S&H Campground

We had a group event there, and staff members were great about reservations and such for multiple campers. While they weren't able to get us all completely adjacent, we were all very close to each other. We ordered a pile of pizzas from the restaurant on the hill; they were great to work with and tasted great too. While we had a lot of activities planned for the group on our sites, the family stuff for the kids up at the playground was an added bonus.

Our family stayed here on a whim due to just getting our camper. We were able to call and get a spot for Labor Day weekend. All staff was very nice and accommodating. The entire weekend was so great. Our kids all had the best time. Our 3 year old was very sad when it was time to hook up and leave. All the activities to do and live music to sit and listen to was so nice. We felt like we weren’t even in our home state of Indiana. It was like a vacation resort. We will definitely be back an and h. To your staff the cherry family thanks you!! Until next time.

Great place for a single person or a family to stay. Staff is very helpful and always pleasant. They have fun for the hole family from 3 years old to teenagers if they are out side kids they will love it. I have been here for 8 months and have not had any issues with theft privacy or party people. The owner has made it the type of place you can leave your camper unlocked and not have to worry about things missing when you get back.

The S & H Campgrounds was built in 1968 and remains in the original owners family. It is a large complex that requires upkeep and is being done by the staff. We stayed 3 months and never experienced any issues with other campers nor the staff. The campers are a mix of weekenders, seasonal campers, construction workers and full timers. There are a few junk RVs that need to give way to something better.||The owner is a good fellow with a heart for people and care for his staff. Seven days a week he deals with all campers according to what is best for the entire campgrounds and established business practices. On any given day he has to help campers or ask campers to leave. ||The office staff is good at what they do checking campers in, sorting incoming packages, mail and selling camping items.||The backbone of the operation are a handful of experienced maintenance personnel that not only maintain the sites but also help campers that have camper problems etc. They know almost everything that could possibly go wrong with RVs and can make repairs.||The lower area is prone to spring flooding.

Awesome campground like no other I have ever seen, from giant slides to bumper cars to putt putt golf to live music and special events through out the camping season and so much more very family oriented. They offer year round, weekend or seasonal camper sites, tent camping and cabin rentals a fishing pond and sugar Creek runs thru the grounds very well kept and maintained, couldn't find anything negative to say, my grandkids had a blast at Halloween festival

The campground was clean with a lot of amenities. The kids loved the bumper cars and the family fun park. The cabins were not in great shape. The flooring inside was deteriorating. The cabins were clean otherwise. They did not sleep 6 as advertised. They only slept 5 Max (1 full and 3 twin beds). We had to have one of our occupants sleep in a different cabin due to this. They were aware at booking that we had 3 adults and 3 kids. Bathrooms- floor deteriorating also. There were no doors (only a shower curtain that didn’t reach across) in the women’s bathroom. The men’s bathroom was dirty. The 3 am party at the neighboring campsite was frustrating.

Do not stay. The lot they gave me was on a hill and completely un level. After trying multiple times to get a different lot, they refused. Now my camper is ruined. My bathroom door needs replaced because of the tilt my camper had. I have to pay to have a new door latch installed. Mind you this was a great new camper before this hell hole.
