He may have had good intentions but the design was flawed. I wanted a cover over my deck but he used 8 foot tall posts which just wasn’t long enough to provide adequate height and clearance. Sad thing is his company backed him up which severed services throughout their business. They it attached to the house then I had find someone else who used 12 foot posts which gave adequate clearance to Jerry-rigged my cover .

Bought a “top of the line” central air/furnace with an air filtering system around 3 years ago. We’ve had nothing but trouble since it’s been installed.The techs they send to do the routine service for this unit have no idea how to work on it and it always causes problems that shows up after they leave of course. Just as it has this week. A “routine” servicing by a technician said a 3 year old system needs freon! We’ve been told by many others in the business this is UNHEARD of! They send a tech the next day.They send a new tech that’s still training! He of course has not seen this kind of unit before. His supervisor is sitting in the truck. The new guy is going back and forth to the truck for I guess guidance? And at some point the supervisor or whatever he is does get out and actually watches this trainee? I’m baffled & not happy that a trainee is working on our system basically unsupervised! Moving on to the end of the service.I had to ask if the system actually needed freon. Trainee says yes. Has me sign a tablet thing? But can’t get that to work . I never get to meet the supervisor in the truck! So now it’s 2 days after this service call. our house can’t even keep cool! We are hoping it was just because it’s been really hot. But it’s 10pm and we turned our thermostat down to 66 and it’s still showing 72 degrees. This is not normal at all for our house. Usually we have it cooler at night to sleep. So it’s not due to the weather. There’s definitely something different with our system AFTER they worked on it from the initial inspection Monday, the guy decides it needs freon. Tuesday, trainee & supervisor, who were here, and we have no idea, what actually went on? Because now our house is not cooling properly at all! I’m still beyond livid the supervisor guy sat in that truck most of the time! Never introduced himself. Nor explained who or what was taking place??!!
We are totally being taken advantage of. We are both disabled, on fixed incomes and they see us as an easy target apparently.
We just don’t feel that we can trust them. Just feel completely taken advantage of.
❗️8/7/2025 UPDATE AC stopped working! Thursday noticed house is not cooling well! Turned thermostat lower thinking it might help. Nope! It continues to get warmer. Thermostat goes into this alert! (*see picture) This is NOT good as we’ve seen this before! Called MrQuik, left message. They called back with a next day time slot estimate. Mind you we both have health conditions that will worsen A LOT when in the heat. But they will get to it whenever! Our house was mid to high 80’s. Had fans going, windows open.
Here’s a picture of some really ignorant work done by MrQuik. This is supposed to flap open to allow air flow. Yet MrQuik screwed it shut! They installed it like this! No wonder our electric bill has increased A LOT since this system was installed. It was supposed to SAVE us money! ♀️
Oh mr owner…this is NOT a communication problem. This is a complete failure to perform BASIC ‘routine maintenance’. Not create a problem that didnt exist prior to said ‘routine maintenance’. Also helps if things are installed properly!

It is so upsetting to have been told so many lies by this company! The whole unit was never working properly the whole time since it was installed! It’s amazing it was working at all! It took a lot of time and $money$ to even get this system to start working again! All due to the errors that were made in the service visits from the time of “routine maintenance ” to having 2 more service calls by MisterQuik techs!

Great service that really saved my hide. We had the AC go out the day for we were hosting a grad party. I called a lot of places and most were terrible call centers with unmotivated people answering. Mr. Quik answer right away happy and cheerful and were able to come fix the unit sooner and faster than anyone else.
We just had a follow up inspection a few months later and the same friendly repair man came out and helped check out our system.
They are friendly, offer more services, but are not too pushy when offering them. Which is very refreshing and really makes me consider the additional options they provide.

After determining that the problem was located in the compressor, it didn’t take him long to pinpoint the problem as a leak caused by something the factory did when they installed the coil in the cabinet of the compressor. The only reason they aren’t getting a 0 is because they are pretty quick to get to your home. HOWEVER. The moment the tech arrived he started talking crap about our old system and that that brand is “the worst on the market”
Then proceeded to tell me the capacitor was out (almost $2,000 to replace capacitor and fill up refrigerant) and with that brand it’s probably better just to replace the whole unit. So being proactive I said okay.
$13,500 later. The new unit has not worked properly since it was installed. The unit is set at 70 and it gets up to 80+ degrees in my home. They have come out at least 6 times in the past month and it’s still not resolved. Plus the new unit is supposed to be “energy saving” however if it’s running CONSTANTLY all day and still can’t keep up then I don’t think that’s very energy saving. I’m really afraid to open my next electric bill.
Finally today another “senior technician” came out and circled the coolant type in red in 3 different places. Makes me think they put the wrong coolant in the unit in the first place and ruined the new machine.
It’s still not resolved and now they are having a “insulation specialist” come out tomorrow and I’m sure they’re going to say I need more insulation. The home is only 6yrs old AND the “crappy” previous unit was working fine at keeping up with the cooling.
I am so frustrated and I feel like they don’t listen. They are quick to say “you might have to pay an $89 fee for them coming out” NO it hasn’t worked right since it was installed.
I am about to have them rip it out and I’ll go somewhere else.

