Sulav Bhattarai

My wife and I came back to Livery for the second time after a while, and we loved it just as much as the first time. We’re big fans of the CRG restaurants in general, and Livery definitely lived up to it. Our server Trinity was awesome. Super friendly and attentive without being over the top. We asked if they had any hot sauce and she brought out a habanero hot sauce that was AMAZING — it seriously took the food to another level. That little touch made a big difference. Food-wise, everything was great. The calamari and yucca fries were perfect to start. The chicken enchiladas were really good, and the skirt steak was just incredible — easily the highlight. I had the Carriage Margarita and it was spot on. We ended with the strawberry tres leches and that was fantastic too. Overall just a really great experience. We’ll definitely be back again.

Went on a Thursday night. Service was good. We had the guacamole, calamari, and steak empanadas to start. All were fantastic. Skirt steak and taco salad (sub chicken) were ok, but we would do all apps next time. Wish they sold emanadas by the each, or do a flight to taste one of each.

My wife took me here for my 40th birthday. We ordered calamari, beef empanada, and lamb empanad. For our main dish, we both ordered skirt steaks. The food was excellent. Everything was good and they did a great job with matching a perfect dip and sauce with dishes. The thing that impressed us the most was our server Josh. He was an exceptional and served us with love and professionalism. Serving a complimentary chips on house is very nice of the business. Overall, it was a great experience for us and we definitely will come back.

My husband and I first time at this establishment we were referred by some friends. Came for dinner the place was booming since we did not have a reservation there was like a ten minute wait. The hostess was very friendly, informative and professional. Our server Josh was nice attentive with good personality. We had the chicken empanadas which were amazing, Green Chile Lamb, and Chicken Enchiladas. All of the food was amazing well seasoned and deliciously put together. My husband tried the cocktail called "What we aren’t gonna do" with Tito’s in it and blood orange. Would definitely recommend this place and will return🔥🔥👍

Food was tasty but it was ridiculously salty and I love salty foods but I think the paella and steak was a bit much. Service was good, no complaints there. The dessert was the best part.

Came to Livery after the Colts and Raiders game. My husband got Skirt Steak. Probably one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The drinks were very good too. Empanadas were very flavorful. Would definitely recommend eating here if you’re looking for Mexican food while being in downtown Indy.

We’re living in Indy for a while as traveling healthcare workers and love trying new spots. We were excited to visit Livery, and our experience was a bit mixed. Our server was excellent…friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. She raised this review to 4 stars. The atmosphere was great as well. The calamari was very good, and the Carriage House margarita was excellent. Unfortunately, the entrées didn’t meet expectations. The birria lacked flavor and seasoning, and the carrots were undercooked and crunchy. The mushroom empanadas also came out slightly cool in the middle. Because our server was so wonderful, we chose not to raise these issues during our visit. Overall, we have mixed feelings but would consider returning for drinks, appetizers, and the patio atmosphere during warmer weather.

Antwoine was an outstanding waiter at Yard House. From the moment we were seated, his promptness stood out. He greeted us quickly, got our drink orders in right away, and made sure everything kept moving without us ever feeling rushed. What really made the experience great was his attentiveness. Antwoine checked in at the right moments, kept our drinks filled, and made sure our food came out exactly as expected. He paid attention to the small details, which made the whole dining experience smooth and enjoyable. On top of that, his pleasant demeanor made a difference. He was friendly, professional, and easy to talk to, which added to the relaxed atmosphere of the meal. Service like that doesn’t happen by accident—it shows someone who takes pride in what they do. If you’re dining at Yard House and Antwoine is your waiter, you’re in good hands. I’d gladly sit in his section again.

We had a great experience at Yard House. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was energetic and welcoming. I really liked the self-service ordering device on the table—it was super convenient—but we also had a server who checked in on us and took great care of everything. All of our food was delicious, and the portion sizes were very generous. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. Honestly, the food was so good that once we got back to our hotel, we knocked out immediately. We’d definitely go back again.

Perfect way to end a trip. This location is huge but still felt seen. From the hostess to or server everyone was attentive and polite. We wait about 10 minutes for sitting around 730pm. Calamari, Roll, Steak, Brussel Sprouts and Parmersean truffle fries was great. I wasn’t a fan of the brownie dessert although the ice cream was smooth.

