Sonia Tarter

One of the best staff that I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with! Dr Carroll is always kind and explains everything so that I completely understand. He’s always friendly and supportive and is an expert in his field of work. I have always been met with kindness and smiles by all staff. I will never go anywhere else when it comes to my feet. I have a rare foot condition that no other foot specialist had knowledge about and after going to no less than 6 foot specialists, and orthopedic specialists Dr Carroll is the one that took one look at my feet and knew exactly what was happening with them. Couldn’t ask for anything more! Thank you to Dr Carroll and all his amazing staff!!!

Daniel Bluck (Innovate YOUR life)

Exceptional doctors and wonderful bed side manor! I’m a young man and went in with a cyst or a fibroma on the tendon of my foot. They spent an almost 2 hours with me and on my first visit and even started treatment! This was the second podiatrist I had visited for this issue and the difference was night and day. My appointment was at 10:45, they got me back immediately, and I was there until 12:45! My first podiatrist spent less than 2 minutes and sent me on my way. I have a follow up appointment and look forward to completely resolving the issue. They definitely did everything short of surgery on my first visit. I am so thankful!

Althea Crabtree

Dr Jeffery Stevens is amazing. He did an awesome job on my Achilles repair surgery. I did not experience very much post op pain I am 2 weeks post op now. I wish I would have known about Dr Steven prior to going to the first podiatrist I visited. I would recommend Dr Stevens to any of my friends and/or family for their foot care.

Lois Cusick

I went to Dr. Runkle to get a second opinion regarding my toenail. I had trust issues with the previous doctor who often dismissed my concerns, took almost no time with me and was condescending. Dr. Runkle is kind and I immediately felt comfortable with him. I trusted his advice and had my toenail removed. If I had gone to see him originally I would have avoided months of taking concerning medications that never worked. He explained the toenail removal procedure well and the aftercare. I felt that he took his time to make sure that it was done right. There were follow-up appointments to make sure that the toenail was growing back correctly. I am very happy with the care that I received at this clinic and I would highly recommend him. Trust and being listened to is very important when it comes to choosing a doctor.

Dawn Ashcraft

I called and left a voicemail after normal office hours on Monday 1/26 and received a call from their office the next morning a little before 9:00AM. I was able to make an appointment for the same morning at 10:30AM. I was seen by Dr. Leibovitz and he took x-rays and patched me up while advising me on the extent of the injury to my toes, showed me how to care for it and advised me what to expect from my healing. I left his office feeling confident my toes would completely heal in a couple of weeks!

I had vein surgery last year and began having a shooting pain and numbness in my foot. I read the reviews of Dr. Leibovitz and was impressed. He has a good bedside manner. He explained a plan to get me to where I was prior to my surgery. I was able to get xrays right in the office. I have seen a rapid improvement and am able to work out again. I even made an appointment for my husband. I highly recommend Dr. Leibovitz.

My first visit with Dr. Leibovitz was on November 10, 2025. I had told a friend that I needed a new doctor to treat a toe slow to heal from a nail removal. Dr. Leibovitz explained in detail a new regimen I should follow to facilitate healing. Most importantly, he explained the healing process and WHY the new regimen was better than what i was doing. I appreciated the discussion.

By far the best podiatrist in Indy, I’ve been to multiple and I recommend Dr. Leibovitz 100%. Resolved my plantar fasciitis and I will continue returning for routine checks etc. I’ve also referred Dr. Leibovitz to a co-worker who ended up referring her brother instead and she later came back and told me that her brother was very happy with his experience and said Dr. Leibovitz is excellent. Thank you! 🙏

Appointment was quick easy and very informative. Office staff and Dr Bhinder were very nice and explained everything in terms I could understand. My visit was not good at all. My appt was at 9:45am I showed up 10 mins early. Was put in a room at 9:45am at 10:25am I left, I waited 40mins. No one came in the room to communicate what was taking so long, not a sorry we are running behind, not a sorry we are swamped, nothing. When I came out of the room the dr was sitting at the receptionist desk chatting with the receptionist. Then when I started talking she got up and started to act like she was busy. When i told them i was leaving and didn’t want to be charged. The dr just said oh well you were next. So they think it is okay to leave you waiting for 40mins with no communication. I would have stayed and been understanding if someone would have taken a few seconds and stepped in the room to explain why it’s taking so long.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Care and Expertise! I cannot recommend Dr. Dhaduk highly enough. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt completely at ease. Finding a surgeon who combines high-level technical skill with a great bedside manner can be tough, but Dr. Dhaduk nails it. He is incredibly polite and friendly, making what could have been a stressful appointment feel very comfortable. What stood out to me most was how patient he was; he never made me feel rushed and took the time to answer every single one of my questions. His approach is extremely thorough. He explained my options clearly and ensured I understood every step of the process. If you’re looking for a podiatrist who truly cares about his patients’ well-being and provides meticulous care, look no further than Dr. Dhaduk!

