I just wanna give a BIG shout out to Extra Space Storage. I was in a really bad situation on Saturday after hours and I googled stores near my location. Therefore, Extra space storage was the 2nd on the list and I followed my first mind and gave them a call. The customers service I received on Saturday was absolutely outstanding. The units are clean, well kept and very spacious and don’t forget reasonable. Also, Tyler is a very pleasant soul he listened to my issues and did want needed to be done. Thanks again world for still having compassionate, and customer friendly people in the world of 2024.

I signed up online was told I would have instant access. Showed up and the unit was locked. All units were locked, so no one has instant access unless you are there during office hours. After calling customer service and being transferred 3 times and waiting 30 minutes, I was told some one would call me within 20 minutes. After 4 hours I received a text, not a call, a text with no apologies no sorry we wasted half your day, all the text said was that the unit is now unlocked. Also they have weird slides on units that only takes one kind of lock, which they leave for you and then charge you for. Place had good price until you add sign up fee which why there is a fee for me to input my own information who knows? Also insurance fee, that can’t be waived. So since I signed up for 4 months I’ll stay but then will go somewhere else with better customer service.

When I first rented the 10×10 unit it was $87 per month. The price steadily went up what seemed like almost monthly. It wasn’t, but seemed like it. 2 and a half years later I couldn’t deal with it anymore. The increase was so often I decided to take my stuff elsewhere. My final payment was $196.00. That’s well over twice as much in 2 1/2 years. That’s not inflation, that’s robbery. I believe they know it’s a pain moving all your stuff so most people just pay the increase. I did for quite some time but that’s ridiculous. And when I moved out my mover pointed out the mouse or rat droppings around the unit. So it sounds like I might have a surprise or two when I unpack. Do not fall for these predators. Go somewhere else where you have a shot at not getting robbed. Run!! You’ve been warned.

I booked a unit online. Very simple, not a lot of questions or windows to go to.
Then when I arrived a very nice young man Keith greeted. I found I had to change units as my perception of size was wrong. He found me another unit I viewed paid the difference and was moved in with in a hour.

This is a great facility and the staff is equally great. Keith the manager is great and is very knowledgeable and considerate of people.

Kelly and Stephanie were fantastic with helping me figure out a few units for our staging stuff and they were patient with me while I flip flopped back and forth lol. Units were all nice and clean and the air conditioning was nice and cool!

This storage facility is very convenient to my home and has great hours. I have found the staff incredibly helpful, Stephanie and Kelley are an absolute delight to work with. The facility is always clean and the lighting is great. I have used several storage facilities over the years and this so far has been the best one.

If you want rat piss and shit all over your things, go ahead and rent a unit from these people. I come back to my storage unit with months worth of infestation and the office dont even care. They tell u to file a claim but we all know how that works out, i did that and heard from no one. They increased the prices twice in one year and for what? For me to come and see this? This is my last month here, definitely going to stop renting from here again

I recently called in and spoke with Stephanie and Kelley – both were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all of my many questions and walked me through everything. I’ve been so anxious about our upcoming move but they’ve really taken a huge weight off my shoulders! Highly recommend

We had to come down here because our storage is automated. We were told that we needed to talk to someone face to face to change some things on our account. Rachelle was so wonderful and friendly. She helped us quickly and efficiently. We left the office and realized our car wouldn’t start. We tried to jump it with our little portable jumper, and it didn’t work. She came out and hooked us up to her own car. We sat out there talking and waiting. It still didn’t work, so we all started problem solving. Rachelle definitely went above and beyond for strangers. We finally, mostly with her help, got our car started. I can not recommend her enough. She really was wonderful. Thank you, Rachelle!

Been a customer since 2023

Long time renter of a climate controlled unit here but recently moved items to a local competitor; a 10×15 climate controlled unit for 1/4th the price. Condition of the facilities well below industry standards and local competition. Dirty facility with poorly functioning elevators and small number of carts. Attitude of the staff is unprofessional and at times angry/combative. And the 16% to 20% rental increases imposed on loyal long time customers is a terrible business decision, especially given they are basically giving units away online to new customers.

Rochelle at public storage is so awesome. Customer since last year. Awesome place, always professional and Ms. Rochelle is always very helpful and has a upbeat attitude. Ty guys for a great experience.