We are in town for the Bands of America marching competition at Lucas Oil, with all the construction we were trying to find some place to eat. We stumbled upon YardHouse and figured we would give it a shot, the place was very busy when we walked in, they told us 25 minutes wait, we waited less than 10 minutes. Appetizers were amazing ! Onion Ring tower and Wisconsin cheddar cheese Curds, Food was also amazing! Kids Pizza, house cheese steak, Korean bbq cheese steak, and truffle Burger. 10/10 this place is a must visit next time we are in town.

I love the happy hour here . If I could recommend a few items , it’ll be the cheese curds , spinach dip and their wings . The barbecue is a classic but great choice. The whiskey black pepper flavor is sweet and peppery !!

The service I received was wonderful. went during Happy hour and it was very worth it. I did not know it’s also some $$ off for cocktails, beer draft so which was pretty cool. We got chicken margaritas, chicken nachos, buffalo + lemon pepper wings + calamari. Espresso martini and sangria

So surprised to discover this place around Fountain Square, truly authentic Turkish food + menu, felt like I was back in Istanbul. Live the decor and cozy atmosphere, staff were very attentive and friendly! Would definitely recommend this for a night out or date night. Menu was affordably priced, had the Falafel + Babaganoush eggplant dip + Lamb mediterranean. Spices were well blended and the lamb was very tender. Dessert was well worth it.

Amazing service and food. Everything was quick to come out and so fresh. Huge portions! We also had the Turkish coffee and it was delicious. My only disappointment is the tiramisu – I’d say it’s more like a cake that’s flavored to be tiramisu.

Excellent food. We ordered the çay tea, babaganush, stuffed eggplant (I think), and Bosphorus Special. I loved the rich flavors. The meat was cooked nicely – tender and flavorful. Serving sizes were generous. I love the atmosphere. The decor stands out in creating a unique experience. The music was quiet enough to be conducive to a friend reunion. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Would happily visit again!

The appetizer sampler was delicious, generous portion size. It’s all vegetarian as well. And I also got the Sultan’s Delight, which was tender lamb sautéed with bell peppers and onions over a bed of eggplants. The dish had so many elements but each layer of flavor married each other nicely. It was a delicious and fun medley of flavors and textures. I would definitely recommend this dish if you like lamb.

I'm not sure there is any way I can properly describe this establishment …. other than the food was simply outstanding, the staff was incredible and the food was presented where you could not wait to taste it all! (Hence why I have no photos of the appetizers). We started with Falafel, Hummus, Borek and Babaganush. The Borek was my personal favorite. The cheese inside was sheer perfection. Full of flavor, melty goodness. The Babaganush was so so good – lightly smoky flavor perfectly paired with warm bread. The Falafel – oh my! Hummus was perfect with everything! I had the Spinach Chicken (Ispanakli Tavuk) The chicken was so tender and flavorful, the grilled asparagus, spinach with yogurt made the dish not only beautiful to look at, but delicious to eat! This was my birthday dinner – and I was graciously served the Baklava for dessert. The best Baklava I have ever had in my life. Lightly sweet and crisp edges – it paired perfectly with the Turkish hot tea. If you have the opportunity to dine at Bosphorus – DO IT! We will be back soon – hopefully next week, I have so much more to try!

Cute homey cafe decorated with lots of rugs and knickknacks. Owner and staff are very friendly and attentive. We had the appetizer platter and it was amazing. Their tabouli is different than any we've had before but very good. The lentil soup was simple but delicious. Turkish delight is a good option for vegetarians. Baklava is the best we've had outside of the Middle East. We went two nights in a row when we were visiting Indianapolis because it was that good. If we're ever back in the city we're definitely coming back to this place.

Every other month my husband and I come to Indianapolis for business. Every time we come, we try a new international restaurant. We love food and learning about other cultures. On the way up, I was looking for where we were going to eat this time. I found this restaurant online, and let me tell you…I am SO glad we did. The atmosphere was peaceful and interesting, the owner and staff were so very friendly–just like family, and the food….WOW! So much food and it was AMAZING! We don't typically repeat restaurants when we come up, but we enjoyed everything so much, we WILL be back and HIGHLY RECOMMEND to any and all! You won't be disappointed!!

My wife and I visited for Valentine’s Day while in town. I am happy to say every single part of the experience was phenomenal. The service, food, drinks, etc. were excellent and Chef Tyler Shortt and his crew deserve recognition for the restaurant they have built. We will be visiting any time we are in Indy!

I’ve been to Tinker several times now, and it’s always a great experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The food is consistently delicious, and I love that their menu constantly rotates; every new iteration is beautifully executed. I always leave happy and already looking forward to the next visit!

