I took my Ford Escape to the dealer for the check engine light. They gave me a quote of $2500 to correct the problem. I wasn’t having any problems driving the car was only responding to the alert. So I decided to get a 2nd opinion. Malless was able to get me in within 48 hours, their diagnosis was different and vastly less expensive.
I was impressed with how someone always answers the phone (not an automated message and menu of what extension to press). My car was done quickly with great communication and follow up. I highly recommend them!

After having one issue repaired at Firestone and then was told we had a bigger issue with water pump and timing change and needed to take to the dealer. Made an appointment for the following week to get a suspension squeak looked at driving me nuts. Dropped it off at 8:30am. Figured they’d get to it the following day since there were several vehicles being worked on currently. 3 hrs late got a call with the cause. Ball joints shot. They quoted me a price lower than I prepared for. I have gave the go ahead. Again, I expected it to be done in a couple days which was fine. At 4:00pm I get a call saying it’s done! Amazing. This truck repair was the stuff of nightmares but Mike and his team came through. 7-weeks, multiple calls and emails to an obstinate warranty company, and one ridiculously busted Ecoboost F150 (don’t ever buy an Ecoboost!!)
The whole process of getting this truck repaired was rough. There were delays I didn’t think should have been delays and questions about costs, but I have to hand it to this shop: when everything washed out at the end, I felt like they genuinely had my back and wanted to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I’m sure they’ll do the same for anyone else who takes their vehicle to them.

Hands down the most reliable, trustworthy, upfront, nicest, people I ran into. Great service at a reasonable cost. The customer service personal at the front desk are polite,
Listen, and attend to your auto concerns. We moved from Michigan two years ago and this is the first establishment that took care of concerns in a timely manner with a Smile. As long as we live here this will be our car home. From oil changes, routine maintenance etc. this is where you should come! Service completed usually within 1 day, or a couple hours.
Lastly, I have a 2012 Audi and they handle foreign vehicles great and my Audi baby is in tip top condition!

Terrible Experience.
Dropped my car off due to an oil leak on a Monday and did not get a diagnosis call until Thursday which they stated the leak was due to a valve gasket and gave me the price and stated it would be completed by the next day. I called Friday evening after not hearing anything and call did not go through for whatever reason. Called again Saturday and was told it would be done Monday morning. The amount of time they take to complete anything is ridiculous for starters. Around 10am Monday they called to say it was completed and I picked up the vehicle close to closing time. By Thursday vehicle was leaking again but I wanted to keep an eye on it because I thought it could have been from AC being used. However leak continued so I dropped it off Monday morning and was then told my oil pan was wet and I asked why that wasn’t found when my car was at the shop for a full week and was told “there is more leaks but we work on the bigger leak first” however when I picked up I confirmed what they told me(also what was on my invoice) was all that needed to be fixed and was told yes therefore I paid the amount due. After speaking to the owner Chris he stated the air intake tube is also wet with oil. He then told my dad that it was my turbo tube(that I don’t believe I even have) and that I need to get a second opinion basically because they don’t know what they are doing. I will NEVER bring any vehicle of mine to Trinity Brothers or suggest anyone bring theirs. They are unprofessional- while speaking with my dad he was constantly called “bro.” They do not care about anyone’s time. They seem unknowledgeable. Do not recommend.
Before any sassy response is left in rebuttal to my honest review…after admitting a wrong diagnosis they stated they would refund me ” but the valve gasket did still need to be replaced but that wasnt the main issue, the least I could do was pay for the parts which were 50 sum dollars.” But still was trying to keep $75 of the refund. That did not sit well with me because now I need to pay another shop to do what could not do. I ended up paying 67 for a diagnosis that was wrong. They were my second mechanic and the original mechanic confirmed the valve gasket had no issue when they checked the car. Basically my take away was Trinity Brothers just picked something to “fix” to get paid.
If you want quality work and your time not wasted please find another shop

Brought my truck in with a small fuel leak after a buddy messed up the fuel filter and slightly stripped the line. I told them everything twice and even said it felt like a fuel pump or injector issue. They kept it for a week, claimed it was fixed. I turn the key, gas pours out. They fixed the filter and line, but ignored the fact that I said it stalled before that, so they blamed the timing belt, but my truck doesn’t have a timing belt, it’s a chain. That’s how I know they weren’t checking their work.
They never listened, never inspected anything, just threw guesses and ignored facts. My mom sent it back they still didn’t bother. Just “timing belt” on repeat like clowns.
Took it to Midas a block away. Fuel pump. Fixed. 48 hours. $770. Done.
These people wasted a month of my life and left my truck messed up. Lazy, unskilled, and straight-up dangerous.
Don’t walk, run. And if you already dropped your car off, go get it back before they kill it.

