I had a professional and amazing experience at We Grow Hair Indy. I am located two (2) flights away from the clinic. I was worried about the travel but the clinic set me up with great expectations and prepared me with what I needed to make it home as stress free as I could. I previously did a FUE and saw good results but I knew I was going to need one more. I decided after consulting with Darren to try the FUT. There are a lot of worries around this type of procedure, however; I felt that I wanted to get the most hair I could and this was my best option. The FUT procedure was actually easier than the FUE from a comfortability standpoint. The procedure flew by and at first glance looks like I received the coverage I was looking for. Post-op the procedure is uncomfortable for 48-72 hours but they give you high-quality medication to deal with the discomfort. The doctor who does the procedure is one of the best at developing a great hairline and natural look. The staff is incredibly helpful and supportive at making you feel comfortable. This is a very hard and uncomfortable decision but you want to work with people who aren’t looking to just take your money. This medical group is top notch and grateful for the communication, quick responses and check-ins post surgery. If you’re considering a procedure, take the time to consider all options and know that they are worth the trip. I will update this in a few months as my results start showing on how the procedure is working for me.

After multiple recommendations, and testimonials, I called We Grow Hair Indy in early 2025 and was connected to Will. I lamented the loss of the hair on the top of my crown specifically. I just had my 12 month follow up visit with Melissa Green last week and couldn’t believe the change in my hair. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to be so thrilled. It wasn’t until I saw the before and after photos and watched the screen as we looked more closely at my scalp, that I realized how well my treatment really worked. I had lost quite a bit of hair and experienced a very inflamed scalp due to an autoimmune disease and was losing hope. The amount of shedding had increased so quickly and my hair became incredibly fragile and would break easily, my ponytail had become less than half of what it had been. after hearing all of my options , I decided to go ahead with the stem cell injections in my scalp. I took my daughter to Transitions a couple of months after I noticed her hair was falling out. She was just seven years old, and she had several areas, some as large as a quarter, where there was no hair at all. (We had briefly tried a topical solution advised by a dermatologist, but the package clearly indicated that it was not recommended for people younger than 12.) Within about three months of laser treatments, new hairs have appeared and grown in the bald areas enough that it is not noticeable that she ever had a problem.

After 45 treatments and a year of maintenance, I must say I am more than pleased with the results. My dermatologist had said my receding hairline areas would not grow back hair due to alopecia. Thus, my goal was just to stop the hair loss versus hair growth. I am happy to say the loss has stopped, my hair is thick, and, best of all, I even have some growth back in a few areas!
