My son bought a new watch with a chain link band. The clasp needed to be moved to fit his wrist. I contacted a couple of places to see if they could adjust it. Windsor replied back within minutes. They didn’t require an appointment. They said band adjustments are usually around $25. Maybe a little less depending on the clasp. My son stopped by after work. They saw him immediately and got it done in minutes for less than $25. I’m so impressed by the level of customer service, for such a small task. We both were treated with respect, got quick responses, and it was fixed professionally.

Jeremy and Julie were amazing! I walked in to kill time waiting for my partner and ended up talking with Jeremy about whiskey and bourbons. Not only did I buy a beautiful necklace that they helped me turn into a bracelet, I received some great whiskey recommendations from Jeremy! Julie took the time to help me extend the bracelet length with an extra chain and cut off the designer branded tag.

Shane co reached out over email a few days ago or yesterday, and we talked on the phone today. It seems there was a little miscommunication or a misunderstanding that I was anxious or I suppose most people would not be willing to wait months for their ring back so that’s why I felt a little rushed in making my decision-they likely assumed I wanted it back faster. Which I would if possible but mostly I just want a good match found and am 100% okay if that takes some time, even several months.
I feel a LOT better having that cleared up and my confidence is restored that they will find a great match and do a fantastic job. I will be updating once the repair is complete with pictures.

My ruby was chipped a few months ago on my engagement ring. Per the warranty it is being replaced.
However.
I’m beginning to feel jerked around and I’m getting angry.
I know the quality of my ruby. It’s nearly a pigeon blood ruby, I attached a picture. I know how to tell the quality of a ruby. The ruby I loved that was recently chipped is actually a replacement since Shane Co chipped the original one my husband selected and left melted gold on my ring when giving it back after work years ago.
I was pretty upset but they did go above and beyond to make it right. The ruby we ended up with was even better quality.
Now today? I’m disappointed. I was called to come “check out a ruby”. While it was being walked out of the back I was already upset. It was dusty pink and I could see inflections in it from ACROSS the room. I attached an image of one similar but honestly I can’t find one as grainy and hazy pink as the one I was shown. Did anyone even set eyeballs on my original ruby? Because there is no way that “replacement” was considered “acceptable” if anyone had actually looked at the stone and not stats.
My current ruby is nearly a textbook perfect ruby in color, saturation, clarity and the only one inflection that’s visible if you squint and know where to look. It’s an A-/B+ ruby if you’re giving letter grades. I suspect I maybe shouldn’t have been offered because it was so much nicer quality than the original my husband selected but it’s done now.
The one they brought out was honestly just offensive. For the reasons stated above- I don’t think anyone looked. So I have no confidence that a match is being tried for after that experience.
Now I’m being told that they can’t find a close enough match, (after being very specific because I felt like either I was not being taken seriously or the people doing the selecting didn’t even care to look at my actual ring), I’m now being told a match isn’t being found. It’s only been like 6-8 weeks guys.
So it was suggested to go from a .64 to around a .55 stone to cut out the chip and keep the ruby. But that’s likely going to dramatically change how the stone sits in the ring and thicken the metal around bezel set ruby which is going to just look awful. Maybe change the color too unsure- but this isn’t acceptable. (Tbf I haven’t responded to the store yet on this suggestion but I will).
I don’t feel like my ring is being taken seriously because it’s “just a warranty”. Yes I have a very good ruby in my ring but it’s less than a full carat. It can’t be that hard to find a good match. After all the great work through this company this feels really bad.
Here’s hoping Shane co makes this right like they did when they damaged my OG ring and gave it back 9 years ago.
It doesn’t have to get done fast but it needs to be done right. And I need to be taken seriously even if we have already paid the ring off. And as of right now I don’t believe people are even trying based on the experience I’ve had so far. Quite disappointed.

A lot of the people who work here are AWESOME. I just dislike that there is not enough seating and any time we go in for cleanings or problems that it takes forever to deal with. I think some streamlining services needs to happen for this company. A dedicated drop off line vs sales staff. They’re your “friend in the diamond business” but if my friends had no couch space for me and took as long as they do to grab me a beer from the fridge- I would be pissed.