Amazing from start to finish. The Korean mushroom appetizer could have been a meal in and of itself. Ive never had a scallion pancake, but don't overlook it, because it pairs so nicely with the slightly spicy sauce on the mushrooms. We were seated in a roomy and comfortable booth in the back corner somewhat away from the traffic which was great. Immediately upon being seated we were greeted with water and a champagne toast. Important to note our water glasses were never dry. They must have come by 10 times to refill them which was a really nice touch. For our main course we chose the duck confit and shrimp pasta, both highly recommended by our server, Nick. The duck was out of this world. Fall off the bone tender and just as flavorful as you could imagine. I believe it came on a carrot rissoto which was a perfect pairing. The pasta was also great. For cocktails we both had tequila. He had a take on a Paloma that was the special. It was a little different but still good. I thoroughly enjoyed my spicy marg. We really had not anticipated getting dessert but he couldn't help himself and ordered the ricotta donuts with espresso ice cream and chocolate pearls. He picked the plate clean. Everyone we encountered was attentive and helpful and the food was delicious. We can't wait to go back next time we are in downtown indy.

My husband and I came in for the first time this weekend. The service was nothing short of spectacular! Having a bubbles toast to start the evening was chef's kiss! We started with two cocktails off their specials menu and both were insanely delicious and each offered a new take. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly and he nearly cleaned the plate. As a vegan, I ordered the curried cauliflower. The cauliflower steak was cooked well and delicious. The sauce, however, was very sweet and acidic, almost like pure apple juice with a hint of cinnamon (I assume it was the pomegranate molasses). My potatoes were a little under, as well as my rice. I wanted to love it, but couldn't. We were so excited for the peanut parfait but it was unfortunately not being offered when we went to order desserts. While I wasn't 100% satisfied with my food, we agreed we would love to come back when the next iteration of the menu comes out. We really loved everything about our experience except for my main plate. I can't say enough about the wonderful service!!

Have much nostalgia going to Tinker Street back in 2017 on a date (with my now spouse) – that when we ended up visiting Indy to walk down memory lane we just had to try it again. Did not disappoint – even after 8 years this restaurant is a testament to consistency and quality. Started with the summer salad which was fresh and delicious. Got the Salt of the Earth cocktail to pair -super interesting and deceptively strong. Got the crab scampi and black cod as mains. Scampi was delicious, and the cod was truly special-most tender and buttery fish I have ever had – the texture is just on another level. For dessert, our waitress recommended the Pavlova, which was absolutely the right call – just a beautiful fruity palate cleanser; which I subsequently washed down with an equally phenomenal espresso martini. Long live Tinker Street – would love to come yet again whenever we get a chance to do Indy again.

4-Star Review for Tinker Street Tinker Street nails it with exceptional service and solid food in a cozy, intimate setting. The restaurant is definitely on the smaller side—think charming, not cramped (unless you’re claustrophobic, then… maybe charming and cramped). The food? Good. Not "write home to grandma" good, but definitely "text your foodie friend" good. Creative flavors, nice presentation, and portions that won’t leave you hangry. Now, let’s talk about the unsung hero of the night: the Water Guy. I don’t know his name, but this man treats hydration like a calling. I swear I never saw the bottom of my glass. He refilled it like he was defusing a bomb—calm, precise, and absolutely not here for your thirst. Give that man a raise. Or a cape. Only odd thing? The bathrooms are just a few steps from the kitchen. Not a huge deal, but it’s a little weird when your path to the restroom feels like you might accidentally be mistaken for a sous-chef. Overall, a great experience. Come for the food, stay for the water.

Great restaurant close to downtown. The service is great and the servers are knowledgeable about the menu and wine. They always have a vegan and gluten free entree. When you first sit down you get a small glass of champagne which is a nice touch. On our last visit we got the smoked carrots and they were shockingly good. The carrot soup was excellent and then for entrees I got long trumpet mushrooms and my wife got the Sacchetoni en Brodo. She said hers was good. The peanut parfait is amazing and a must get to finish the meal. It is on the pricier side but it is with it in my opinion.

Sat at the bar and the service was outstanding. Fantastic atmosphere. The drinks were fire. Highly recommend the monkey house if you're a bourbon fan. I had the hamachi crudo and the pork sugo. Both were elegantly layered in flavors and texture. Hoping to try the tasting menu next time I go.

