My entire process with the office was wonderful! I had to apply for pathway to Citizenship through marriage. As a newly wed I was a bit nervous of the process, but Laura was wonderful at easing my nerves and explaining the entire process. The official at USCIS knew my lawyer’s work, Maize and mentioned that all her work is always thorough and she always gets her cases ready. I was approved on the spot and was later called by the office to give me the good news. Super excited to continue working with them, and start this new journey with my family.

They never return the call back been calling for 5 days and those 5 days they’ve told me they will return the call back and never do! I only called because everyone that I talked to recommended them because they are the "best" but honestly I do not recommend them at all!! If you want to waste your time on waiting for days for a call back then go ahead but honestly it’s just horrible. Wish I could get my $500 back!

My experience with this immigration law firm was decent overall. The attorneys and paralegals were kind, patient, and understanding, especially toward frustrated clients, which I truly appreciated. However, I did feel that the team was a bit overwhelmed — it seemed like they had too many cases to handle at once. Communication was fair, but it could have been more organized and consistent. I honestly believe my case could have had a better outcome if there had been more structure and follow-through from the attorney’s side. Everyone was professional and respectful, but I think the firm would really benefit from hiring additional staff to manage the heavy workload and improve client communication. Honest review on their efforts, not measuring based on outcome. Can't speak about their services regarding immigration, but I had my divorce/child custody dispute with Lyndon Small and then after he left the firm with Stephen Gottlieb. I spent $38k at this firm. Lyndon Small was extremely communicative and responsive, and well spoken in writing. At my hearings, he barely spoke up for me, and was very submissive which was terrible for me regarding my opposing counsel's aggressive attorney. The opposing counsel ran the show, and my attorney hid behind me and asked weak questions to my ex, which baffled me. I might as well have entered on my own. After he left the firm, I was transferred to Eugene, the owner. He is great at talking a big game and fear-mongering you during consultation. A few weeks later he transferred me to work with the new incomer Stephen Gottlieb, an older quiet gentleman, so I never got to see Eugene's actual work/efforts. Stephen Gottlieb hardly speaks at all when you talk to him over the phone/email. Gives 1-2 sentences, and really makes you feel like you called the wrong number. This translated into his efforts- the effort was NOT there at all, and often times I'd have to call/email about one particular thing several times to ask for it to get done. Imagine begging your attorney to do something for you as if you don't pay them? Money is one thing — but when the stakes our your children? There was times where he would "shrug" his shoulders at my issue and mumble: "I'll see what I can think of". It got to the point where I would consult with other attorneys and come back and tell Stephen to do what they advised me; "File a notice to inform the Judge about the current situation so I don't get held for contempt" instead of just sitting their and asking me to stand on my head to follow the Judge's order, or "go to my ex's criminal court hearing to speak to the Judge about not lifting the no-contact order" instead of just never mentioning that you could DO that to help my case. He did end up doing these things, but only after I come up with the idea and TELL him to. You go to an attorney to advise YOU, not brainstorm and advise THEM. I shouldn't have to do that. You should have the answers and interest on how to best bolster my case. He also barely whispered throughout my hearing, while again my ex's attorney ran the show. There were SO many points I expected my attorney to mention, but he did the bare bare minimum, while my ex's attorney had his monologue. Attorneys can't guarantee outcomes, but if you can't SPEAK UP at court and don't fight for my kids as if they were YOURS, don't take people's money and get out of the field. There were some careless admin mistakes as well in which I was sent docs that DID not belong to my case. 0 stars.

Having reviewed the available feedback, my experience with the firm has diverged significantly from the reported experiences. Despite repeated attempts to obtain updates on my case, communication has been limited. I have only spoken with my assigned attorney once, and a face-to-face meeting has not been arranged. After a year, there has been no discernible progress, and the status of my case remains uncertain. Regrettably, I am dissatisfied with the firm's services, as I feel unsupported and inadequately represented.

It was frustrating. I've heard about the professionalism of Attorney Culvell, but I can't say the same about his assistant Elba Chirinos. From the start, she talked about how much she knows and that she's not a lawyer because she couldn't study. Then she made you think your case was good and that the lawyer would most likely take it. She even gave you some advice, provided the costs, and you left there with hope. A week passes since that initial consultation, which isn't free, they don't call you back, and when you finally contact them, they say they can't take your case because it's too difficult! And on top of that, they refer you to another, much more expensive firm. In short: your money and time were wasted. How can I recommend a lawyer whose clients have to go through a biased intermediary like this assistant who didn't even have the courtesy to call and tell us they wouldn't take our case? I don't think the lawyer is aware of this woman's discriminatory practices.

Unhelpful, my mom had a question about her case so she called their office and they told her she needed to pay $60 so they could answer the phone next time. Honestly money hungry and don’t care about their clients. Better off somewhere else.

Very VERY disappointed I had a case open back in 2019 a few Months into working with them They dropped My case told me they could no longer take my case and now 2024 that I changed to a new lawyer and group they contacted my new lawyers office to let them know that we still owed them $$$ when they never once told me why they dropped my case nor that I had an outstanding payment yet 5 yrs later they contact my new lawyer who had taken very good care of us they are claiming money from 2019 they never gave us explanation on why they dropped my case and about no payments! They make you change lawyers and then they try to take credit for work they never did I guess they charge you for nothing!

I would not recommend John. Our original attorney was Megan, but she left the practice (she was definitely better at responding). We called his office and emailed him, but he never responded to my emails in regard to our case. After reading "john's response" I've reached out to your email 3 times.
