Absolutely the best gym I’ve been to in years. I’m new to the area and this was closet to where I’m staying. They have tanning beds, sauna, pool, pickle ball, dance, karate on site, and cardio cinema (the seats are cardio machines). Definitely check it out!

The gym itself is cool, I like the fact that they have a sauna & assisted pull up machine but pay attention to what your signing!! I called and cancelled my membership over the phone w/ a new guy who had never done it before. He was walked through it by someone & I was assured that my membership was cancelled & I gave them my new card number to pay for the 10$ fee to cancel, well I guess he didn’t put it in correctly so I was charged 29.90$ about a month later, which included 2 months dues even tho I had cancelled it already. That’s why they had my new card number. My point is that contract will hit you hard if you decide to cancel. Just read the damn thing instead of just singing it!! I had to pay 30$ just about, to cancel my membership!!

David H. is hands-down one of the best parts of my gym experience. He’s hilarious, always has great energy, and knows how to make people laugh—even on the toughest days. He’s personable, uplifting, and genuinely a good vibe to be around. The gym wouldn’t be the same without him!

I have been a member on and off for 15 years and have never felt more judged in a gym than here! I was literally told I was too fat to work here ! If you’re going to discriminate against body types make sure your entire staff can pass a fitness test because your staff isn’t the spitting imagine of fitness Mr. Roy owner sir thank you for having a super judgemental environment and body shaming me even though I can dead lift more than your entire staff and am down 100 lbs on my own thank you very much ! Your trainers haven’t even gotten results like that! Unfortunately due to the lack of affordable gyms in the area I’ll be staying a member out of necessity. I would recommend the gym to most because it actually has great equipment BUT as a place of work? If you’re not skinny don’t apply

I had an issue and the general manager personally called me before his vacation to make sure the issue was resolved. The trainer Bryan is very skilled and I have had great success working with him. I do recommend keeping track of your personal training packages and be sure to cancel before the 30 days. I had to pay an extra month but I’m not really upset about it anymore, because I get an extra month of training. Bryan has been helping me keep track of my measurements and I am showing progress. I really love the women’s room and the cardio cinema also.

My first workout at Get Fit was yesterday. Last week I reached out for more information about memberships and Cal got back to me that same day. Everyone I interacted with yesterday was helpful and welcoming. The gym is spacious and has equipment and amenities I haven’t seen at other gyms in the area. I appreciate that Get Fit is locally owned and invested in the community. I will be back!

I don’t give out five stars easily, but I’m very impressed with this location. A week ago I joined VASA at the south side location, but I’m closer to this location. Everything was clean and neat. The dry sauna was super hot and the men’s bathroom is the cleanest men’s bathroom I’ve ever seen! I saw a lot of negative reviews for this location and so I’m glad that I went there today to see the reality for myself. It is definitely one of the best gyms you can join( at least this location)

I was expecting a dirty bathroom because it’s hard to clean up after men, but I’m really impressed with this gym. Definitely worth my $$ membership. Happy I joined!

I was in town and came to use a day pass. I arrived and spoke to a black shirt staff, told him I needed a day pass and he acted like the task was beneath him. He passed the tasked down but an issue came up so he still had to help and after some trouble shooting with the red shirt staff they figured out I had to do the tablet first.
Red shirt staff was happy to help no problem.
Other than that great gym had everything I needed.

First off, I want to say I love the Vasa brand. The layout, amount of equipment, and size offers everything someone would need. My reason for a 1 star with this particular Vasa is due to the management and lack of upkeep throughout the gym. I’ve been a member since this gym opened and it continues to decline. See included photos and following explanation. The machines are starting to fall apart, the dumbbells are missing rubber and have not been replaced and the water fountain filters are never changed and go for months without fixing. The men’s urinal is wrapped up more often then it works and that’s besides the toilets that leak on the floors, faucets that never work, and soap that is always empty in at least 2 of the 4 dispensers. The incline bench has a piece that was installed backwards so when someone adds a plate over 25lbs, it blocks the individual from being able to rack the bar. I’ve had to help multiple people who could not get the bar racked. There is a light that has been out for 2 years and now there are 4 out that have not been repaired. The walls are damaged and not repaired, painted, or maintained. Yoga mats are damaged and not not replaced and cable equipment is broken and “fixed” in ways that cause concern for injury. On top of that, the parking lot is not cleaned with unacceptable amounts of trash lying around and that’s tolerable in comparison to the amount of broken glass in the parking lot. Overall, the gym is great, however, management has a lot of work to do and standards to uphold that are far from met.

