us disappointed!

When we went to pick up the order, we were in a hurry and trying to get to the hospital. When we arrived to the hospital room and saw the arrangement we found ourselves disappointed to find that the bouquet looked nothing like what we had ordered.

My sister contacted them today to ask for them to make it right and at first it seemed like they were going to remake the flowers correctly. This was until the manager got involved and said that no one has ever complained about their flowers before when picking them up in person (I find this incredibly hard to believe) and refused to remake them.

They offered a discount on our next arrangement and I believe that would have sufficed had they not already offered to remake the flowers until the manager said “no” and then went on to be defensive and not sympathetic.

The main reason for this post is to highlight the poor response to our complaint and not necessarily the quality of the arrangement. Mistakes happen and we understand that. Their response was to blame us, be defensive, and to say they would no longer make us a new arrangement.

Update: Per their response below, they are making a new arrangement and and delivering it later today. We are grateful for their willingness to remake the arrangement. Your response is appreciated!

Every year on my birthday, my husband secures an order from George Thomas that is to include Birds of Paradise. They continue to knock it out of the park! This is the 6th year for a fabulous extra large arrangement! I swear that I have never seen such vibrant colors as the flowers that deliver from George Thomas Florist!

Absolutely phenomenal. I sent flowers to a friend who was having surgery. They delivered them quickly but the front office forgot to give them to my friend before she left. George Thomas located a florist closer to her and worked with them on making sure she received flowers no matter what. They didn’t have to do this as the error was absolutely not caused by them in any way. The extra measures meant so much to me and my friend was thrilled to still receive flowers while she’s recovering. Thank you so much for such fantastic service!

My wife and I cannot say enough positive things about George Thomas Florist! Our center pieces, and altar pieces for our wedding were beyond expectations. Mel was so helpful, and responsive to any and all questions we had. She took my wife’s vision, and made it a reality, and the flowers were quite affordable as well! The flowers delivered on time, very beautifully arranged and with an assortment of greenery and flowers, and have lasted a long time. Today is day 6 and they are still gorgeous.

I purchased a Milla Nova reception dress at Marie Gabriel last November. I had such a wonderful shopping experience! All of the associates were so lovely and made the shopping experience so enjoyable. Even though I was only in the market for a short, afterparty dress they had a great selection! I LOVE my dress – It made me feel so elegant yet fun and it was great to change into for the dancing part of the night. I do not live in Indy (I was visiting my sister there) so they were nice enough to ship my dress to me in Virginia.

My son bought a new watch with a chain link band. The clasp needed to be moved to fit his wrist. I contacted a couple of places to see if they could adjust it. Windsor replied back within minutes. They didn’t require an appointment. They said band adjustments are usually around $25. Maybe a little less depending on the clasp. My son stopped by after work. They saw him immediately and got it done in minutes for less than $25. I’m so impressed by the level of customer service, for such a small task. We both were treated with respect, got quick responses, and it was fixed professionally.

Jeremy and Julie were amazing! I walked in to kill time waiting for my partner and ended up talking with Jeremy about whiskey and bourbons. Not only did I buy a beautiful necklace that they helped me turn into a bracelet, I received some great whiskey recommendations from Jeremy! Julie took the time to help me extend the bracelet length with an extra chain and cut off the designer branded tag.

Super friendly, super efficient! I dropped my ring off to be resized around 11a and it was done the same day! Jeremy was so pleasant to work with. Donte was amazing! From the moment I walked into the door, I was greeted with smiles. I went in there, looking at spending a lot on a few different repairs Thanking it would take a few days to get my stuff repaired when Dante took my chain and bracelet to the jeweler and he repaired it in less than 10 minutes. If you’re in the downtown area or better yet, it’s worth coming to the downtown area for their service. They definitely have a new customer for life

I stopped in today on my lunch break, hoping to drop my necklace off to be resized. Everyone there went above and beyond with their customer service and after a quick consultation they got started on my piece. It was done and I was out the door within 20 minutes. I will definitely keep this jeweler in mind for all future purchases.

None of the CDs have CDs in them… They are all empty… will never come back. I advise the same for all CD lovers. Also wouldn’t be shocked if it was a worker. The pictures don’t even cover just how many were missing.

It’s been years since I have visited one of these stores. I was surprised at the price of most of their books pretty expensive since they don’t pay much when they buy them from customers.

The staff has changed a bit. I felt they no longer value customer service. I tried to ask a simple question and was told to go upfront. I felt I was putting them out.

Maybe I caught them on a bad day but I left feeling like I’m not missing much if I don’t shop here. I feel a 3️⃣ ⭐️ review is fair.

Decent collection of books and items. Prices dont seem unreasonable. Aisles are a little skinny but alternative would probably be fewer books out.

Efficient for selling books (but don’t plan on making big bucks) and their front-facing titles are changed regularly. I like to open my library and/or Goodreads TBR list while there to find new things to read. The people are always helpful when you go ask them a question. I suggest visiting for no less than ½ an hour or plan for an hour to sell & peruse the shelves. There’s truly something for everyone.

This is a cool bookstore. A ton of good books that are img great condition, as well as other second items like CDs, DVDs, Funko Pops, games, and more.

Prices are super good and the staff is friendly.

Amanda was very helpful to my husband today talking about his new freshwater 20 gallon tank! We are doing a fishless cycle right now and eventually will get fish from here. We are excited and he’s visited maybe multiple times a day since buying his tank. We are so grateful that this store is 2 minutes from our house and that he can get all of the expert help he needs!

I have been in multiple times just to look around and today I decided to finally buy something. They always have a beautiful assortment of plants for nice prices so I picked up a marble queen pothos, as well as a betta (he is BEAUTIFUL) He is so active and you can tell he was loved and cared for. (they even name their bettas which I think is adorable) I always have a great experience when I come in!

The staff at The Reef are outstanding, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They were even happy to help with questions/suggestions over the phone and responded to inquiries on social media. The store has a massive selection of freshwater and saltwater fish and the accessories, food, treatments etc that you will need. All of the tanks are very clean and the animals seem very healthy. Ownership cares about customer service and provided support within 24 hours. Looking forward to doing continued business with a long-standing local company.

Easily the best, most knowledgeable, and cleanest aquarium store in Indianapolis. The selection is unmatched. Literally. In both aquatic plants and fish alike. If there’s a fish you can’t find anywhere else, or a plant odds are they sell it here for a very reasonable price. The employees are very happy to see repeat customers here too which is very nice! I’ve never had a bad interaction with any of the employees. I live 30+ minutes away and consistently come back here. They are easily the best fish store in Indianapolis.

I truly wouldn’t recommend coming to this establishment just based off of how the employees treat their customers. This store is about an hour from home, and I wanted to check it out while we were in town. Great selection and staff asked us many times if we needed help. Picked up some water lettuce. Looking forward to coming back for some fishy friends and shrimp after I get my tank fully cycled. Store was clean and had a great selection of fish and plants.