I thought they was cool I get to my car to pick it up n my shyt was ransacked. Everything taken out of my glove box, everything taken out of my center console, shyt all on the floor, I had two lighters in my car those are gone now, took a bunch a change out of the center console and I sent my shyt up there wit everything put up. Took my car in for brakes, rotors and belt replacement. Called to schedule the repair and was told to drop it off and the would get to it. I dropped it off Tuesday Night, the car was not moved until late Weds. afternoon after I called numerous times. I was give a quote for the repairs and I agreed to the service. I was called the next day to advise that they couldn’t get the lug nuts off of one of the tires but would do what they can. My father was a mechanic most of his life so I understood sometime that happens. After finally having the car for 3 days I picked it up only to be handed a bill that was more than $100 more than what I was quoted. At NO POINT did anyone advice me that the services would be more. (Like every other mechanic I’ve ever used). I was told the additional charge was because it took more work than expected to get the lug nuts off one of the tires. The billing stated did not list my original estimate (I guess they didn’t want proof of the jack ip in price). I am not a fan of businesses using “Christianity” as a marketing tool only to turn around and do some questionable invoicing. I had used their services when they were at their old location for my daughters car and I’ve even referred others to them. In 3 of the 4 people that went to them a similar price hustle occurred. I have no problem paying for services. Even ones that were already high before the gouging. I like to support local businesses. But not local businesses that have questionable practices. FUN update: the next morning I awoke to a completely flat tire and upon further inspection saw quite a bit of damage to my alloy rims. I had to pay $125 for a tow, $75 for a used replacement tire. And now must order a replacement rim at a cost of $267

Kathy and her team have been wonderful to work with!! I went in at the beginning of April for a diagnostic after being given a laundry list of things supposedly needing done by my dealership, and half of them didn’t need doing after all!
Now ~2 weeks after having the repairs done that *were* needed, my car is running beautifully. I scheduled my repairs for nearer the start of the day, and everything was complete by the early afternoon the same day I took it in. At Downtown Car Care I know that I can trust them to keep my car running well without charging for unnecessary services. Just had a servicing done for a 2000 mile road trip that I’m taking. Specifically asked them to check all hoses and belts as well as tire tread and to complete any necessary work to make sure I won’t have issues on the trip. I have visited Downtown Car Care Center twice and both times I’ve left extremely happy. I’m a student in Indy so the location is very convenient. Recently, I got an oil change for an excellent price, cheaper than the previous place I went to. I really enjoy Kathy, she is very friendly and took it upon herself to teach me how to check my oil level. I made a request for an appointment online and they approved it in less than 12 hours. I was able to get my car in for my oil change asap and it was done within a few hours. Last time, I had a more emergent issue with my car so I called and was able to get in AND FIXED within the same day. These guys are just a rip off. Did a great job. I had my car code diagnosed from an auto part store, took it in with me and they were able to pinpoint about where the problem was and did their own analysis. They sent me their findings along with a complete walk around of the car and I could approve what I wanted done. They did the approved work and were very straightforward and polite. My wife and I take our Audi TTRS coupes to Autohaus for regular service, repairs and frequent inspections prior to our track weekends. Scott and his team could not be more professional or thorough in the way they treat our cars. They’re always dutiful in communication, quoting and timeliness. We have to drive nearly 50 minutes in one direction to get to them but based on the experiences we’ve had in the last few years, we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We continue to be very pleased with the service team at Autohaus Merkle. We began using the Autohaus Merkle team in 2023 for our 2009 VW TDI Sportswagen and 2013 VW CC. The service is informative and costs are transparent, overall price is reasonable and the team is courteous and obviously very skilled. Brought my 2015 Audi Q5 in for engine mount replacement and it only took 5 hours. They were super professional and efficient. I am very impressed with how My Car Doc does business. They are fair, professional and do great work. My son’s truck had serious issues that made it dangerous for him to drive. They found all the issues, provided photos of everything and gave me a full diagnostic report. The report is so detailed and lists things needing immediate repair, things that can wait (oil change, etc) and things that are running as they should. The turn around time is so quick. They even sent a thank you card. All my family and friends now take their vehicles to My Car Doc.