Romaney did an excellent job, knowledgeable, polite. Always wore shoe covers coming into the house. Diagnosed the issue and had it fixed quickly. I ended up setting up an appointment with Bobby to get an estimate on a new furnace A/C as mine was 23 years old. He went over everything, explained thoroughly about the different options and gave me the quote. I got the replacement today August 22, 2025. Jason and Raul were hauling out my old furnace within a few minutes. They completed the job in about 4.5 hours. The crawlspace is close quarters with a lot of things in your way, I honestly was amazed at how quickly they finished up. They went over everything, the outside unit, the furnace, the thermostat. Great guys.
My only complaint would be the thermostat, it does not get good reviews. Hoping I have no issues though, so for now 5 stars for One Hour. Terrific job.

The technicians were FANTASTIC!! The service from the OFFICE is TERRIBLE!!!!! NO follow ups from the office to tell me when technicians will arrive. It happened afternoon of 9/3/25, 9/4/25, and now 9/5/25!! I do not know when they will be at my house till the morning they’re SUPPOSED to be there. Then I receive a text telling me they’re on their way. I spoke to a Customer Service person the morning about what’s happened. Apparently it hadn’t done ANY GOOD! Guess I should find another contractor that will COMMUNICATE with me.
Like I said, the technicians TODAY, were FANTASTIC! The examples of PROFESSIONALISM. But the office, and therefore the company of Chapman is HORRIBLE and should NOT be TRUSTED to communicate with the customer!!! I have no illusions that this review will be shared publicly. But I will do my utmost to insure that word is spread throughout the state to my brother’s and sisters the public safety field (where I spent 28 years) and the military where I was proud to serve. I will tell every member of these fields I come across and in organizations I belong to.

Victor, and some other fellows came and replaced our old furnace. I gave a couple days to give a review because I wanted to see the results, and well the house is warm again! We had an aging furnace that was working, but has seen it’s better days, and still seemed to be working overtime. Back to this opinion of mine, Clean, professional, timely, and like I said, the house is still warm. All while feeling like more than ‘Just another customer’ Thank you!

John came out to clear a drain blockage. This has been something that has happened every year for the last couple of years. He was able to finally identify what was causing the issue. He provided a detailed description of the work that is needed and cost.
Steve Waterman came out today to start the outside work of the sewer line repair that John had identified was the issue. He was prompt and professional. Very good communication skills in explaining what caused the issue and why. There will need to be another crew come out tomorrow that will need to come in the house to finish the repair work.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience bothered me enough to share. Chapman is very upfront about charging $103 just to come out and look at your unit. That’s already steep, but I went ahead because I needed my AC fixed.
I explained to the scheduler exactly what happened—I accidentally pulled out a brown cable while weeding, and that’s why my unit wasn’t working. She couldn’t give me any kind of estimate.
When Nolan, the technician, arrived he was very nice, friendly, and clearly understood this was an easy fix. He reconnected the wire in less than 10 minutes and even tried to give me the cheapest cost possible. I have nothing bad to say about him—he did his job well.
But then came the bill: $120 for the repair on top of the $103 diagnostic fee. So $223 total for a 10-minute fix I had already described in advance. $120 for the work I can understand—but stacking it with $103 just to show up feels unfair, especially when other HVAC companies waive the diagnostic fee if they do the repair.
The problem isn’t the technician—it’s the company’s policy. It feels like Chapman cares more about their bottom line than doing right by their customers.
I wouldn’t use them again, and I’d recommend checking competitors first.

Eddie Owen’s texted that he was on his way. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He was here before time waiting on the others to be on time. He as well as his team wore booties to protect my hard wood floors and carpet. They covered my floors with canvas tarps throughout their path in the house. First of all I wished I could have gave a negative number because it would have been a negative 100. If you use airtron for a heating and cooling install you’re making a very bad mistake in my opinion . Back in 2022 I went through Home Depot to contract airtron to put a heat pump and a furnace in my new Cottage that I had built. During the install I had an issue with the way they run the duct work straight down the center of my crawl space. Reason being i installed light sockets for the purpose of heat bulbs to warm the crawl space so my water lines did not freeze in the winter. The ductwork was right up against all the light sockets to where I cannot run the heat lamps . This is something I did not notice until the install was almost completed and once I mentioned it I was told the only way that they would move it is if I paid over 1300. Which I wasn’t about to do so,I moved my electric. Fast forward to 2025. There was a foul odor and my crawl space show up on investigating I seen that there was water in my flex duct. I called Johnson Heating and Cooling and paid them a service charge to come out and analyze what the problem. After the inspection was done the gentleman clearly explained that the issue occurred because they did not run the insulated flexed up all the way up against the flooring. Stating that since they had allowed approximately 6 inches or so of metal duct exposed to the warmth of the crawl space it calls the compensation that led the flex duct to fill with water. It took me 3 years to notice this because there was no reason for me to ever be under that crawl space unless I had a plumbing or electrical problem. This is the worst experience that I ever had with a contractor. If they were the last HVAC company out there I guess I would suffocate because I would not hire them. Zoom in on the pictures please. To replace all the ductwork that they installed improperly it’s costing me and my wife another six grand.

