Great shop!! I recently upgraded into the Canon RF series so I had an older model Canon body and lenses I wanted to sell without going through the hassle of eBay or Facebook Marketplace. I quoted multiple online buyers(Adorama, KEH, MPB, and Roberts) and Roberts was the highest, AND closest distance to me. I was afraid of shipping a box full of lenses and my camera, so I made the 2 hour drive from Fort Wayne to the store instead. I walked in with 2 boxes in hand and was greeted right away and shown where to go. I answered a few quick questions(name, email, etc…) and about 10 minutes later they had inspected my items and handed me a check! I was quoted $1435 online, and after inspection I was given a $1525 check, $90 more than I expected! They even offer in-store credit if you would prefer and that was $1610 in my case. Everybody I interacted with was very friendly, and they were quick to look over my items and offer a great price. The store itself has a used section to the right, and a new section straight ahead when you enter the store. Everything from lenses, bodies, bags, tripods, filters, flash, and printing services. Parking is directly across the street with signs for "Roberts Camera Parking Only". I recommend getting an online quote before bringing in gear to sell just to speed up the process a bit, and highly recommend checking the store out!

I recently have had the itch to get back into film photography and didn't quite know where to begin (the only experience I had was in my undergraduate photography class) and I was excited to see this shop was nearby. The crew at Roberts was extremely helpful in getting me started, even asking about my film preferences to help me decide. Upon arriving home and testing out my new camera, I discovered that the one I had purchased was damaged. It was grabbed from the back, so maybe it had not been tested/cleaned? My boyfriend took it in for me, and they went above and beyond to help get me a well functioning camera. I also appreciate all of the used gear available as I always try to buy used/local instead of new/online. The shop is huge, clean, and full of kind folks willing to help! I look forward to continuing to visit this store. Thank you all for a wonderful experience!

There are not enough superlatives to describe the Roberts experience. It's a veritable oasis of all things photography and videography–for everyone from beginners to sages in this space. I'm among the novices–and have been amazed by the level of help as well as dignity preserved for those of us fumbling our way through the weeds of settings, numbers, and bewildering brands and model numbers. The educational arm is outstanding and if you haven't taken a class yet, don't hesitate to sign up! The brands seem to get equal treatment and staff will guide you depending upon your leanings and needs. I'm still figuring that out & feel the staff on both the new and used sides listens well and provides expert guidance dependent upon you–not sales goals. That makes one want to support Roberts even more. And by supporting our local photography experts, we benefit. There are too many quiet intangibles to list–the education on the shop floor, interacting with product and those who've used those products professionally, and all the unheralded deeds to support your purchases that an online retailer or big box store never can offer. Roberts is an Indy icon, a well-managed family business that supports the community, and one business we as a community should enthusiastically support!

I’ve been to camera stores all across the country and just visited B&H photo in NYC but I have to say Roberts takes the cake. Roberts is a special place to our family I know most of the employees by name and they’ve all taken a real interest in my wife and I’s creative business. It’s enabled them to give extremely tailored advice. I’m a frequent customer but finally writing my review to rave about my customer service experience with Roxanne. During a discussion about price matching Roxanne was kind and engaging and took care of me in the best way possible. I love Roberts and would recommend them to anyone!!

So I have been working with Roberts Camera for around a year now, and I only use them to order anything photography related. For context, I am a full time student as well as faculty at a university, and I met John Scott during an SPE conference. He was an amazing person to meet, and he got me in contact with my representative, Nick Provost. I drove around 3 hours today to make another purchase and to meet Nick in person, as all of our interactions have been absolutely amazing. Not only is he nice and professional, but he is also extremely honest. If I tell him what I am looking to do or possibly need, he will let me know all of the different options I have to pursue my creative goals. He always gives me a few different ways to go about everything with my budget in mind. While I can receive an education discount through many other vendors, such as B&H, I honestly don’t think I would ever order from a big corporation again. This level of expertise, knowledge, and trustworthiness the employees exhibit is something that is extremely hard to find in the customer service industry. I have recommended Roberts Camera to any of my colleagues, fellow students, and other photographers. I will continue to recommend them to everyone I come across!