Didn’t like it. After my 1st visit, I never went back and canceled my membership. Was supposed to get a 1hr assessment. It actually took about 15 minutes after my appointment was postponed for over an hour when I was on my way there already. He still took another 15 to 20 minutes to start. I canceled my subscription and moved to a place with a pretty good gym. No waiting on people. All the equipment my doctor suggested.

Good place for young people. They clam to be for everyone but fail to say if you are old and have insurance that pays: forget it!! Also, I was told by staff steam room was temporarily closed waiting on parts. Members told me it has been closed “for months” also that the whirlpool “almost never is working”.
Silver & Fit and Silver Sneekers members don’t waist your time. They just give you a 3 day pass and never confirm your membership.

The place is clean. Nice equipment. The price of membership is good. The employees are nice.
The membership cancelation is a mess and if a person has to cancel say 2 weeks into the month then they don’t get to finish the rest of their time, they lose their money. Plus there’s a certain date you have to cancel or your next payment comes over and you have to cancel at the Planet fitness where you signed up. Just a huge hassle on that part.
I have recommended Planet fitness.
Spray Tanning would be GREAT!

I’ve been a member of Planet Fitness for years, and I’m thrilled to give them a well-deserved 5-star review! The gym has always been clean, welcoming, and affordable, with a great variety of cardio equipment and a judgment-free vibe that makes everyone feel comfortable. But what’s really taken my workouts to the next level is their recent addition of plate-loaded machines! This was a game-changer for me and other strength enthusiasts who love the versatility and feel of free weights. The new machines are high-quality, smooth, and perfect for progressive overload. I also appreciate how the staff keeps everything well-maintained and organized. I sincerely hope Planet Fitness continues to expand their portfolio of weight machines, as it shows they’re listening to their members’ feedback and evolving to meet our needs. Keep up the amazing work, PF—this is why I’ll always be a loyal member!

Stopped here on my way to the airport. Dropped off by Uber. I Asked the girl at desk if I could put my suitcase behind the front desk while I worked out as it was a little too big for the locker. I said I’m not asking anyone to be responsible just didn’t want to leave it unattended in the locker room. It was an immediate no – against the ” rules ” and she doesn’t make the rules. When I asked to speak to someone who does make the rules she said they weren’t there. So, I dragged it around the floor while working out. Thanks for your helpful and reasonable “rules” that members must follow.

Horrible, legit changed my bank recently and didnt realize I needed to update in app. I then checked in and was yelled at that I have a past due amount and needed to leave. I kindly wanted to know why I couldn’t update payment. I then let the manager know I wasnt a fan of being yelled out and told to get out without even being asked to update payment. His response to me was “she said sorry, you dont need to keep bringing it up” when it was legit my first time telling him. He continued to be unprofessional so I decided to leave. I will be cancelling my membership and happily paying more to go to anytime fitness. They just needed to ask me to update payment not treat me like I was trying to skurt past them

I’ve been a member at Indy Healthplex for over 3 years now, and I absolutely love it! One of the biggest highlights for me is the Kids Zone—it’s been such a lifesaver as a parent. My kids genuinely enjoy going, which gives me peace of mind while I work out.

The pool classes are another favorite of mine—fun, energizing, and a great workout without being too hard on the joints. And of course, the hot tub is the perfect way to relax afterward.

The staff is always friendly, the facility is clean, and there’s a great sense of community here. It’s been such a consistent and positive part of my routine. Highly recommend!

I have never visited an establishment so disgusting before, than this La fitness location. I was forced to go to this location as my previous Avon location permanently closed. First of all, 3 of the showers don’t work. The whole gym is disgusting and not looked after at all. There is so much garbage scattered around throughout the gym as seen in the photos attached. The staff really needs to enforce rules on keeping the gym clean because no one should be forced to workout in such conditions.

Just to cancel the membership is more of pain than any membership I’ve had. Not to mention this gym has always been dirty. The Avon location was much cleaner, and kept up. LA fitness is losing many member’s to the competition as they offer more, have more free weights, and better locations. Unless swimming is important part of your workout there are better options. Even if it is there are cleaner and better options.

