The driver was awesome! He was thorough and called to make sure he had the right information. He was super professional and kind. When we got to the repair shop he took took the car off the tow truck bed while I managed the paperwork in the office.

Giving three stars for what seemed like compassion from the managers after the incident happened. They were speedy, so most reviews I cannot relate in regard to this, however the tow driver ran my car through my garage door… I know it was an accident and the tow driver seemed remorseful and I want to give credit for that. The second manager I spoke to said that this would be handled asap and I appreciate the reassurance as my home is currently for sale. I was distraught as I’ve been dealing with the stress of moving across the country here soon. I am concerned on how this will affect the buy of my home if potential interest drive by to see my home until it is fixed. Obviously it is unlikely to reimburse me for emotional distress but it’s my reality. I now have to add something else to my to do list in keeping up with the tow company’s word on fixing and repairing my home from the damage. I have not checked my vehicles damage since the tow was late in the evening and having two younger toddlers at home. For both parties, I wish this never happened. Again, I do want to emphasize what seemed to be compassion from the managers and tow driver after the incident. For this, it pains me to write this review but I have to document my experience in the event this is not handled properly and fairly

Update: If I could give 0 stars I would at this point. We have been waiting for a tow for 3+ hours. We originally called at 6:40 & we gave up on them at 10:17pm. Now we get to wait another 2 hours on a dark road in a jeep that has no doors or roof.

The dispatch guy kept saying driver is on way & will be there any minute. Then when we call again, they say 45 mins. Today is the hottest day of the year so far & we keep waiting. They answer the phone & the guy only says, let me call my supervisor but you can’t talk to him. It went from day light to night time. I asked would you let me speak with the driver so that I can get a ETA since nothing they have promised is accurate. They took our money & now we do not know what to do. We were originally quoted 30 mins wait time. We are on a residential road, no restaurant or gas station around. It’s a dark neighborhood with no street lights. This is getting scary! Plus there GPS system/texting system has told us they arrived 2 hours ago.

The dispatcher just called us & said the driver took another tow & he should be here any minute. Mind you an hour ago, they promised us he would be here any minute.

It’s now 10pm & nothing

It’s 10:15 & pitch dark & nothing.

We gave up & called another tow company. Now have to wait another 2 hours. The tow company advised that this is the 2nd time they have heard this today about this company. It’s a problem, take my advise do not use them!

I have dealt with Yaffo Towing twice, both times through my insurance on different vehicles. They have been great every each time and would make sure to communicate with me. Both times, the driver was great, easy to talk to, and he was very careful with my lowered car. Highly recommend if you are in emergency need of towing.

My insurance company contacted Yaffo Towing, see photo for the problem I was having. This happened on Memorial Day and I was at a lake near Nineveh IN, a somewhat remote locations. It took a while for the tow truck to arrive but I think they were one of the few companies taking calls on the holiday and I was more than an hour away from Indianapolis. Once the tow truck arrived, the operator knew what to do and had a great attitude. It took a while to get my car back on solid land but the operator was very careful and smart and there was no damage to my front end or any part of my car. I know this had been a long day for this young man but he was so pleasant and nice. I give Yaffo Towing and this employee in particular my highest recommendation. Thank you for coming to my rescue.

Jo was very professional and upon arrival he explained to me the best way to load my truck onto the flatbed due to me having a broken rear control arm. He was prompt and all and all an awesome driver. I will definitely be reusing and recommending the company for all my towing needs. Also the dispatcher was amazing and quoted me an awesome quote to get my vehicle to the shop.

Oz (Dave) came to my aid when my van got stuck in gear due to a broken shift cable. Got there promptly with the right equipment and know-how, and delivered my van to my mechanic’s shop in short order. Very pleasant to work with. I was very pleased with the service overall. Went through AAA so not sure how the communication works, but he didn’t receive the details of my specific location so had to call to find me in the parking lot. Not a problem for me but probably would have been easier for him if the full location description was passed on to him.

Best service EVER!!! My driver was Oz and he was hilarious. Definitely made the day a lot less stressful. We need more people like him and life. I’m very grateful!

One of my rears went out on I-70, Called Paddack’s about towing me to a repair shop, from the guy answering the phone and sending over a truck, very professional and polite.