I’m a new client. I’ve been at this unit for about three months. And on the fourth month, they wrongfully overcharged me. I spoke with the manager on Tuesday. It’s been three days and nothing has been changed. No one is never in the office. The manager is in the office for like an hour and then she’s gone for the rest of the day. No one answers the phone. The service sucks and as quick as fast and I need to be monitor and watch because no one is doing their job. They’re literally stealing company money. I’m going back up there today to hopefully solve this issue after it’s been four days of me Not getting an update on my payment now frustrated and I hope that this situation doesn’t stress me Out. Long story short, but this story you need to be downtown it is trash ghetto no professional service at all. I hate it here.

I don’t know why or how, I called the location before picking up a storage unit I won at an auction I even told her I was on my way she wasn’t there so I called and left a voice mail never heard from the manager , resulting in a suspension ….makes no sense she sounded annoyed I even offered to come back other day at her earlier convenience….weird but noted I won’t do business here . Never had an issue I worked with so many public storage locations and they were all been super amazing and I pay , clean them and be on my way….this one tho….mmm

Just had a great experience speaking with the property manager Rachelle. I’m an existing customer at a different facility in a neighboring town that she oversees as well. I had multiple questions about rates and terms, a possible unit transfer, etc. The call was lengthy and involved, and Rachelle was patient, professional, and overall just very helpful. Great customer service and a positive interaction, thank you!

I went in not having a clue what I needed in regards to space, and let’s be honest, was very up in arms about leaving my belongings somewhere. It wasn’t even 2 minutes after walking in the door and I was at ease. Katie is such a delight, so friendly, knowledgeable about her units and funny too. She helped me with my endless list of questions and concerns and really put my mind to rest. We may be best friends now! LoL! I highly recommend!!!

Well, I haven’t rented a storage, but, was looking for information. Let me say that the young lady in the office that day was so helpful and informative, that I wanted to stop and get my stuff and move immediately, . She was happy and fun and made my day the best I’d had in a while, I think her name was Katie. So thank you and bless you !!!☺️

Property Manager is great to work with but seems to be hampered by out of touch corporate policies and decision makers.
There really needs to be better lighting in the RV storage area, or at least reflectors, on the sides of the garage door openings and the support poles. At the very least I should be allowed to put in my own lighting that uses the existing electrical outlets. Making do with battery powered solutions will be a constant headache for someone who has vehicles that are used daily.
Deprioritizing fixing an electrical outlet inside a storage unit that fried one of my appliances, is not good customer service.

I found this facility to be exactly what I was looking for. The facilities are well maintained The location is very convenient and easy to get to. Also, “Katie” was very approachable and friendly. She seems to really enjoy working there. I highly recommend this for your storage needs.

Love this facility always clean and never, had problems with people bothering any of my stuff. I feel it’s a very secure storage place. Love the young lady Ms Katie she is a real sweetheart. I would definitely give her a 10/10.

Quick and easy move in! I needed a place in an emergency to store my entire home. Move out a month later and just as quick and easy. 4 stars because I was never given a gate code and I had to call 3 separate times to get it.

Facility was always clean and accessible. I moved out because my rent was raised without notification. It was not the first time that happened. I found a unit twice as large, closer to my home, and less expensive than what SOA was charging me for a smaller unit. I also did not appreciate paying $60 more than a new customer for the same space. After over 10 years as their customer, I should have been the one receiving the discount.

I have been storing my personal belongings for long time and I have only had one incident where someone tried to drill out my lock but failed. Management contacted me to let me know about it and they added a lock to help prevent the person trying again, instead of one lock they would have to go through two locks. I was met at my unit and the old lock had to be cut off and I was there with one to replace it. I like the company and the friendly management and the team. I am in good hands.

It would be nice to have a map of the inside of the building available to renters. My unit happens to be at the dark end of a dark dead end corridor. I’ve found it twice and still not certain of the most expedient way to get to it. Signs as posted are not helpful. Patience wears thin when pushing a heavy cart around looking for my unit.

I have rented here in the past and the facility is always well kept, bathrooms are always clean and well stocked, and security is tight. They have a ton of climate controlled units where you can even drive your vehicle into/through the middle of the building (interior) for easier loading and unloading should you choose to rent climate controlled spaces. They also have the best carts, sturdy enough to handle a 600lb arcade cabinet. Oh and all the indoor units are individually alarmed! (I can’t attest to the drive up units as I have only ever rented climate controlled units)

I’ve had nothing but a positive experience, both with the facility and customer service. I’d recommend SofA to anyone.

