I could not be more pleased with Dr. Powers. I have had bad foot pain for almost 10 years and have had several procedures and surgeries. Dr. Powers found the solution and 6 weeks post surgery and most days I am at a 0 pain level from most days having a pain level of 8! I am so happy and highly recommend.

Dr. Powers has done something very incredible for my left foot, a foot that has been hurting me so bad for over 6 years. That foot has suffered from pain from Morton’s Neuromas for years. Every single step, every moment standing, sitting or lying down, every minute of every day for 6 years— just constant pain. Unrelenting pain. The front/ball of foot area felt broken, like all the toe bones were just broken. I could barely walk when I met him. I had 4 previous surgeries with various orthopedic surgeons and podiatrists, all just made the issue worse because the surgeries were not performed correctly and the nerves regenerated worse each time, to where they finally had grown around the bones and tendons of the forefoot. I was left in more pain after each one. I finally found my way to Dr. Powers in the early winter of 2025, after a very well known podiatrist in Indy admitted that my case seemed very complicated and he would refer me to a doctor who "all he did was nerve surgeries in the feet and legs" and I am so thankful he did. I met with Dr. Powers at his Indianapolis location. He was very kind, and listened to everything I was saying. He took notes the entire time. He examined me and could see and feel the pain I was in. He then went on to tell me what was causing this, showed me diagrams and pictures of other instances, and explained what he could do, surgically, to help me. It was a very thorough appointment going over all of my history. You can tell Dr. Powers is highly educated and likes to get to the point and stay on track. He is incredibly professional. His office then submitted the paperwork to my insurance company, and we waited for approval. I had my surgery in early February, 2025, at a lovely surgery center in Bloomington. That was an incredible experience, they made me feel like a VIP, I am not even joking. I, myself, am an OR nurse, so I was VERY impressed with the surgery center and the people working there who took care of me. Absolutely A++. The recovery was brutal, I am not going to lie. It hurt more than I expected. But I followed his post-op instructions very carefully and did what I was told to do and as long as I stayed off the foot and kept it elevated and took the medicine it was manageable. But any time you have the top and bottom of your foot sliced open and nerves manipulated, I mean, there’s going to be some pain. Fast forward to today, I am 8 weeks post op, and I feel amazing! The scars look incredible, I can’t believe they have healed as well as they have, and I historically have not healed well from surgeries, especially being left with bad scars that are raised and red. Not these! It’s really incredible. But the best part is the pain, my foot no longer feels like it is broken every second of the day! Talk about relief! I am actually trying to re-train my brain that the pain is gone, I don’t have to protect my foot like I used to, I can really walk on it and do all things. It still hurts a little in the arch where he buried the nerve, and the top incision is just a little sensitive yet when I tie my shoe, but compared to before, it is a 125% improvement all the way around the board! I am very excited going forward. I am starting to think of all the things I can do again! This makes me very happy! I am so thankful to Dr. Powers. What a gift he has, the gift of medical/anatomy knowledge and how body systems work, especially nerves in the lower extremities. I am so thankful he has dedicated his life and career to education in his field and understanding nerves so he can truly help people like me. I really don’t know where I would be if he hadn’t performed the surgery that took that awful pain away. I also appreciate his kindness and empathy. He never made me feel rushed or foolish or like I was making things up. I hope going forward we can actually become friends, he means that much to me.

I have had restless leg syndrome for years and did not know it. I went to 8 different doctors. Finally I was sent to Dr Powers. He confirmed I have restless leg syndrome. He was doing a nerve procedure that was promising. He did my left leg first because it was worse and after a week I was feeling good. The leg tingling has stopped. The achy pain has stopped. The stiffness is gone. Three weeks later I am walking up steps with that leg again. Dr. Powers has changed my life! Looking forward to getting the right leg done soon. I highly recommend!

This team lead by Dr. Powers are miracle workers. I have seen several doctors who said I would just have to live in constant pain for the rest of my life. I went in hardly being able to walk and nearly bed ridden for months. It took one visit with Dr. Powers to know what was wrong and the following month I had surgery. After surgery I am no longer in pain and recovering well. Soon I will be able to return to living a normal life. I owe Dr. Powers and his team a big thank you for getting me my life back.