Your heavy driver Andrew is absolutely amazing! I was stranded at McClure Fuel Stop off exit 140 in Lebanon. ETA was 60-90 minutes, I myself am a tow truck operator, and knowing what I know about the industry that was expected. What wasn’t expected was that Andrew called me 15 minutes after I got off with dispatch and said he was about 10-15 minutes away. SCORE! He was very efficient, knowledgeable, professional, and my favorite of all, personable. He made a very long rough night just a little bit easier to bear. Will definitely use Paddacks again in the future, just hopefully not the near future.

I needed my truck towed to a shop to get my rad replaced. My driver, Darin P, got me off the side of the road quickly and was able to recommend a shop to get it done. I enjoyed chatting with him along the way too.

We worked with 200+ towing companies and this one was probably the best. They have towed our semi truck for a really cheap price and cooperated very well from the beginning to the end. Lady that was dispatching, Regan, was very polite and worked with us on making corrections on the invoice as well. They even dropped our driver at a hotel of our choice.

The driver of this truck was amazing!!!! He moved a couple large radiators for me. I had a different crane service earlier in the day and I was nervous the whole time. This guy came after hours for a fraction of the price. He put them back in place so fluid like. Was extremely polite…informative during the process. The only way I could be happier is if he paid me

I received a return call within an hour and four hours later, my camper was successfully parked in the driveway. Everything was great from start to finish. It was difficult finding a service who could tow a camper or trailer in addition to vehicles and that is another big plus. I told Cody and James, there is nothing better than getting the job done right the first time. I definitely recommend this company which is family owned and will use them again.

In my case, their flat bed too big and can’t put my camper in correct position, because they don’t want to drive on neighbors’ lawn. I want to share my experience with Hix Wrecker Service with you. From my first call I was treated with respect and care and much friendliness. I can’t tell you how kind this company is. When my tow truck driver, JJ, arrived he was so polite and sympathetic and knowledgeable. He worked quickly and efficiently and was so very kind. He explained how my wheel works and what could be the problem. This will help me when I take the camper into a shop to be repaired. I had a great experience with everyone at this Hix and would totally recommend them; kudos to driver, JJ and all their staff.

My car was towed. I called and the lady couldn’t give me any information except the fact that this was a different location so she couldn’t give me any fees or anything. She was stumbling over her words the entire time I was talking to her. Why works you have your phone calls roll over to another location if they can’t give you fees and prices? Now I have to wait until 8 to get a price to get my car. Blasphemy

I had my car towed, I told them the correct address the first time, apparently they took it to the wrong address which I wasn’t mad about it, I understand mistakes happen. But then they tried to charge me for their mistake and when I said I wasn’t paying for there mistake, only the $165 that I was originally quoted, she started threatening me saying she was going to impound my car. A much kinder women was able to reconcile the situation and we got it figured out. But whoever threatened me, a paying customer, was completely unprofessional. I won’t be doing business with this company ever again.

Mr Jimmy was awesome! He was an absolute expert at his craft. Super good man. Hopefully you never need a tow, but stuff happens. If you do need a tow, this is the only place to call. Fair price and friendly service is almost non-existent in today’s world. Surprisingly, you get both a Hix Wrecker. I highly recommend Hix. Give Miss Wanda a call and she’ll get you squared away in no time! Safe travels my friends!

Very unprofessional, very rude, and a real scam company that charges $1,700 for 5 miles with a semi truck.
And don’t deceive people by having your friends give fake 5-star reviews.

So you can see the time stamp an I just had to call and they tell me the driver will be leaving the lot shortly??? So I had to call to get that I am maybe 6 miles away and if your driver is in the lot?? Guess since it’s an insurance that’s easy money for them it’s 744 pm and I have been sitting broke down on the road waiting

I would give them no stars if I could.
First they tow my boyfriends freightliner illegally (company is investigating) $2500 to get it out as soon as it got their.
Then we get the truck and check all his stuff to see if anything was missing and sure enough he has property missing plus they took his vapes new and USED BURNT OUT.
All I can say is bad karma comes to bad people and whoever stole his stuff is bad people. Onto of yall taking his truck illegally. I do not recommend this place.

