Was looking for a car for a good couple months. Finally found one I like but it was a couple hours away. Took the chance and made the drive. Turns out I didn’t really like the first car. But Kaleb at Indy Auto Man had another one in stock that he thought would be better. And he was right. The car was perfect. Low miles and in beautiful shape. I knew it was the one. I sat down with Kaleb to go over some numbers and it was a little more expensive than I wanted to pay. So I went home to sleep on it. The best day Kaleb called me and worked out a better offer and it was a significant discount. But still wasn’t where I was comfortable paying. So he calls me again a little later and tells me he got the price EVEN lower. It was now to a number I felt comfortable with. I drove back down the next day to do the paper work and pickup the car. I was in an out driving my new car in 30 mins. I highly recommend anyone searching for a car to ask for Kaleb at Indy Auto Man. He was nice, helpful, and cut right to the chase. Never haggled me or tried to upsell me and even waived some extra fees for me. This was my first time financing a car and my experience working with him was 10/10. My wife and I are grateful to BGI Fitness for providing excellent service recently in relation to a stationary cycle malfunction. (We had purchased the five-year-old cycle from an online vendor – not BGI Fitness; we sought BGI's assistance, remembering our previous good experience, when they resolved a treadmill walking belt/deck problem for us.) I submitted an assistance request/inquiry by means of the form in the Fitness Equipment Services section of the BGI website. Preston responded promptly by phone, helping me to understand the likely cause of the cycle problem, advising me how I could save money obtaining the part that needed to be replaced, and scheduling an appointment for a home visit by a technician. On the appointment day, Phil called me to confirm his expected arrival time and, upon arriving, worked skillfully and efficiently. He was personable and kind, explaining to my wife and me what he had done and even taking time to resolve an unrelated problem that he had noticed while replacing the part that had malfunctioned. We were delighted, and we recommend BGI's Fitness Equipment Services to others enthusiastically.

There was a great selection of bikes, from budget options to expert – all of great quality! Sam kindly answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about products. I liked that I was able to test ride a couple bikes before making a decision, and that I could put in a special order with the store easily if needed. Excellent local bike shop. First they have tons of bikes on hand for sale that lets you try them out before purchasing. That, and everything on hand for bike maintenance. Second, they have every accessory you'll need for your cycling adventures. But mostly, they have an excellent shop that is fast and friendly.

Great bikes. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. BGI is so easy to work with. I live an hour away, so I was able to buy my bike over the phone during their tent sale. They held it over the weekend until I could drive down to pick it up. I test rode it, got all my questions answered, and I was on my way. Great experience all around!

I've been looking at getting a nice full suspension mountain bike for a while. My local bike store did not have much inventory at all, and nothing close to what I was looking for. So went to check this bike store out. They had a very large store with a lot of inventory to choose from. I found several mountain bikes that were nice. They let me take one out for a quick test ride, and absolutely fell in love with this electric full suspension mountain bike. I definitely plan on going back to find a bike for my little girl, as soon as she outgrows the one she's on. I would recommend anyone in central indiana stop in at this bike store before making a purchase somewhere else.

Nathan, our driver, was amazing!! He was professional, friendly and personable. He made sure we didn’t wet during the rain by getting close to the buildings’ entrances. He made everyone feel comfortable. We loved our coach bus. It was some of our guests first time on a coach bus and they were so impressed.

We rented a limo coach for a birthday party. Customer service here is top notch! The Avant Garde team is great at communicating to plan the route and Jill was a great driver. This was a 10/10 experience and I would not hesitate to do it again!

C1 is an awesome school. They do a great job preparing you to be successful at obtaining your CDL A or B. I would highly recommend using this school to get yours. I passed the test first try after having little confidence. The instructors give you all the tools you’ll need to pass. Well worth the money!!!

C1 basically just left me to dry, all just because I asked to reschedule my drug screening and I chose to handle my housing situation. I just wasted my time and energy on this program and I don’t recommend this academy to any future trucking students because they don’t care about anyone’s situations. They only care about themselves and their image

i graduated from c1 indianapolis in august 2009. 16 years later im still driving a semi everyday. i learned what i needed to pass my cdl tests and passed my written and driving tests the first try. dont expect to be a super trucker that knows everything when you leave here. you will learn what is needed to get you started in trucking. when you go to your first job they should have you with a trainer that will teach you the ins and outs of day to day trucking. c1 was time well spent for me to get started with my new career in trucking.

I had a great experience here at c1, they got my cdl very quick and made me understand what I needed to do to become a successful driver. C1 will help you with your air brake test, pre trip, as well as other skills they aren't needed for the state exam but could be actually helpful in the real world

I had a good time with them, they were patient with me, I learned so much and I got my red hat I passed on the first round!

Just completed my class A test today. I let the recruiter know to sign me up for manual. I went through 3 weeks thinking I was going to test in a manual. I got into the truck to do my first road drive and I let the instructor know that I was supposed to be in a manual truck. He said I was signed up for automatic on his paperwork and that it was too late to switch. I talked with the director about this and was told I either had to stay here for multiple weeks to complete my CDL in a manual or I could come back later and pay for a course there to get my manual. He failed to tell me I did not have to complete any course through a school to switch over to manual after obtaining my automatic restricted CDL, I learned I just needed to re test with the state to obtain the manual CDL. They are money hungry and very unorganized at C1. Somehow they screwed up my paper work and I was the one paying the consequences. I would absolutely not recommend C1 to anyone thinking about obtaining there CDL.

