LD Alterations came highly recommended by several people. I had my wedding dress altered for my August 2025 wedding and my maid of honor, my groom, and all four groomsmen had their outfits altered by LD Alterations for the wedding! LD Alterations did a fantastic job and the prices are incredibly reasonable. If you need alterations on wedding dresses, men's suits, formal dresses, or everyday clothing this is the place to go. They do it all. When I received my wedding dress from the bridal shop it was massive on me and did not fit at all. Mina took extra care to ensure the dress fit me like a glove! She worked quickly but with careful expertise. She did a bustle for the dress' train and it was done so perfectly! The dress looked gorgeous for the reception and it truly exceeded my expectations. The groomsmen suits turned out wonderful and appeared tailor-made. The groom, Zach, and my maid of honor Alison have been going to LD Alterations for years and their suit and dress fit them just right. Mina did such amazing work for 7 outfits in two months! Thank you LD Alterations! You made my bridal party and I shine on the wedding day!

She did such an amazing job with my wedding dress! I was so nervous trusting someone with such an expensive dress but she made it fit to my body perfectly and got the hem just right so I wasn’t tripping. She also hemmed my mom’s dress perfectly! She did such a beautiful job with my wedding dress! Her prices were super reasonable and the final dress after she altered it fit me like a glove. She even added a bustle on the back for me! The alterations were also very quick. I will be back to get more dresses altered in the future and highly recommend LD!!

I went to LD in early January when I first started my 12-week long wedding planning extravaganza. I brought in my Grandma’s dress that she had preserved after her wedding in 1960, and I crossed my fingers that LD would be able to work her magic that I read about in other reviews, because the dress was waaay too small for me. I couldn’t even get it zipped up when I first brought it in (see first photo)! Within 3 weeks, for a very reasonable price, she managed to make it bigger using fabric from detached sleeves that came with the dress, and without needing to add a corset back. When I tried on the dress again, it zipped up! Cue the excitement!!! I appreciated her step-by-step method of altering the dress; rather than immediately adding a corset back and changing the entire look from the original, she only made small, necessary adjustments and asked me to come back in to see if anything else needed to be done before she made bigger changes. After my second visit when the dress actually zipped all the way up, it was only a matter of minor fixes to perfect the fit of the dress, which she was able to complete in 2 weeks. When all was said and done, I had the finished dress in my hands 5 weeks after my first visit to LD, and I know she would’ve been willing and able to do that even faster if I had less time. Before I took it home, she reminded me that I could come in any time at no extra cost If there were any emergencies, even if that meant coming in the day of/day before if a zipper broke or some other mishap occurred. She said she prioritizes brides’ dresses being perfect for the wedding, and she meant it. Thankfully, I didn’t need anything else done to the dress after I took it home in February, but I felt so relaxed knowing that was an option just in case. Additionally, 6 days before the wedding, I brought my husband’s suit pants to her for tailoring, and 2 days later, they fit him perfectly. Not only is LD extremely detailed and precise with her work, she is also kind, respectful, understanding, reassuring, and an overall wonderful person. I will be coming to her any time I need alterations in the future, and I highly recommend her to anyone else that needs alterations - big or small. Thank you, LD, for making my dress fit perfectly! I felt like a princess on my wedding day because of your work!

I trusted them with my wedding dress, which was not an easy dress to alter! She did amazing with it for a VERY reasonable price. I am so glad I found her and would recommend anyone to trust them with alterations for your big day and beyond.

My first time at LD alterations and I can say the service is great, she is fast, friendly and worked with my budget. I had my wedding gown adjusted at the hips and hands and it came out perfectly well. I had a dinner dress which was way bigger than me and I wanted it really fitted, she did a good job at giving me exactly what I wanted. I will definately return. Great experience!