Told him not to cut into a old ulcer I had back in 2018 and he did anyway when all I ask him to do was to remove a wart that was a little ways away from the old ulcer, and yet I still have the wart and the old ulcer spot he cut open still has not healed after 4 months the exact same healing process was 8 years ago, having to go to would care now. I had him fix my hammer toes and they look worse now than they did before. I loved him and his staff butt he just didn't listen

Dr. Romesh Dhadu is a miracle worker. I see the doctor for diabetic care, and also having a recurring pain in my right foot that had been bothering me for years. After a thorough examination and some X-rays, he developed a personalized plan for me, outlining all the steps I would need to take. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about getting me back on my feet (literally!). Now, I'm back to walking, pain-free, still diabetic care but am in good hands.

I was very unpleased with my service all around the board. They sent me to get MRI and didn't have the results. The Dr.Deheer went on vacation before I knew anything about my foot, how we was going to go about treatment. I goes back in to see what's the results of MRI they still couldn't tell me. Nice staff and Dr.Deheer Is as well just was unprofessional for me about my situation. I just don't like that fact that I wasn't given the best result as for my foot. Dr. did a procedure on my foot and didnt give no after care instructions or nothing. No call to check and see how things were going nothing. It just wasn't a great experience for me. The doctor was very nice. Ashley the receptionist was very kind. However the girl that took me back was not so kind. She was very impersonal and the entire time she was talking to me she kept her back to me. I was asking her questions about the form and she just kept saying " you can ask the doctor " as if she didn’t want to be bothered. To the point where I asked her " are you okay because you’re not very personable at all and she just have a smirky smile and said " I never heard that before ."

I have had restless leg syndrome for years and did not know it. I went to 8 different doctors. Finally I was sent to Dr Powers. He confirmed I have restless leg syndrome. My doctor is Angela Glynn. So far my 3 visits to her office "Podiatry Associates" has been a very pleasant experience. The office staff has been extremely professional and very compassionate about the level of care I’ve received. Sheeney, the office manager manager, was truly awesome to deal with while preparing for an upcoming surgery.

Overall great experience! I took my daughter in to see if shoe inserts would benefit her and help with foot pain. The doctor was very good and gave us a good path forward. The front desk ladies (Sheenie and Debbie) were absolute rock stars when it comes to patient experience .. and our nurse Brandy was amazing!

Just when did Dr. Glynn leave the practice? I found it odd that when I left a voice mail message requesting to schedule a visit with Dr. Glynn that nobody in the office returned the call. After waiting several days, I decided I would just stop by the office and request an appointment in person. When I stopped by, I was shocked to see an almost empty waiting room and one of the two desk windows closed. There was someone in line ahead of me at the other window. We had both been waiting for a while when the other patient turned to me and said "There's nobody there." I remarked that I would skip the wait to leave. When I said that, there was another patient who was leaving the office who said, "I saw somebody just sitting there." I chose not to risk creating a disturbance to request service, and instead struck up a friendly conversation with the other patient. That's when they told me that they, too, had been a satisfied patient of Dr. Glynn and that Dr. Glynn was no longer with the practice. Maybe that's why nobody bothered to return my phone call — because I had requested a visit with Dr. Glynn? At minimum, they need to update their website to reflect the fact that Dr. Glynn is no longer in the Greenwood Office. And, they need to do a much better job of responding to patient requests.

Terrible, I was on medicaid temporarily, all they would tell me was to get new shoes. I had to go to 3 appointments before I finally got it drilled into someone's head that I don't have money for shoes. Then they measured my foot for orthotics. The orthotics came and they're not right. The arch is way too high. Thank the good Lord I finally got a full-time job with medical benefits so I can see a real podiatrist, not that they'll be any better The way this world is now, but I can hope

The Noblesville office is terrible. Today I went for a follow-up; despite my better judgment after the first appointment. However it was a minor thing and I didn’t want to bother with finding someone else. After repeated texts to update my medical records, I completed them before I came in. The office receptionist wasn’t at the desk when I arrived – 7 min prior to appt – and when she came and noticed me, she asked my name and if I checked in – as if the clipboard isn’t right in front of her face and Standard Operating Procedure to sign in upon arrival at a doctor appointment. I said yes. Medical assistant took me back quickly and proceeded to go through entire questionnaire that I filled out online for them. Then asked what I was putting on the toe – I said the stuff I was given last time. She proceeds to ask if I knew the name of it, giving me a few options…I said, isn’t it in my file?? 🤦🏼‍♀️ After 35 min past my appointment time, I left without ever seeing the doctor. I will never return.