Called & moved in same day. Simple & easy. Has a code to get in the facility grounds, then another to get into the inner building. My 26’ Box truck fit in the doors no problem. I got an interior 10×30 climate controlled unit with drive up access. Well worth it with the zero degree Fahrenheit evening we unloaded. Convenient location… would use this place again

Brookville Self Storage is the cleanest most reliable and friendly self storage I have used. I have used them three times. I am in the process of selling my home. In order to declutter my home for showings I rented a unit and took advantage of one month free. Sabrina called me when she saw that I rented a unit and welcomed me back as well as walked me through their new system. Sabrina is a total ROCK STAR!!!!

Sabrina helped me get into 2 units next to each other when I was in a jam in 2019 and had to find somewhere quickly to move my stuff. Kelly listened and always answered very promptly when I had questions. At that time, they had a truck I was able to utilize, too. I’d never have been able to do it without these 2 amazing women. Love a company with dedicated employees.

In the middle of a house move last summer, I realized I was going to need a storage unit. I was able to call Brookville Road Self Storage and get a unit immediately. The property manager definitely listened to me on size and what I might need to store before my move was over. She recommended the perfect unit — not too big, but not to small, and everything fit. The unit was very clean. In fact, when I emptied out the storage unit several months later, there were no insects or any type of pests in the unit or apparent on my belongings. I also felt safe at the unit facility. It has cameras, bright lighting and security gates with a well-maintained fence. In fact, the entire facility is well maintained. And the customer service (thank you, Sabrina!) was 5-star all the way. I would highly recommend this facility. Great experience.

I have had a unit here for over two years now and it’s been a great experience. Sabrina is amazing, very helpful and always goes above and beyond. I’ve never had any issues with Brookville storage mainly because of Sabrina. Sabrina does her job very well. She is kind, caring, understanding and she keeps it professional.

Wow decided to rent a storage unit at this place only a few hours in a can’t access anything and now 4 people have pretty much lied to me every person tells me something different and there gate says certain hours the kiosk says different gate hours and I got told two othe gate hours 3 out of the 4 people said they was going to have someone call me I paid for a 2 1/2 hour headache horrible service

This place has been more than helpful. I got sick and they work with me. My husband had a stroke and they worked with me to make sure I didn’t lose my stuff. They really are amazing especially Nikki she’s extremely helpful

This storage facility is A1. Very satisfied by the entire process from beginning to online bill paying, to adequate space at a reasonably low price, convenience of access and safety of stored belongings.

I was in shock/clueless on how & what to do??
I found this place online, it was very close to my new house and I was able to rent and complete everything at once right from my computer made it very easy!
Once I got there I was amazed on how Clean and Well kept this property was.
I’ve seen/been to friends storage units before on Madison and they were run-down creepy looking.
But this place was all shinny and brand new looking-feeling.

I loved that it was secluded being at the end of a Dead End street, and the fact the rear of property faced the hiway and heavy traffic so I got that feeling all eyes were on this place 24/7! Along with their security system.

The only trouble I had just a little was trying to figure out the new locks that came with my unit. They were kinda tricky? But I am old and figured it was prob just me, lol.

Also, I was strapped on cash at the time moving like this all sudden and Lynhurst Storage had a GREAT deal going on for %50 off move-in on new rentals. That really helped me out quite a bit.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone out looking for nice, quality, and safe self storage units.

The process of giving up a storage unit at in her story she’s been very convenient they are nice people they work with you the stuff is very safe there it’s clean and affordable

It’s a very nice clean and secure place with plenty of room to stack your important as well as extra things even enough room for car storage. The locking mechanism on the door is amazing not to mention their customer service especially the lovely Sabrina who is very nice and professional. If I have ever had an issue she can always walk me through it and set my mind at eaze and put any worries to rest!! I recommend Lynhurst Self Storage to anyone searching for the same services. I will definitely be a long time customer with them.

I’ve been very happy with my storage here in Indy since last Summer. Niki & staff have been very helpful. I definitely recommend for short or long-term storage needs. I never had any issues while I rented there. I will say this, if you haven’t been in your storage unit for while, be sure to shake boxes before you move them. I always have jump scares with spiders lurking, hahaha.