We had a problem with our rear differential and My Car Doc took an amazing care of our car! John is extremely nice and engaged with my 15 month old son while explaining to me the process of repair.
He also answers emails SUPER fast and the entire time showed me they knew what they were doing and made me feel comfortable about it.

I recently had some issues with my brakes and was getting the runaround at Jiffy Lube so decided to try My Car Doc based on some recommendations. It was really easy to schedule an appt. I did have to call after having trouble with the online system but they were receptive when I flagged the issue!
The staff were very friendly and transparent throughout the whole process. It was my first time in so they did an inspection of the whole car to make sure they caught everything. They give you a report that includes pictures and notes as well as short videos to help you learn about your car if you don’t know about certain parts. Everything was categorized by how urgent a potential repair was but you still have the flexibility to choose exactly what you want them to fix before they do any work!
I even had a little goodie bag waiting for me when I picked up my car. Will definitely be going back!

Had an appt for them to check out my brakes and suspension and within an hour of their having opened (I’d done overnight drop off), they’d called and advised what was necessary versus what could be postponed along with a really good recommendation of how long each of those things could wait. I got a quote for the things they were going to do that was extremely reasonable, and when I came in to pick up the car and pay only a few hours later, it was actually over $100 (maybe closer to $200) less than even the quoted amount, so to say I’m happy with them is an understatement. On top of that, the service advisor was super friendly. I’d been nervous to take my car in bc I’d never gone to them before but also haven’t really gone anywhere in Indianapolis for significant repairs since moving here, but am wicked glad I went to Ty’s.

Ty is Indy’s Scotty Kilmer, the famous You Tube Old School mechanic. Been going to see Ty for 15 years after finding him on Angie’s List back in the day when you could trust the list before the company was purchased by unscrupulous Home Advisor. Ty won the prestigious Super Service Award every year! I love taking my car to Ty. He never ever sells you things you don’t need because he has plenty of business and is not corporate chain with sales goals. Every visit is top notch professional and stress free with gentle prices. Today my 2010 Toyota Avalon (I call her “Cream Puff”) got new rotors, tire rotation, full synthetic oil change, bulb replacement, cabin filter and thorough car inspection. The bill wasn’t high and came to under $600 and only took 1.5 hours. The wait room is big and spacious, nice customers to chat with and family feel to the very clean shop. There’s even an office cubicle if you want to work while you wait. All of his mechanics are kind and professional and VERY knowledgeable. He takes all the stress away and knows his stuff.

Took my car in for a check engine light issue. Within an hour they were calling me to let me know what was going on, and I was able to pick my car up an hour or two after that. They explained everything with transparency, and did not try to make me pay any more than necessary.
The last place I took my car for a check engine light issue, I was required to keep my car there up to 3 days and had to pay for a rental out of pocket, and then found out they didn’t look at my car until end of day the second day they had it, and I was the one who kept calling them to ask for updates.
So I was incredibly appreciative of Ty’s speedy, reliable, and affordable service. Will definitely be using them in the future and can’t recommend them enough!