Jake and Kyle did a real pro job at installing both my new gas furnace and air conditioner units. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful to my home. Very neat in their work and paid attention to the small details that they anticipated I would appreciate. An example of their due diligence is that Kyle brought out the old pipes that ran through the crawl and out to the a/c – experience tells me that other techs might have been lazy and left it all down there, but not this duo! And Jake made sure any new piping was close to each unit and saved as much space as possible. I know when Lawrence comes to do his quality check he’ll give an A+ report.

Andrew did a thorough and exceptional job repairing a leaking water line to my refrigerator. I listened to my concerns, examined all the water lines and made sure I was okay with his recommended plans. He installed a new shut off valve in the basement and also replaced the 20-yr old connector line from the refrigerator. Everything went smoothly. We used Williams Plumbing May 24, 2024 to replace the trim cover on the tub, waste and overflow – they charged us $662 for the work. Around July of this year (2025), I observed a large leak under the tub in the crawlspace due to insufficient connections between the overflow and drain. Luckily it was caught before there was significant water damage – the leak was cleaned up and Williams was called to fix the connections. The plumber that came attempted to fix the connection but overall determined that the craftsmanship of the entire tub drain was insufficient, leaking, and therefore had to be replaced. He questioned what work Williams had performed previously and was only able to offer a $275 discount for previous work bringing his $830 quote down to $555 for replacement of the drain. My expectation was at a minimum a credit for all previous work ($662) but realistically a completely free-of-charge warranty claim (they claim to have a 2-year warranty on parts/labor) to correct the poor craftsmanship of their previous plumber who came in 2024. Our phone calls to the Williams client care department were not helpful in getting this issue resolved and having them take responsibility for their work. Having reviewed the drain in the crawlspace it is evident that all leaking PVC was performed by Williams (anything past the PVC coupling in the picture) and I would assume a professional plumber should have been able to surmise this as well. Our crawlspace was painted white 2 years ago so its even more obvious that this was their work as they were the only plumber in the crawlspace since then and all the leaking PVC is not-painted.
I’m disappointed in the craftsmanship of Williams plumbing as well as their dishonest response in correcting the craftsmanship. I would not suggest Williams to others nor will be using them in the future.

My AC went out on one of the hottest days of the year. William’s Comfort Air technician came out the next day and told me after testing that I had a faulty motherboard in my furnace as the furnace was turning on. I was quoted $1700 to replace which was very steep, so I held off. Had a second opinion come out after the weekend and within minutes my AC was fixed. It ended up being an issue with my thermostat wiring, and this second-opinion company only charged me the service fee as they didn’t need to replace anything. My motherboard was completely fine. The William’s Comfort Air technician never even looked at the thermostat. Super thankful I didn’t waste $1700, as that would not have even resolved my issue. Would not recommend.

Even though I felt like I might be a pain with all my concerns, they never made me feel that way. They listened to my concerns, took them seriously, and worked with us until everything was fixed. It’s late June/early July 2025 and it’s 90+ F outside. I’ve had 5 visits from Williams Comfort Air staff and my NEW outside AC unit and furnace still doesn’t work (it continues to ice up). Did I mention that this is a new system that doesn’t work more than a few hours? This wouldn’t be so bad expect my bedroom temps are 90F all day and night making it impossible to sleep soundly not to mention work from my home office. H. E. L. P. One star review currently. Somebody help. Next appointment (today is Wednesday) is NEXT Tuesday. WThell? I’m a service club member to boot. I just spent $10K plus, my system continues to ice up, I’ve had 3 service technicians at my home, a sales guy and an install team of 3. Get it right folks.

I have been using LCS for years! It is a family owned company that truly invests in their technicians. I have never felt like the suggestions their technicians made weren’t necessary. During our recent heatwave, I discovered my home was not cooling properly. After searching online for a reputable HVAC service company, I selected LCS Heating and Cooling. I was easily able to schedule service through their online website. Technician Jerome Smith arrived at my home a couple of days later. Jerome was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Extremely disappointed. Nikita was the individual who was sent to repair our air. Our total cost was just under $400 to clean out our coil line. The “tone” of our repair person was not pleasant. In other words she was extremely short and rude. She charged us for 30 minutes of time looking and could not find our unit on the roof. She stated that if she had to go back up and look again that there would be an additional cost and that we were charged by the quarter hour. We had to call another company two weeks later to fix the unit that stated we had an extremely clogged drain trap. The new company was wonderful and stated that our prior person had not cleaned the drain trap. They were there less than an hour and charged a third of the price. Lesson learned: I would not recommend this company.