I just graduated from the Indianapolis location and let me start this by saying, Overall my experience was overwhelmingly positive. I was on the fence about choosing this school due to some of the negative reviews on here but I'm certainly glad I went ahead and completed my courses and state test through C1 Trucking. As far as the negative reviews state, I'm not sure what any of them are talking about being forced to write good reviews or being rushed through the whole process. At the end of your graduation you have the opportunity to write instructor reviews and give your opinions about what could be done better at the school. In no way shape or form are you pressured to write positive things. Although, I will say I had nothing negative to say to begin with. My take away from the bad reviews is people who either did not graduate or failed to learn in the appropriate amount of time needed to graduate on time. However, I did have a few complaints but nothing major.; I had the opportunity to choose between the Hotel Lodging and driving up there everyday. I ultimately chose just to drive up there everyday because the hotel did look and feel very sketchy and it is in a very high traffic area. Another issue is class size, Your amount of time allocated to inside a truck practicing is highly dependent on how big your class size is. One thing I suggested was limiting class sizes to four to five individuals a week to ensure a lot of time is utilized in the truck for each individual. In their defense though, I did start at a time when one of their senior instructors was retiring and they were in the process of hiring a new instructor. So we were short one instructor essentially. But I think limiting class sizes has its benefits still. Ed, Jenny, Vick, Jeff, Delle are all excellent field instructors and deserve more recognition for being so helpful. I know how monotonous and stressful it is being a trainer and they handle it well coming in everyday and still manage to interact positively with everyone of us and help us every step of the way. If you want my honest opinion, I say choose C1 for your choice of school. The first day is a little over whelming because everyone is trying to get situated and enrolled and get all the paperwork done. However, After that first day it instantly started to feel so much more welcoming and an environment solely focused on getting you prepared to pass your CDL exam. I have made some good friends along the way of my graduation and met some great people here. I would suggest this school to my family, friends and anyone looking to start their adventure into truck driving. Thank-you C1 and all the instructors who went above and beyond to help us when we needed it.

Was skeptical when my buddy told me he booked this for his birthday, the whole concept just seemed kind of odd and not what we usually went out to do. We're more of a bar hopping, top golf, concert kind of group. I could not have been more wrong!!! This was an awesome experience, our driver, Grant, was super awesome. You could tell he enjoyed doing what he does and created a great atmosphere from the second we showed up. We were able to play our own music, Grant gave us a drinking game to play throughout the ride, and made a few stops at a couple of bars he recommended. Could not have been more happy with the experience, all of our group kept mentioning how much fun it was and we really enjoyed ourselves. It was a great time especially thanks to our driver, he sealed the deal. Super down to earth, did his job amazingly well, and made us feel right at home!! Met who was either the owner operator or manager when we got back and he was just as great of a guy from the short chat we had. Thank you Grant and the others at pickle for the most fun we've had in quite a while without a doubt 10/10 would recommend and we will hopefully be back in the near future. Fun experience, but extremely overpriced. Paying $450 felt excessive for what you get… the overall value felt closer to $100. You can find cheaper bar bike options that offer the same experience. It’s also BYOB, and you regularly get off the bike to stop at bars along the route. Honestly, you’d get a very similar experience by walking or driving around downtown with friends, playing music on a Bluetooth speaker, and hopping between bars. That said, the driver was great and made the ride enjoyable. Just wanted to be transparent… there are much cheaper ways to have the same kind of fun.

I am beyond happy that I stopped in at Gray Goat Bicycle Co. on Southport rd. This homeless man in my neighborhood had his bicycle stolen along with his backpack of his belongings. I explained this to Michael at the shop and he said to come on in. He had a bike they were using for parts and fixed it up and let me purchase it for what it took to get it running! There was another kind hearted man who overheard the story and went half with me!! I highly recommend and wish more people had hearts like these men!! Check him out! We made his year!

I love this shop! I’ve had my awesome gravel bike for about 5 years, and all upgrades and repairs have been done through this shop. The staff are great help and give many options regardless of your budget.

Austin was super friendly and helped get me set up with a trial bike, even attempted to hook my 5 yr old up (too short, maybe next time)! Didn't hover, let us explore the parking lot on our own. Ended up purchasing said bike! Not pushy at all for the sale even as close to closing as we did.

Went to them for my tire to be aired up as well. They over aired up the tire and the tire blew up. I called BGI OF Indy who replaced my tire and fixed the lining all for $20 where as Gray Goat representative could not air my tire up in one day I had to leave it over night. When I tried to ride the bike after 3 peddles the tire blew out. They charged me $21.09 to PUT AIR IN A TIRE THAT THEY AIRED UP INCORRECTLY AND CAUSED IT TO BLOW OUT. I will NEVER RECOMMEND YOU ALL.