Bluebeard provides a new daily menu. Their waitstaff, including the chef, are extremely accommodating when it comes to allergies. Whatever the chef curates, you can trust the dish will be more than impeccable – expect umami! Exceptional gratitude goes to this establishment as it can be challenging to find excellent dishes that can accommodate challenging allergies. Highly recommend this restaurant.

If you’re in Indianapolis, Bluebeard is a must-visit. The environment was relaxed and inviting, and the food was absolutely fabulous. We ordered the Mushroom Ragu and the Semi-Boneless Half Chicken—both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. This place absolutely deserves Bib Gourmand recognition and should be high on anyone’s list when visiting Indy.

The hype for this place is totally worth it and I’m glad I got to experience their artistry in food and drinks. I was meeting a friend for a Friday night dinner. We were shown to the table upon arriving at our reservation. We ordered their famous fried Brussels sprouts, summer panzanella salad, Lumache and Vanilla cake for the dessert. Salad was a treat and the pasta was definitely one of the best I’ve had. Definitely going back to try more items from the menu.

Oyster was fresh and delicious. The chicken sandwich is very messy to eat with the sauce immediately dripping. The chicken was also a little too tough to chew. Maybe something else on the menu would be better to get next time.

Had a really enjoyable dinner here! The menu is unique and interesting, and the interior is cozy and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel relaxed. We started off with chips and dip, and even though it’s simple, it was seriously fantastic—perfectly seasoned and addictive. For my main course, I went with the large panzanella salad, and it was filling, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, and the portion sizes were generous. The vibe of the place is casual but inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal with friends or a low-key dinner out. I would definitely come back if I’m in the area again—it’s one of those places where the combination of unique menu, cozy atmosphere, and tasty food makes you want to return. Highly recommend checking it out!

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Vida. The four-course menu was beautifully curated, with each course offering its own standout moment. The pescatarian options were thoughtful and well executed, and the famous ricotta doughnuts were a delightful finish to the meal. Service was excellent throughout the evening. Our server, Joshua K., was attentive, engaging, and genuinely welcoming. The entire team showed great attention to detail, addressing us by name and kindly acknowledging my recent achievement, which made the experience feel truly special. A refined yet warm dining experience—we will definitely be back.

We've gone to Vida 2-3x a year for the last 4 years, and Everytime it is the best meal to date. The food is exquisite and surprising in enjoying previously disliked elements, the service is top notch, and the wine selection is beyond impressive. As long as I live in Indiana, special occasions will be spent here. Thanks for always making the experience incredible! Pictures from tonight's visit:

We had a great dinner experience at Vida. First, we were pleased to find that they had both a tasting and four course vegetarian menu for us to select from. We decided on the Four Course Menu with Sommelier Curated Pairing ($150/each), and we had an extra desert😋. You have to try the ricotta donuts. From the first course to the fourth, both the presentation and tastes were wonderful. I would highly recommend the vegetarian menu. Especially loved the roasted carrots, caramelized cauliflower, grilled tofu and zucchetta cappelletti. And since we were sharing each dish, we also got to taste eight different wines that our Sommelier, Jarrod paired for us. Gabriel, our server and Jarrod both help to make this an incredible evening. Great food, great conversation, and almost 4-hours later…we’ll be talking about Vida’s for some time to come. Oh yeah, ask for some banana bread, it was incredible.

We come to Indianapolis several times a year. Vida is our favorite. The chef changes the tasting menu frequently and the wine pairings are always excellent. I always look forward to going to Vida when in Indy. The tasting menu experience will be two to three hours and will be memorable. Service is outstanding!

Came here to celebrate a birthday. Birthday celebration was handled festively, but not excessively. Got the six course tasting menu and wine pairing, it was incredible. This was a long expensive meal but worth it (3.5 hrs, $500+). Every dish was beautifully balanced and interesting with a great blend of flavour, texture, and presentation. The wines were well presented and Jared the sommelier did an excellent job! Some dishes were not to my pallet, for example there was a few dishes with a lot of dill which I’m not a fan of and the tagliatelle was too almost too al dente (borderline crunchy). Tagliatelle was also very vinegar/ pickly but the dish was still very enjoyable – a testament to the overall quality of the food. Alex our server also did a great job of presenting our dishes and taking care of us. Big thank you to the staff! Only got the names of Alex and Jared but the other serves were great.

Diner vibe without feeling sick later. The food was great tons of favor. Not greasy just right. I highly recommend it. I had the chorizo chimichanga, chili cheese fries that were amazing (perfectly crispy fries), and beef and cheddar melt. It was so good!