My wedding ring set was purchased from this store in 2011. My experience with this store has been an utter nightmare that started nine months ago when an apprentice ruined my ring during a simple repair.
To make a very, VERY long story short, the set has been recast twice now (each time this is done it takes three months because it goes to God knows where to a vendor) and it is still not correct.
To make matters worse, the sales manager and the store manager who have been apprised of the situation from the beginning have both left the store. They were my two points of contact through this whole ordeal.
I beg you – please, PLEASE avoid this chain and find a local jeweler instead.

I visited Twin Jewelry repair to have a bracelet and necklace repaired The staff were very helpful in assisting me to find the location, even coming out of the store and walking around the parking lot to assist me with finding the store (thanks Pooh!)! Customer service was excellent, although I was disappointed my jewelry was repaired a week longer than originally promised. Repair work was thorough and necklace and bracelet were professionally polished! Price could have been a bit cheaper. Customer Service was adequate and there was plenty of parking. I will visit this location again in the future.

Absolute seamless experience working with Barrington for my engagement ring! My fiancé and I specifically worked with Mitra who is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. She found options for the ideas we had and ordered multiple items to the store to try out before we made final decisions, which was so helpful! Petite G made an amazing ring out of my random jewelry that was just sitting in my jewelry box never to be worn by me again. The great idea of repurposing old jewelry, came when Petite G designed and crafted beautiful new pieces of jewelry for my daughter’s mother-in-law. I was sold when I saw her new jewelry and met Petite G’s amazing jeweler Sharon, who designs and makes everything in house. My ring was made from stone pulled from other pieces of jewelry, drawn and designed around the stones with my vision and interpreted by Sharon’s very creative and talented mind who draws from many years of experience.

Went in with another for them to get molded for 5 karat gold grills, $400+. 8 top, 8 bottom. just to find out they’re 83% copper and have NO registrable amounts of gold in them, tested at two separate buy/sell jewelers, and a pawn shop. Not to mention when we picked them up and they were removing them from the mold, they had GLUED them onto the mold, and used a screwdriver to pry them off, bending the back sections that align with your gums, behind the teeth. Was told to come in tomorrow and will be following up with the store and management itself and will be contacting an attorney to see what to do about being defrauded. Do NOT go here. They have caused sores, and tarnishing within 24 hours of inconsistent wearing. This will not be let go.

My fiance and I bought our wedding bands here. I picked them up, and a few days later they called us to say they gave me another woman’s ring and to bring it back asap! This was very upsetting and really took away from my experience of getting our bands together. We also do not live close to the store and are getting married in a few weeks and do not have time to trapeze around town due to someone else’s mistake. I had one of the most frustrating retail experiences of my life at Jared Jewelers, thanks largely to Assistant General Manager Thomas Gudat and his ill-informed staff. I walked into the store ready to spend real money—I wasn’t browsing, I wasn’t window shopping, I was a serious customer. Unfortunately, the service I received was anything but serious.
To begin with, I was given false information not once, but twice by staff members who clearly lacked either proper training or basic communication skills. Expecting a simple fix—I was met with complete indifference. Instead of owning the mistake or offering any form of solution, Thomas Gudat, the assistant general manager, made it clear that my presence was the inconvenience. Apparently, walking into the store at 6:15 PM—well before closing—was just too much for him to handle.
Rather than assisting a paying customer, he seemed more concerned with clocking out than addressing the misinformation his team provided. His attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly, insulting. It’s one thing to deal with an undertrained staff—it happens—but it’s another thing entirely when leadership sets the tone for poor service and doesn’t even pretend to care.
Needless to say, I won’t be spending a dime at this location—or any Jared store—after this experience. I took my business elsewhere, where I was treated with the respect and professionalism any customer deserves. If you value your time, money, or sanity, I suggest you do the same. There are plenty of jewelers out there who know how to treat customers right. This team, sadly, isn’t one of them.
