We had an awesome experience at Indy Auto Man. Every time I contacted Indy Auto, I received a call or message shortly after! Indy Auto was great to deal with. Tye and Noe went above and beyond to make the deal a reasonable and realistic deal and make sure everything was set for us when we showed up. We flew into Indianapolis from ND and Tye picked us up from the airport. We didn’t feel like we were pressured to purchase anything extra and we felt like we were truly appreciated! Tye called us the next day to make sure our 1,000 mile trip back went good, I’ve never had that happen. Most of the time when you drive off the lot you are forgotten about. Next time I’m in the market for a vehicle and they have what I’m looking for, I will definitely be back again. Even if we don’t purchase a vehicle I know it will be a great experience and we will be treated with courtesy and respect. I was in the market for a 2018 Maserati GranTurismo and there were only a handful in 500 mile radius. I took a drive from Chicago to Indy Auto. I met with Elijah who is a great communicator and no push sales approach. Elijah allowed me to play with the car for an hour and perform my own inspection independently. I know what type of car I was buying. Very relaxed allowed me to do my thing. The price we agreed was very fair and worked with my budget. No upsell. I did purchase a SVA contract which was the only thing that was costly but I needed to protect my investment . Wrote a check on Friday April 18 and the car arrived on my door step on Tuesday April 22nd. Yes they delivered the car for me! Wow!
Elijah kept me in the loop throughout the processes.

I would work with Elijah and Indy again if they have a specialty vehicle in inventory that I’m seeking.

I would like to give a big shout out to the whole drivetime team, including the one on shadeland my experience from the start was amazing . Drivetime took a chance on me when I was running out of luck looking for a car, after my car was a total lost. I first started off with wanting a Chrysler 200 but it was something that needed to be fixed before purchasing. Throughout the whole process, Richard and Ian were very communicative with me and kept me updated on the car, but unfortunately, the part that I needed would have took longer than me needing a car so I went with another alternative. Danielle and Richard were able to get me into a 2022 Nissan Altima(forgot to mention awd, with incredible collision features)I had already filled out the paperwork and test drive the car and within a few hours driving my new car away. I’m so thankful I was finally be able to get a car can’t thank them enough. The whole team was amazing and I definitely will be referring family and friends in the near future! 2nd time submitting this review. Someone at Ray Skillman changed my 1 star rating to a 4 star rating. I did NOT change my rating. They also removed my review.

Firstly, I just want to say the team that I worked with were very nice people and even had me come in to get a key fob at no cost to me.

That being said, let’s get into it. I traveled 2.5 hours to get the vehicle they said I was approved for, I was so excited. Bought the Dodge Caravan and brought it home where I immediately noticed the back bumper (one piece) had clearly been hit. I did not notice this during the visual inspection I did prior to leaving the lot. I did not buy the warranty at time of purchase. I own that piece.

Then when filling the gas tank, I can’t leave the hose in the gas tank and walk away from it because every few seconds, the hose will pop off so I have to stand there to be able to fill my tank. I did a google search and (not confirmed) it has something to do with the emissions system. Sounds expensive doesn’t it?

Then we took a vacation and as long as the van was moving, no problems but when we had to stop, the van would stop in traffic every time we stopped (safe?, no!) I took it to a local mechanic and…wait for it…it’s a transmission issue. The technician says it’s may cost between $6-7K to repair!! I’ve only made one car payment! I’ve owned it less than a month. Oh, Ray Skillman’s staff did offer to help diagnosis it prior to me taking it to a local shop (at my cost) if I would bring it in. I don’t feel safe in this vehicle so there is no way I’m traveling 2.5 hours to have it checked out.

Unfortunately, I can’t, in good conscience, recommend this dealership, even though I enjoyed my interactions with the staff. I would feel horrible if someone else bought into a similar substandard vehicle based on my recommendation.

This was my first car buying experience but one of many for my partner. We were both pleasantly surprised at how smooth the process was. Rodrigo played a huge part in that! He was easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and real – something most salesmen aren’t. Ray Skillman Hyundai service department is very frustrating to deal with. I have a 2024 Tuson I bought from Ray Skillman, in just over a year I had to take it in due to a loud noise when hitting bumps, It turned out to be a shock that went bad so they send me back home. Telling me they would have to order a shock had to come back in a week later to have the shock installed. Yesterday I called their service department and told them the air conditioning had stopped working. They told me to bring it in today and I live an hour away from them. I drive all the way there. Sit in there show room for two hours waiting for them to come out and tell me that their Freon machine does not work., And that I will have to come back next week so they can put it on the machine and tell me what’s wrong then they will then order the part and I’ll have to come back again to hopefully install the part. This makes three trips to get one problem solved. their service. Staff is very polite, but their service itself is very frustrating.. Every time I have went in there, they send me back home to tell me to come back in a week or two to hopefully get the problem fixed. Sometimes it takes three trips, possibly four trips to get anything done..

is very frustrating to deal with. I don’t think my next car will come from Ray Skillman .