I recently visited LE Fitness with a friend on [25/4/2025], and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing due to the unacceptable behavior of the staff member at the front desk.

The way we were treated was disrespectful and noticeably discriminatory. The staff member’s attitude made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, as if we didn’t belong there. This kind of behavior has no place in any professional or inclusive environment—especially not in a fitness center that should promote equality and respect for all.

I’m submitting this complaint in hopes that the management will take this matter seriously and hold the responsible individual accountable. Incidents like this not only damage the reputation of your gym, but also create a toxic atmosphere for your customers.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Racquetball courts are dangerous and slippery. They Do not clean the racquetball courts. The same dirt‘s stays on there for weeks on several different courts. 1 quart has been under maintenance for three months. This means they haven’t put a broom on it once and they let people play soccer and even lift weights on the court. Please don’t go to play racquetball if you want a maintained court that’s not dangerous and slippery.

I will never understand why people don’t rerack their weights. It has got to be inconsiderate people not just being clueless, you know you’re affecting others by not cleaning up after yourself but you just don’t care about other people. Truck driver here so 1st concern is always parking. There were a good amount of signs saying no semis but we see those all the time, there was plenty of room to park out of the way and not bother anyone, I don’t understand why places don’t like us around, I always guess no semi parking means don’t leave it for more than your break. Anyways, showers were good and equipment was good except for people not reracking and cleaning up after themselves.

This is the best gym I have worked out at in a very long time. Excellent equipment, good music (for a change), and Landan and the entire staff are top notch, very welcoming. If I lived within an hour of this gym (I’m from Florida) I would be a member here.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Best Gym Experience Ever!

I’ve been to quite a few gyms over the years, but this one truly stands out. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by friendly, professional staff who actually remember your name and make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is energetic yet non-intimidating—perfect for beginners and seasoned athletes alike.

The equipment is state-of-the-art, spotless, and well-maintained. Whether you’re into free weights, machines, cardio, or functional training, everything you need is right there. The gym never feels overcrowded, even during peak hours, which makes workouts more enjoyable and stress-free.

What really sets this place apart are the trainers and group classes. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, motivating, and genuinely invested in your progress. Each class feels like a community, and I always leave feeling stronger and more inspired.

Also, a big shoutout to the clean locker rooms, spa-quality showers, and the post-workout smoothie bar—pure luxury!

So I’ve been looking for a new gym and decide to try AMF. Yea, there are people there that know how to lift and some that are beginners but that’s ok they have trainers that will get you we’re you need to be! Everything is very clean. I love that they have the leg, chest and back sections in their own area. The place is not huge but perfect size. Does have some treadmills, ellipticals and Stairsteppers. Atmosphere seems really really nice and everybody’s friendly. I never had an issue getting on any machine that I wanted and if you ever need help or a spotter, someone’s always willing to help. Think I found a gym to call my second home!!!

Phenomenal gym! Stopped in on a Saturday morning to try out a new gym and was not disappointed at all. The staff members were friendly and definitely about fitness. All the equipment you need for the beginner all the way to the hard-core builder. Even had dumbells up to 200lbs!! Plenty of room for everyone with enough real iron plates to make ronnie Coleman jealous. A must stop if you are looking for a real place to workout!

It’s my home away from home, I’m glad it’s here. The owner nate epler is a cool guy that you can talk to without feeling discouraged of if he’s gonna listen. They got all your amazing conveniences and things you may need as far as food or energy source. The sauna is the best part of my workout, i can relax and sweat out excess water weight etc.
Always down for some AMF! Great place to better yourself at!

Cavin is great. He has worked at this Anytime location, For over eight years. he has a great story. I like this location and I certainly did not realize how big it was.

After 5:30 each day, the building closes. If you plan to work out after, then, you must pay for the device, that is used to enter the building.

This location is conveniently located. It’s a less than half a mile from the Indiana convention center and may be a quarter mile from Circle city Mall.

I like how this location is organized. They have a relatively new water fountain.

I spent a lot of time looking for a trainer and a gym. The first time I met Cavin, he genuinely cared about my fitness goals and was not just trying to make a sale. He has been my trainer for 10 months and I’ve already met my goal. Cavin is a friend and continually encourages clients, while creating a fun fitness community.