Overall, it was an alright experience. Staff was friendly and were prompt with serving/following up. The chilli was GREAT! The Philly was also good. However, the vegan nuggets were terrible. Half were over-fryed and tasted burnt. The other half were lightly fried, but no flavor. Both had no flavor without a dipping sauce. I would go again, but will avoid the nuggets.

Love this new find! The Brussel sprouts were amazing… And the wings were so so good. Definitely will be going back for more. It’s a small place but lots of tables and the people were super friendly and helpful.

10th Street Diner is an incredible find for the vegan or vegetarian. The food is incredible and you're served classic options. The Gyro and the Ruben are both amazing. They have specials that vary from time to time and offer locally made craft soda. I'm both grateful and disappointed that it's a bit of a drive from my home or I'd frequently eat here!

AMAZING! The food! The service! The mango lassi! Chili cheeseburger fries I'll be craving for the rest of my life! Fries crisped to perfection with tasty toppings! Yes 🙌. Beef and cheddar melt. Um yum. Chorizo chimicango yes more please. Left full and feeling amazing. If I could only give more stars….

I don't live in Indiana anymore and most of the time visiting feels like being tortured by devils, but I look forward to trips at least a little in part because of the reuben here. It's so good, I've had dreams about it. Honestly, eating that sandwich feels almost sexual. Spiritual even. The picture I took of it sucks because I was vibrating with excitement. The wings, chimichanga, and mango lasso also slap severely.

One of the nicer Asian restaurants in the neighborhood. We wanted to try this place for a long time since we were exploring Indy. First of all, this place is usually booked so it is advisable to make a reservation. The hosts are very nice and welcoming, and they accommodated our request, so we appreciate it. This place has a huge variety of different kinds of drinks which are great in my opinion. Our server was fairly new at the restaurant so he could not offer us more suggestions on what would be good. The food was different; I found it different than the traditional Thai type of food I was expecting. I was disappointed that there was probably a shortage of mushrooms when we were there and our server didn’t think to tell us when we ordered, so the order came without mushrooms. Their soup and noodle dishes are great and tasty! Overall, good vibes, decent service with a unique food and drinks experience!

Bodhi is always a 10/10 for me, and I highly recommend a visit! You will definitely want to make a reservation if you’re able to. The cocktails here are inventive and delicious, with a long list of rotating seasonal drinks to choose from, as well as the staple classics. The food is beyond delicious, and I’ve yet to try anything I didn’t enjoy here. The braised beef massaman curry is an absolute must try!!! The dish is so well balanced and flavorful, and I can’t visit Bodhi (or Indy in general) without getting it! Our server, Margo, is always such a pleasure! She brings the good vibes and good recommendations every time. If you’re in Indy and interested in some good Thai food, or some excellent cocktails, check out Bodhi!

The food was so good. We started with the crab puff and wings. The crab puffs being a traditional crab rangoon but even better. I ended up ordering the pad thai and it was very tasty! Loved all of the girly pop drinks too. The only downside is the 90 min time limit is heavily enforced and they will absolutely remind you when your time is up lol, so if you like to take your time this might not be the vibe for you, but otherwise it's worth at least one visit. Not sure if I'll go back because I don't like to be rushed especially if I'm catching up with friends.

We did our research and knew they open at 5pm and do not have online or phone reservations, so we arrived early enough. Good weather to just wait a bit outside. We got there around 4:45pm on a Friday, and there was already a line of about 20 people formed. It was worth it to be one of the first and not have to be on a long wait for sure. It was a pretty great experience overall. Service was very kind. We decided to sit outside in the garden area and it was really nice place for a date. We were really lucky, they had a new summer cocktail menu just come out (see picture). I really liked having the pictures of the cocktails to visually get an idea of what we’d be drinking. I really liked the style of the menu, and everything was shareable. Overall the cocktails were great. The fruit & fire reminded me of a summery orange margarita. I really liked the Seven Realms of Happiness drink too. We came for the pad thai noodles and it was amazing. We agreed that it was our favorite pad thai we ever had. Also really great yellow curry. 2 of the entrees were perfect size for sharing, we finished it all. We can’t wait to go back and try more!

One of the best restaurants in Indy! Located on the popular Mass Ave strip near Bottleworks. Plenty of parking along the street or at Bottleworks. The level of flavor in every dish is outstanding. We’ve never had a dish that didn’t blow us away. So many vegetarian and vegan options. Most entrees can be made vegetarian or vegan. Their tofu is cooked to the perfect crispness! The vibe is hip and cool and perfect for a date night or night out with friends. Definitely the best Thai food in Indy!