I am a dealer in Alabama. These guys redeemed my collateral for me in under 3 hours, worked with me to get my vehicle back to me before my 10 days was up! Will use these guys again.

Even though it cost $550 to get my car out after 1 week with no courtesy sticker placed on car, staff was very friendly. But the prices are ridiculous, $150 initial fee, $30 every day for storage, and $100 lien fee after 3 days storage, tow companies are highway robbery!!

Had a great experience with Last Chance. My daughter ‘s. Vehicle was stuck in a parking garage. They got there right away. I wish I had got the name of the driver. He was insanely wonderful. Very personable and helped us get our vehicle to a repair shop. If you have a towing need in downtown Indy, they are the ones to call.

Towed my fiancé’s vehicle from our apartment complex WRONGFULLY. We woke up thankfully having the day off and noticed… I will say the lady who answered the phone was very generous and went and checked the vehicle and obviously saw the parking permit in the front windshield. She (who was nowhere near the wrong) was obviously apologetic and showed humility… it would’ve taken the idiotic tow truck driver about 5 seconds if they would actually get out and look for a sticker instead of thinking about compensation for picking the vehicle up. As this isn’t the first for this company I’m sure it won’t be the last. In my line of work if I would’ve messed up, I’d be facing termination/charges. Do better.

I have to get many cars out of impound as part of my job and these guys are amazing compared to 90% of the impounds I have to deal with.

Their impound fees were reasonable, they were very clear on the phone what documents were needed to release the car. When I arrived the lady up front was very quick to help me and they got me in and out in less than 10minutes.

They towed my car from my apartment garage saying I didn’t have my parking pass in the windshield, yet just a couple seconds of searching would have shown them that my sticker was on my dashboard. All of their pictures conveniently showed every spot of the car other than where the sticker was. They then threatened to trespass me for going to my car in the lot to take a picture as evidence that my sticker was on the dash. Woman behind the desk has zero customer service skills as expressed in various other negative reviews. They said I should have gone in to the office before going to my car, yet I called an hour in advance informing them that I believe they wrongfully towed my car. I know several people in the same building that had their cars wrongfully towed as well. The people at Last Chance display an utter lack of professionalism or care for people’s property.

Drove all they way from NY to visit some family for a 2 night at their apartment complex just to find my car in this lot totally unaware that visitors (which didn’t have any available parking spots) must park separate from residents, it became a major pain in the ass for me because i now had to fork up $150 and time spent with my family the staff is unprofessional and didn’t flex with me considering i had my pregnant wife to tend to. They have left a bitter taste in my mouth from every wanting to visite this place again.

On September 23, 2021, my private mode of conveyance—used for peaceful, non-commercial purposes—was taken from private property without consent, contract, or lawful notice. This action was conducted across county lines, exceeding the permitted range for this company’s operations, and without compliance to Indiana Code § 9-22-1-5. We tried to handle this in private but that was a no go, now we make it public.
There was no visible signage with required company information as per statute at their place of business, and no evidence was ever provided of a lien, warrant, or judicial process. The company has not responded to prior peaceful notices seeking remedy or return of private property, and the BBB lists them with an “F” rating and unanswered complaints. Their own rules say one must show a title or registration, they however required both.
This is shared for transparency and awareness. I am a living being seeking harmony, not conflict. Let those with ears to hear consider whether this entity conducts itself with integrity and lawful regard for others. May this message support others in making informed decisions.

Stole my car. Indy Pro Tow monitors the parking at my apartment complex. On 8/14/25 I went to go the fair with friends and my car was gone. Called and they said they had towed my car for not having a parking permit. I told them where on the windshield my permit was and they said that it was there, but it was the wrong permit for my complex and they wouldn’t bring my car back to me. Property management got in touch with them and told them that my permit was in fact valid. Indy pro tow had failed to update their staff on the new permits that the property sent them. Had to uber to the tow yard and they released my car for free but I’m out the $20 for my uber and was incredibly late to my plans. One star because at least the people in their office were nice when I got there.

Interactions with this company are handled smoothly by the lady behind the steel door. Even though after paying we were required to wait for a tow truck driver to tow the vehicle off the lot, the wait was made carefree because of the nice ladies people skills.