Once we arrived, the entire process took less than 45 minutes. I bought a my 2019 VW Golf R from here 2 weeks ago and it was hands down the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. My salesman Paul was awesome to work with and did a fantastic job going through the process with me. If I could buy every car for the rest of my life off of him I most definitely would! Really impressed with how good they are to there customers. First of all I just went through a horrible experience with another dealer in town that sold me a lemon constant expensive repairs then after the heat went out I had, had my final straw. We were able to go here even w the other car showing as an open loan on credit report and were able to get exactly what we were looking for. And I did have a little issue with insurance but Carmen was amazing and was able to come through in the stretch and get us hooked up w insurance which even ended up being cheaper monthly. And believe me our credit has been through a lot a couple other places we looked gave us options of older cars w high mileage and had the nerve to over charge. Rightway is definitely the place to go if you need a good vehicle and your credits not perfect they will try there best to get you what you want and need. This is my favorite place I’ve ever purchased a vehicle.

2025 GMC Sierra 1500 – Scheduled a tire rotation and oil change. The advisor Raymond was very nice and great to work with. The lady at the front desk was kind and very sweet when paying for the service. I left thinking everything was fine, went to leave work to find oil in front of my vehicle. I immediately called the service department and told them what happened. I was told that someone would come to my work to look at it and was hung up on. I called back asking to speak with the manager which took several calls. When I finally did I was told they would be there right away to look at, 30+ mins later (I work 9 mins away) someone finally showed up. Braden and the technician he brought with him was very nice and helpful and made sure they tightened the oil filter correctly that the last technician was incapable of doing and refilled the quart of oil I had lost. Thankfully I saw the oil before getting in and driving. I asked for a full refund and was told by management they would drop the check off to my work in the morning. Almost 1:00pm and no check, I called and a nice lady name Christa told me she would drop it off ASAP and was here within 10 mins. If you want a dealership to possibly blow the motor in your vehicle because they can’t do a simple oil change, or enjoy poor customer service (minus the few mentioned above) then this is your dealership. If I could give negative stars I would.

I thought I would have been inside the dealership for hours trying to get financed, but I was pleasantly surprised to be approved prior to my arrival and the vehicle that I was approved for was better than I thought I would drive. I was in and out within 2 hours!!! I thought with my current credit score and other factors the best I would be able to afford would be a pre owned used vehicle. To my surprise and delight I drove away in. 2025 model. John Moss was great and Gregory in Finance was very good at allowing me time to fully understand everything and be completely comfortable with the decision. Don’t buy a car from this place. Bought this car two months ago and just had to replace all the tires because their service department “doesn’t do tires”. It’s like they didn’t even look at the car before they sold it to me. So many computer issues. Not to mention $640 a month for a 2006 with 200,000+ miles on it. 18 grand for a car people are selling on marketplace for 3,000. Took advantage of a young first time buyer and didn’t tell me it was that much til I put the down payment down and started to sign paperwork. Called and complained about my issues and they make it seem like I’m the problem. Do yourself a favor and don’t get stuck in a lease with a pos car and a pos place. I will continue to call when I have issues and hold them accountable so they better get used to me. Could get a brand new 2015 or newer for less than I pay for a 2006. All they care about is making a quick buck. Do yourself a favor and don’t even look at this place! Also they are all owned separately and have no connection to the other dealerships with the same name around Indy… just thought that was weird.

I strongly advise against purchasing a vehicle from Joe’s Auto Sales. Even if you’re in urgent need of a car, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Right after we purchased our vehicle—and before we could even drive off the lot—we experienced an issue that required us to schedule a repair at their so-called “service center.” At the time of purchase, we were promised four new tires. Not only did we never receive them, but we had to replace them ourselves, out of pocket, with no reimbursement.

Their handling of payments is just as frustrating. If you’re a few days behind—even after communicating with them—they will call multiple times a day and remotely disable your vehicle after just five days late. This has happened to us more than once, despite maintaining communication. We have never gone passed one week late, but have had the vehicle disabled on multiple occasions.

On top of that, the vehicle has had multiple issues since day one. Their service center expects you to drop the car off for an entire day, which isn’t always possible, and frankly, I have little confidence that the problems are being fixed properly.

I deeply regret doing business with Joe’s Auto Sales. The stress, inconvenience, and lack of integrity make this one of the worst purchasing experiences I’ve ever had.