The gym is in a convenient location downtown. Usually able to find parking, unless there is a big event going on. Would recommend this Indianapolis location!

Not a true Anytime Fitness. If this location is not your home gym, you can only go between the hours of 10:00-4:00. Otherwise, you have to make special arrangements to get a building pass. Also, the gym is pretty run down compared to most other locations. The only good thing is the general location.

I joined this gym at the end of January. Since then I’ve lost over 30 pounds. The gym itself is pretty typical. The thing that makes this place stand out is Cavin, the manager/trainer. I’m a bigger guy and he holds me accountable for my workouts but he never makes me feel judged for being there. He genuinely cares about his clients and their health journey. It’s rare to find anyone in any profession with the kind of commitment to his customers like Cavin does.

I prefer coming here during peak hours as other gyms(vasa, pf, and the Y) tend to be over crowded and I don’t have issues getting on equipment. Parking can be challenging on pacer game days.

I have had personal training sessions with Cavin and he kicks my butt every time and is very personable. Would recommend.

Been a member here for about 8 years and we love the no-pressure environment. Everyone here genuinely cares about the gym and the people visiting. They have made some small upgrades from season to season but it’s the staff and easy access to equipment that keeps us coming back.

Highly recommend the Binford location if you are in the area but the Noblesville location is also very nice and we’ve taken our daughter there for swim classes for the last two years.

I regularly visit between 5:30-6:30 am during the week and it’s very quiet and easy to get all workouts complete without wait or interference. I’ve also visited in the early afternoons on weekends and it’s not bad. Overall, the team here is doing a great job and we’ve had no reasons to look elsewhere thanks to their cleanliness, friendliness, and low monthly rate.

J.C. Welch

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. We visited and inside is not bad at all. What is completely ridiculous is when we tied to use the free fitness class (we picked 530 am) the building was locked and several people were standing around outside pissed off. Waited 20 minutes and left. We figured it could have been some sort of emergency, so we went back at 530pm, after signing up for the class and there was no class. We asked at the front check in desk, and said that if nobody was there, including the instructor, then “I guess there’s not a class then”. Tried to show them our sign up and the listing on their website, “I dunno – ” was the only response.

First impressions mean a lot. This is definitely awful management. Yeah, the worst. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. Total failure.

    Consultations and Legal Strategy

A civil attorney provides initial consultations to gather facts, identify applicable laws, and clarify possible avenues. In Indianapolis, these meetings help clients understand the strengths and weaknesses of their case, potential litigation timelines, and the range of legal strategies that may be pursued. A well-structured case plan outlines milestones, required documents, and expected outcomes, enabling informed decisions before formal filings. During the consultation, clients can learn about fee arrangements such as hourly rates, flat fees, or contingency arrangements, so expectations are aligned from the start.

Contract Drafting and Review for Civil Matters

Whether dealing with commercial agreements, settlement releases, or service contracts, civil attorneys offer contract drafting and review. They scrutinize terms for risk allocation, confidentiality provisions, and enforceability, and identify ambiguous language that could lead to disputes. The goal is to create documents that protect rights, minimize future disagreements, and specify remedies, timelines, and dispute resolution steps if breaches occur. Thorough reviews can also surface hidden liabilities and ensure compliance with state and local regulations.

Dispute Resolution and Alternative Dispute Resolution

Many civil disputes pursue resolution through dispute resolution processes before trial. Civil attorneys can guide clients through mediation or arbitration, explain the options, prepare supporting evidence, and negotiate settlements. If necessary, they can prepare for court litigation while seeking cost-effective paths to resolution that save time and resources. Skilled advocates also organize and participate in pre-trial conferences and craft motion practice strategies to advance client interests.

    Personal Injury and Civil Claims

Personal injury claims encompass injuries caused by negligence, defective products, or dangerous conditions. Civil attorneys in Indianapolis help clients document damages, pursue compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering, and navigate insurance settlements or jury trials. They assess liability, gather expert opinions, and negotiate settlements that reflect both current and future needs, while also preparing for the possibility of trial when settlement offers are insufficient.

Property, Real Estate, and Landlord-Tenant Disputes

Property-related disputes cover title issues, boundary disputes, and lease negotiations. Civil attorneys advise on property transfers, eviction processes, and mortgage or lien problems. They help determine ownership rights, draft or review deeds, and negotiate resolutions that preserve value and predictability for all parties. Additionally, they handle foreclosure-related concerns, zoning questions, and disputes with homeowners associations to protect property interests.