Bodhi's is one of those restaurants that's so good you actually try to space out your visits-because you never want to get tired of it. Every time we go, it's just as amazing as the last if not better. We've been coming here for the past three years, and it has never let us down. From the savory small plates to the curries to the noodles, everything is consistently delicious. It's a family-owned spot and you can feel the pride and care in every dish they serve. My go to drink is the Seven Realms of Happiness-super refreshing, perfectly balanced, and definitely one of those drinks that makes you go "ahh" after the first sip. We try to switch up what we order, but everything is so good that sometimes we just stick to our favorites. And with the cold season coming I already know at least one of us will be choosing the yellow curry on repeat.

What a great place we came across today for lunch. Lee was our server. He was awesome, friendly and attentive. The food was really good. My wife had the BLT Smash w/ London Fog Tea. My daughter had the BLT Smash topped w/ Egg with a Butterscotch Latte. My Son-In-Law had the Fajita Bowl (lots of very tasty meat). I ordered their Korean BBQ Burger (fantastic).

Each time we go, we both enjoy our food and amazing service. There are a few vegan options and more vegetarian options to choose from, with plenty for the omnis. We love the fresh pressed juices — Cashew Concoction is our fave! Husbo and I enjoyed a flight of juices together but we have yet to try the house drinks. Huge windows, tons of plants and beautiful exposed brick are visible from every seat.

Hey y'all need to check this place out. Every time I come here the vibe is great. Definitely a safe space. The food has always been so good and FRESH. I have never had a bad meal or experience here. Their juices are great too. I had the detox dream. Super yummy. The noise level can be a bit much here. Not do to music being too loud, but rather those around you enjoying conversation with those they love and care about. All good things, just beware and prepared. 😊 Thank you to garden table to creating a safe space, hiring caring staff, and being a great local spot!

Food was just ok, not really my style… For those that put eating healthy in front of eating something really tasty, this is probably the place for you. Ambiance is of a modern, friendly work preppy "let’s talk about your successful yet super modern, original lifestyle" kind of place (sorry, this is probably a little bit my own prejudice). The service was probably the best attribute this place has. Draft beer was ok; their natural juices is probably a better option.

I went to The Garden Table with my girlfriend recently, and overall, the experience was pretty disappointing. I ordered the blueberry hot cakes expecting pancakes, but what came out felt more like a slice of cornbread. None of the food was actually hot, which definitely took away from the meal. The servers were nice and polite, but the service felt rushed almost like we were being moved through the experience instead of actually taken care of. Another thing I noticed is that, although the restaurant is LGBTQ-friendly, I didn’t feel like the space catered to the Black experience or made us feel genuinely welcomed. The vibe just wasn’t there for us, and it made the whole visit feel a little uncomfortable. For the price and the hype, I expected much better. I don’t think I’d return unless major improvements are made.

This place is always a solid choice when it comes to brunch. They have great house cafe drinks and cold pressed juice too! I’ve been here a couple of times and favorite (not in the pic) is their blueberry hot cakes. The atmosphere is quite nice. Although it can be quite loud as the place is packed over the weekend. Overall, highly recommend! Can’t really go wrong here.

Dining at Axum Ethiopian Restaurant was a truly memorable experience. The food is outstanding — rich in flavor, beautifully spiced, and deeply comforting. The injera was fresh and perfectly prepared, and each dish reflected the authenticity and depth of Ethiopian cuisine. One small suggestion: because Ethiopian food is not as common for many diners, it would be wonderful if the service included a slightly more "educational" approach — perhaps guiding guests on how to best enjoy the dishes and the traditional dining style. For those unfamiliar with the culture, a bit more explanation could elevate the experience even further. That said, with a little curiosity and personal research, everything comes together beautifully — and the meal was absolutely worth it. A five-star experience overall, and I would gladly return.

It’s located near downtown Indianapolis with easy access. I love how friendly and welcoming the people are, and the presentation is amazing. I always enjoy trying a combination of the meat and vegan options — they have a nice mix of flavors. You can also taste the local wine, which is a great touch. I was just a little disappointed that they don’t have traditional Ethiopian coffee, but overall, it was a great experience.

I was in town for an Mdou Moctar concert and wanted to pair the day with vegetarian African food. This place came up in a quick search so I just decided to go without reading reviews. The vegan sampler and a glass of homemade honey was perfect. The colors, textures and flavors were fantastic. I was solo this time and will not hesitate to suggest this to any of my friends.
