My wife and I (plus our dog) stayed here for one Saturday night as we passed through moving our "tiny house on wheels" from Illinois to Kentucky. The lady I spoke with when I called to book the site was very friendly and helpful. Within a minute of arriving, two people came over in a golf-cart type vehicle and pointed out where our site was. It was a very narrow road and a small site, so it was a bit of a tricky back in for our 32' gooseneck trailer, but a couple nearby campers kindly offered to move their vehicles out of the way if we needed. Was hoping to be able to leave our truck hooked up since we were just staying overnight, but unfortunately the site was too short to allow us to do that. No water hookup at the site since it was during their winter season (there was one water spigot available for filling fresh water tanks), and max electricity hookup of 30 Amps (sounds like they only have 50 amp sites open Spring through fall seasons). Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Really nice trails right over a bridge from the campground too! Site was a pretty reasonable price. Overall would recommend a stay at this campground!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️||White River RV Park in Cicero, Indiana, gets two thumbs up and a marshmallow on a stick from us! 🔥 The lots are large (not Texas-sized, but plenty roomy for comfort) and the whole park is set in such a beautiful area, it feels like a postcard. 🌳||The weather? Absolutely perfect. Pretty sure someone pulled a few strings upstairs, because it was the kind of weather that makes you suspicious. ("Okay, who ordered the deluxe sunshine package?" ☀️)||Cheeky perks:| • So peaceful you can actually hear yourself think… which is slightly terrifying if you travel with teenagers.| • The views are so pretty you’ll forget all about your Netflix queue.| • Campfires taste 37% better here — don’t ask us why, it’s science. 🔥😋||We’ll definitely be back — unless the weather fairy calls in sick. 😉
What a beautiful nice, clean, and charming campground. And what an amazing price to stay at this place! We stayed for 2 nights on Wednesday & Thursday. Came in town for a concert at Ruoff music center and it was a perfect choice. Campground is only about 15-20 minutes away from the venue. The campground looked all NEW! Bath houses were updated - water pressure was great and water was HOT, roads nicely paved, beautiful front store, updated electricity and water hook ups. I liked how the dump site was in the middle of the campground. My kids played at the beautiful playground at the front and in the river in back of the campground and was perfect for putting your feet in! Campground was only about 40% full when we were there and I was told it was fully booked for the weekend. Only down side I can see is there are only 2 bath houses that I saw (one in the front and one in the back), only the one at the front has showers which I would think would be very crowded when the campground is fully booked. They could use another in the middle of the property.
The campground is hands down one of the best in the state. The staff and parks have this place a 10/10 for cleanliness and operation. They Oversee and protect the grounds and people in it like family. The only issue here is all the entitled campers that think they own the place because they’ve been here a few times🙄Thinking they can make their own rules or that they are somehow better than everyone else. Other than that I would live here if we could. Thank you White river campground and staff!
Plenty of trails to walk, ride bikes or ride horses. You can take a trip down the river in a tube, kayak or canoe, fish or just hang out and watch the water flow. They've got a great playground for kids to play. Bathrooms at both ends of the park. Trees for shade or full sun if you want to tan. Primitive tent camping or full hookup. Something for everyone! Keep your dog on a leash and watch them closely, not all dogs who visit with their owners are friendly and unfortunately their owners aren't keeping them under control.
What a great evening. First we went to the White River Campground on Wednesday when it was closed. The night guard allowed us in but couldn't expect card payments so we drove to get cash. Afterwards we were buzzed in and followed the path to check in. The campgrounds had nice facilities even though the restroom and showers were placed on opposite ends the facilities were nice and clean.
Amazing campground. Well kept grounds, quiet hours were respected, wonderful place to spend a weekend. We will definitely be back!