    Employment Law and Workplace Rights

Employment law covers relationships between employers and employees. Civil attorneys advise on wage and hour compliance, employment contracts, and issues such as discrimination, unpaid wages, and wrongful termination or retaliation. They assist with investigations, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in administrative proceedings or court as needed. They also counsel on non-compete clauses, workplace privacy, and family- and medical-leave concerns to protect legitimate rights while balancing business interests.

    Probate, Estates, and Civil Litigation

Probate and estate administration involve the orderly handling of wills, trusts, and beneficiaries. Civil attorneys in Indianapolis guide clients through will contests, trust disputes, and related litigation to protect family interests while meeting legal requirements. They coordinate with executors, manage probate filings, and pursue or defend claims on behalf of heirs as appropriate. When disputes arise among heirs, trustees, or fiduciaries, these professionals provide strategic guidance to resolve matters efficiently and in accordance with applicable state probate laws.

    Consumer Protection and Class Actions

Consumer protection advocacy focuses on unfair or deceptive practices by sellers and service providers. Civil attorneys can bring or support class actions, pursue claims for fraud, defective products, or misleading advertising, and work toward remedies that benefit a broad group of affected consumers. They also help individuals understand their rights, navigate complex regulatory processes, and seek injunctive relief or monetary damages when warranted.

Frequently asked questions about gyms and fitness centers in Indianapolis

What types of facilities and services do gyms in Indianapolis typically offer?

Fitness centers in Indianapolis usually offer a mix of cardio equipment, strength training machines, free weights, and functional training zones. Many also provide group classes like cycling, yoga, HIIT, and sometimes swimming pools or saunas. Some facilities specialize in cross-training or mind-body workouts, while others focus on sports performance or rehabilitation services.

How do I choose the right gym in Indianapolis for my goals?

To pick the right gym, consider location, hours, pricing, and the equipment mix that fits your routine. Look for cleanliness, staff support, and community feel. Reading member reviews and taking a tour can help you assess if the atmosphere and fit align with your goals.

What are typical membership costs and what do they include in Indianapolis?

Membership costs vary by tier and facility size. Common options include a basic monthly rate, a multi-access package, or a premium plan with perks. Some gyms require an initiation fee and offer no-commitment or yearly contracts. Always verify what’s included, such as standard classes, childcare, or guest passes.

Are there student, senior, or military discounts available in Indianapolis gyms?

Many facilities offer discounted rates for students, seniors, and military personnel. Look for proof of eligibility during sign-up and ask about special promotions or refer-a-friend programs that can reduce the cost.

What safety and cleanliness measures should I expect at Indianapolis gyms?

Most gyms emphasize sanitation protocols with regular equipment cleaning, hand sanitizer stations, and washrooms. Some facilities use air filtration systems and crowding controls to maintain a safe environment. If you have concerns, ask about cleaning schedules and mask policies.

What should I know before my first visit or tour of a gym?

During a gym tour, check the facility layout, the availability of equipment, and the class schedule. Bring a comfortable outfit and hydration plan, and arrive early to complete new member forms and a fitness assessment if offered. Ask about parking options and guest policies.

Do Indianapolis gyms offer group classes and personal training?

Yes, most centers offer a range of group classes and personal training services. Classes may require pre-registration and may vary by day. Personal trainers can help with a custom plan, technique coaching, and progress tracking. Check availability and certifications of trainers when choosing.

What are peak hours and how can I avoid crowds?

Peak times often occur in the after-work and early-morning windows. To avoid crowds, consider midday or late-evening visits, or explore off-peak memberships that offer lower rates for less busy times. Some gyms publish real-time equipment availability through apps or displays.

What are the cancellation, freeze, and refund policies?

Cancellation and freeze policies vary by gym. Some require a notice period and may charge a processing fee, while others allow instant cancellations or short-term freezes. Always review the contract terms, including refunds for unused services and any billing cycles.

How accessible are Indianapolis gyms for people with disabilities?

Many gyms in Indianapolis strive for accessibility with ramps, elevators, wide doorways, and accessible restrooms. Look for ADA-compliant facilities, staff trained in assisted workouts, and adaptive equipment to support diverse fitness needs.