Ty’s has done so much for me and my Jeep Liberty. About a month ago came in for new shocks and struts and my ride feels much smoother especially on those front struts. Now I am back with a whole new set of problems that I needed looked at. They were able to fix this awful burning smell coming from the engine area and they fixed my braking and my ride has never felt smoother until now. Turns out my front rotors were warped and they were very honest telling me that my pads still had plenty of life left and I feel like any other shop would try to upsell me and say I need new pads and everything but not Ty’s. Ty’s has always been very honest. I also had a heater problem and they put so much time and effort working on that and you can tell the level of commitment that this place has to your vehicle every time you bring it in. You can tell that they are not so much worried about just getting cars off the lot as much as they are about actually fixing the problem and doing the job right and I appreciate that so much. I want to personally thank the technician Paul he worked so diligently and put so much time and effort into the Jeep Liberty and I’m looking at old repair orders and I see that he is assigned my vehicle a lot of the time and I can’t thank him enough and express my gratitude and that also goes out to Ty himself and all of the other technicians that have helped me with my car. Actually a few months back was having trouble with my battery so I swung into Ty’s and I didn’t even have an appointment but they stopped what they were doing and diagnosed I had a leaking battery put in a new battery and sent me on my way. Can I give these guys 10 stars for going the extra mile for me? This is by far the best auto work I have ever received. They not only fixed what I came in for, but also they cleaned my battery terminals, greased them, cleaned my engine cover, and secured my muffler.
They chose quality parts for replacement and kept the price reasonable.
They even gave me time to do my own research so I could come to the most practical conclusion, which was the one they gave me.
If that doesn’t demonstrate aptitude and quality of service I don’t know what does.

Attention everyone!!!!! we have been going here for many many years. My dad has always been in great, standing with the owner ! Never had any trouble with our vehicles they always fixed in a short time and with perfection. It saddens me to say that we trusted his son thinking that we would get the same respect and outcome as always before but this time my dad took his car and an had dropped off. We paid over $500 for services we got our car home to find it smoking after filling it back up with gas so I called and had the car dropped back off. if they ran it an tested it Within 15min they would of seen so I gave it a week when he never called. I finally got a hold of somebody and told them we were trying to come get the car. AAA got there and there was no car now!!. Remind you when I talk to the man he said OK thanks for letting me know they’re coming! they went behind my dad’s back. Without signing any paperwork or having any approval and junked, his car did not offer him the junk money even. but that’s besides the point. the point is how are you allowed to junk somebody’s car that you were supposed to be working on how can you do this to your father’s customers you took his business over and this is how you treat his customers this is not fair. My father is elderly, and that was the only car he had and this man just took it out from him! he has no regard or care in the world to how this affected my family. He did not call. He did not ask for permission he did not have anything signed. He just took the car and disposed of it that is not fair, nor how you treat your customers for many years. Please be aware what happens to the returning customers let alone the elderly when they intrust that their vehicle will be safe!!!!

Random occurrence with amazing results.
My 2009 Honda Pilot was showing just about every light on the dash it could, and, at times, they were flickering with immense distress, prior to no acceleration response and eventually dying.
I replaced the battery before getting to this point, and while that helped for a few days, the issue returned and in worse fashion.
I was driving to connect with my wife and take the car in to the dealer and it died right in the Get Fit parking lot.
Should I call a tow-truck, where should I go?
I calmed down and remembered there was a mechanic in the same parking lot. I walked over and was greeted by Ronnie.
I told him I thought it was the alternator, and he didn’t disagree.
He said get it here and we’ll look at it tomorrow.
I was instantly pleased with Sincere’s “get it here, and we’ll get to it ASAP”, however, I didn’t know what to expect or if I would face a fair price considering I couldn’t take it elsewhere without towing it.
I got a call the next morning and it was Ronnie. He said it was the alternator, he gave me a price, and said it would be done by the end of the day; the next day!
The price was a good deal, nothing inside of me thought to haggle.
The work was done and I was off and driving.
While there, I asked that they drive it to make sure all was well with the alternator, and maybe give me a consultation on the suspension. They did so and I was able to talk with Ron this time.
He gave me two quotes, the full fix and a minor one. I took him up on the minor one and my goodness is there a tremendous difference.
So now all is well, until, something else showed signs like my original problem, but it wasn’t that.
The air intake tube had a break in it. This part had been simply slid into place for years with no clamps.
They took me straight back in, and the next day, another fair price, and the work was done.
Seriously, if you’re in a bind, Sincere Auto Care is a savior!
They’ll work on any car make from 1997 forward, with the one exception that it not be a European car. I think we all know those cars have their “niche” requirements.
So if you’re driving anything else, need a mechanic you can trust, and you’re willing to leave it with them, this is the place.
No appointments! They move through 50 cars a week, easy!
All-in, I spent around $1500 in three visits: two must-fix, and one voluntary decision because they earned my trust.
This doesn’t include the cost of the battery, which wasn’t damaged despite the relationship between it and the alternator:)
Need I say more. An Irvington/Warren family business doing right by you!