I had a very unpleasant experience with Indy Towing Services due to the dispatcher’s unprofessional and rude behavior. She spoke with a condescending tone, showed no patience, and clearly lacked the basic people skills expected from someone working in customer service. Her attitude came across as bitter and irritated, as if helping customers was a burden rather than part of her job. It’s disappointing to see this kind of treatment, especially during already stressful situations like dealing with a tow. A quick look at other reviews shows this isn’t an isolated incident; it seems to be a recurring issue with this company’s customer service. Indy Towing Services, your customers deserve respect and professionalism. Please train your staff accordingly and take accountability for consistent complaints. Do better.

Called twice to assist one of our customers with removing an abandoned camper from her property. Both times that I spoke with dispatch, I was told this camper could be removed so long as the property owner reached out and there is a contract signed. Property owner reached out to sign a contract and was told they do not do campers. Reached out again as I assumed there must have been a misunderstanding. Explained the situation and even sent pictures of the camper. Was told this could be done and to have the property owner email their team for a contract. Weeks go by and Indy never reached out. It’s a shame we could not receive the assistance we were looking for and have both the property owner and ourselves in circles.

The came into my nieces apartments stole her fiance car in the middle of the night that was not illegally parked tags were good they pay for the car port then tried to tell her she had to pay to get the car out when she showed proof they illegally towed it the apartments called then they never gave a notice they didn’t notified the apartment that they towed it. Spoke to a lawyer that is theft they stole her car. This place won’t be open after I get done with them. Better business bureau fox 59 news count your days Indy tow you took the wrong car

One Star – Absolutely Terrible Service and Extremely Rude Staff

If I could give zero/negative stars, I would. This towing company is hands-down the worst I’ve ever dealt with. From start to finish, the experience was unprofessional, frustrating, and downright infuriating.

First of all, the staff was shockingly rude. I called to get some basic information and was met with immediate attitude, as if I was bothering them just by asking questions and that they could only help through “text messaging”. The person on the phone spoke to me with complete disrespect, cut me off multiple times, and clearly had no interest in helping or even pretending to be courteous.

When I arrived to retrieve my vehicle, things somehow got even worse. The employees were dismissive, short-tempered, and acted like they were doing me a favor by simply doing their job. One staff member even rolled their eyes and muttered something under their breath when I asked for clarification on the fees. Speaking of which – the charges were outrageous and completely unexplained. There was no transparency, no breakdown, just a demand for payment.

This company operates with zero regard for customer service and treats people with an appalling lack of professionalism. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone under any circumstances. If you’re already dealing with the stress of a towed vehicle, this place will only make things worse. Avoid at all costs and avoid parking where there are signs of this company.

Scammer towing service, they intentionally hold your vehicle longer to charge more fees. Never have i ever heard of a towing company charging extra if your vin number isn’t on your insurance card. Communication by text only, u can only get your vehicle by appointment arrive early and still can’t get the vehicle. This place surely need to be investigated. Reading the reviews so many others have the same experience..shame on indiana for allowing citizens to be taken advantage of only to grease their pockets.

My lord this is the worst and most unprofessional towing company i’ve ever had to deal with in my entire existence the experience was just awful the customer service was extremely terrible and in all this company needs to get sued into the ground the way they keep cars hostage just to make more money on late fees even though you bring all the paperwork they are requesting to get my vehicle back

They deserve 0 star review. They pick my car where no sign for no parking or only parking for resident. All this starts 7.30 in morning Stupid customer service they don’t answer ur calls its only text. Provide them everything they need proof of papers and still i get car back 2.30pm by paying $150. Even they have kind of stupid policy u even can’t check ur car for any damage at their property.

Have to do everything thru texts. They tow without warning to allow you to fix problem beforehand. Greedy, heartless businesses.

Horrible place. My husband was hit and our car wrecked, and the gave him 7 minutes in the pouring rain to grab what he could from our car by himself. What the hell is wrong with these people. They also wouldn’t allow more than 1 person at a time inside the reception area, so me and 2 other people were shivering standing outside in a storm with no dry spot on their porch. There was room, they just didn’t want to let us in. Horrible, horrible service.
