Update: The service was very fast. One day after biometric, I got a notification from Lawfully app that my biometric was received. I had biometric appointments for fingerprints, signature, and photo for 485/765 green card/EAD. The whole procedure was very smooth and very fast. The lady who helped with biometrics provided great instructions that was easy to follow for me. She also knew Spanish and helped one of the people with translation. The other lady who gave appointment numbers also patiently answered my questions. The other two guys in front of the USCIS were helpful with their instructions regarding checking into the building. The security woman at the first floor was very nice and greeted people warmly and provided instructions on finding the way to the USCIS. The building was very clean and it has drop off location for Uber/Lyft.

I arrived 20 minutes early for my biometrics appointment scheduled at 1pm and by 12:55pm I was already done. The staff at this place work fast and efficient; from the security officers to the biometrics personnel. Be sure to take the 3-page appointment notice with you and have the 3rd page (AIW or applicant information worksheet) filled out completely already prior to your appointment day, plus your photo ID of course and you're good to go. The workers in this place are welcoming, proactively helpful, and friendly; from the lobby personnel downstairs to the staff upstairs.
Today is the first time I came to USCIS office to provide service in Indianapolis located at 1099 N Meridian Street, 10th floor. From the entrance guard to the office staff working there I could see 3 out of 4 are rude and dismissive. They definitely don’t love their job. Only one guard was trying to help but he knows nothing about how things work in the office and he just has to ask the rest of the 3 other staff. The main guard is the worse!! Need to replace him ASAP!! Well, very sad….. how intimidatingly they treat people who are seeking for citizenship. All the staff that I could see look like they had been once had to apply for citizenship as well. They should have worked as interns at the banks first before they work at USCIS
Honestamente mi cita fue hace dos semanas nunca pensé que fueran a ser tan amables ,eficientes y profesionales ,no tarde ni 10 minutos ,el personal fue super atento
We keep having people come to our office for their immigration meetings, the only thing it has on their paperwork for a location is "sub office in Indianapolis". No address. We have called this office so many times and no one has ever heard our issue and changed things. An address needs to be on their paperwork. We get individuals a few times a week. Something needs to be done so they are informed properly of the correct location for their hearings. It is a huge disservice for the ones who think they are on time to a hearing just to find out they need to drive 20 more minutes to the correct location. This is one of many examples where our system is designed to help people fail. Do better.
I had my citizenship interview yesterday and passed it! Thank you to Officer Stevens. He is super nice! Security Guard is very chatty and had to higher their voice most of the time so people can hear them. I dont see any problem with that.. Checked in is very nice too. Even ask me if I passed and congratulate me as well.. All in all experience is super smooth.. Listen carefully and follow instructions so you wont get yelled at. Rules and instructions are there for your own good..