My husband established a relationship here in August to get orthotics. He said the doctor was great. I handle all of the billing and insurance claims for our family. They were horrendous to deal with. First he started at the Noblesville location. They demanded a 50% deposit for the orthotics and then they had such a nasty attitude when he tried to explain the insurance that I had to call the practice manager and we moved to the Meridian St location. Finally he gets the orthotics- fitted and delivered in September. By this time we have paid for them in their entirety and were promised the insurance would be filed. It wasn’t. I had to fight for 4 months, first to get the claim filed and then for the refund after the insurance paid 100% (which, had they called upfront like we asked, they would have known the insurance was going to do all along.) The only thing this business has going for it is the doctor. The third party billing company is slow and seems confused as to what they’re doing and the facilitators at the practices are not much help. each seems to blame the other. This was such a frustrating and disappointing experience. All told they had nearly $500 of our money for 5 months and I had to relentlessly follow up to get it back. Can you imagine how they would behave if we didn’t pay them for five months? If you choose this practice, watch your billing and EOBs!

Wish I could leave zero stars. They don’t bother to tell you on the phone which door at the hospital to go into. Didn’t bother to even mention it was at a hospital. Scheduled a first time appointment for my son at 8 am and asked us to be there before the office even opens. Then as I’m calling and calling to get directions they’re not answering because the office isn’t open. Calling til 8:12 am. Finally found it, parked and made it in by 8:15 and they wouldn’t take my son for his appointment. The girl at the front desk was pretty rude about it as well.

Frequently asked questions about Podiatrists in Indianapolis

What exactly does a podiatrist do?

A podiatrist is a medical doctor specializing in the care of the foot and ankle. Their work encompasses a wide range of services, from treating chronic conditions like plantar fasciitis and bunions to providing routine foot care, performing surgeries, and managing sports-related injuries. They address both the foot and the ankle, recognizing their interconnectedness.

When would I need to see a podiatrist?

There are numerous situations where seeking the attention of a podiatrist is beneficial. These include persistent foot pain, foot deformities (such as hammertoes or claw toes), nail infections, corns and calluses, diabetic foot care – crucial for those with diabetes, and foot injuries sustained through activities like running or sports. It's also wise to schedule regular check-ups for preventative foot health.

What kind of training do podiatrists have?

Becoming a podiatrist requires extensive education and training. After completing a four-year bachelor’s degree, individuals must attend a four-year podiatric medical school, earning a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree. This is followed by a residency program, typically lasting three to four years, where they gain specialized experience in areas like surgical treatment, biomechanics, and wound care.

What surgical procedures do podiatrists perform?

Podiatrists perform a diverse range of surgical procedures to address foot and ankle issues. Common surgeries include bunion correction, bunionette correction, heel spur removal, joint fusion procedures (like ankle fusion), and surgery to treat foot and ankle deformities. The specific procedure will depend on the individual’s condition and the podiatrist’s expertise.

    How is foot pain diagnosed?

A podiatrist diagnoses foot pain through a thorough physical examination, assessing the foot’s structure, range of motion, and identifying any areas of tenderness. They will often utilize diagnostic tools like X-rays, MRI scans, or ultrasound to identify the underlying cause of the pain, which could be anything from a stress fracture to nerve compression.

What’s involved in diabetic foot care?

Foot care for individuals with diabetes is particularly important due to the increased risk of foot complications like ulcers, infections, and poor circulation. A podiatrist specializing in diabetic foot care will perform regular foot exams, offer advice on proper foot hygiene, and provide wound care if necessary, often working in conjunction with a primary care physician and endocrinologist.

How do sports injuries affect the feet and ankles?

Sports-related injuries frequently involve the feet and ankles due to the biomechanics of movement. Common injuries include sprains, strains, fractures, and tendonitis. A podiatrist can assess these injuries, provide appropriate treatment options, including immobilization, physical therapy, and sometimes surgery, to facilitate a speedy recovery and return to sport.

What is plantar fasciitis, and how does a podiatrist treat it?

Plantar fasciitis is a common condition characterized by pain on the bottom of the heel, often caused by inflammation of the plantar fascia – a thick band of tissue running along the foot. A podiatrist will employ a variety of treatments, including stretching exercises, orthotic devices, corticosteroid injections, and sometimes, in severe cases, surgery, to alleviate the pain and restore foot function.

What are orthotics, and when are they recommended?

Orthotics are custom or prefabricated devices worn inside shoes to support the foot and correct biomechanical problems. Podiatrists might recommend orthotics for conditions like flat feet, high arches, overpronation, or underpronation to improve foot alignment, reduce pain, and prevent injuries. They are often used in conjunction with other treatments.

How can I find a qualified podiatrist in Indianapolis?

To find a qualified podiatrist in Indianapolis, you can consult the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) website, check with your insurance provider for in-network providers, or ask for recommendations from your primary care physician or other healthcare professionals. Always verify the credentials and experience of any podiatrist you are considering.