Called ahead to make sure they could get the screen. 2 days later dropped off the phone and it was fixed in about 20 minutes.

Great store for electronics, but the fact that you can't contact the store at all to find out about stock means they often fail to be a better option than other, online retailers. As an example I visited to buy some 3D printer filament and their shelves had been cleaned out. Waste of a trip. Now I have no way of finding out when they are stocked back up, so I will just order online from somewhere else.

I had an awesome experience at Disc Replay! They had a huge selection of games and consoles, and just walking through the store brought back so many nostalgic memories. I was especially excited to see classics like Duke Nukem 3D and Syphon Filter—it instantly took me back to the games I used to love playing. This store manager has the worst customer service I have ever seen! I highly recommend you do not go to this disc replay! They are rude and pick and choose who they give the "deals" too! Because I was buying something for a friend and not myself he stated I couldn’t use the coupon! Me and my friends shop for each other’s collections all the time! I am disgusted by the way we were treated. Not to mention it was going to be about $200 bucks we were spending! Way to make collection hunting not fun! Please give no support to these unkind humans!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, the store was disgusting and smelled terrible. Instead of helping or cleaning the workers were just playing around behind the counter! I tried to give no stars but it made me give at least 1!!!!!

Great experience selling. I was able to drop off a large box of video games and electronics and they called me when they had finished testing and pricing. I was very happy with the price I received and staff was polite and knowledgeable. Overall a cool little store. I stopped in to sell but I’m sure I’ll be back for Christmas presents. Came in looking for a starter camera, left with the perfect one and more knowledge of cameras than I walked in with. Jake was fantastic in helping me find what I needed. Was very patient with all my questions as a complete beginner, and found what I NEEDED, me personally as an individual. I've researched for days after my purchase to see if there were any upgrades and downgrades to what I'd gotten but nope. I told him what I was photographing and he understood what I needed. I purchased a NIKON MB-D18 multipower battery pack for my camera. The condition was better than the rating, the shipping was fast, and the price was fair. My only complaint was that the battery trays needed to make the battery pack work were not included, which wasn't mentioned in the description. I was able to locate the two I needed on another site.

UPP did a great job – UPS, not so much. 2nd day Air delivery was sorted to the wrong city, then no updates for days, then the package arrived 1 day into our vacation which was delayed by a day. I would have been better off driving to Illinois from South Florida, and flying back in time for my vacation start.

Cannot gush about this store more. Was in Indi for one day, and my phone broke in the morning. Had to wait for a bit before a rep came over, but that's expected as I didnt have an appointment. All the techs around me were so helpful to their people and really created a relaxed, non-judgemental atmosphere. The tech who helped me was right to the point and completely understanding, and they got my phone fixed same day! I am so thankful for the people in this store!

The customer service from the check in lady was the worst ever. She had no idea what she was talking about when I was bringing my phone in for a scheduled repair. Then said I'm committing "Insurance Fraud" for adding apple care to my phone, which was suggested by another employee during my previous day just a few days earlier. The rest of the staff where very nice and competent. Apple needs to check into their employees customer service skills before hiring them.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I was treated poorly from start to finish. I waited over an hour and a half just to be acknowledged. I couldn’t schedule an appointment because my phone was destroyed — something completely out of my control. After another hour of being bounced around, they admitted they didn’t even have a replacement phone in stock. Instead of offering a real solution, they tried to hand me a beat-up, outdated iPhone 13 loaner while I own an iPhone 17 Pro Max. That is insulting. As an AppleCare+ customer, I expected professionalism and basic respect. What I got was dismissive staff, zero urgency, and a total lack of accountability. My time was wasted, my problem wasn’t solved, and I was made to feel like an inconvenience instead of a paying customer. This store should be embarrassed. Absolutely unacceptable.

What’s the point of appointment? We (son,husband and me) had a scheduled appointment at 3:45 PM and arrived early at 3:00 PM today 12/14/25 . I was told I couldn’t be seen more than 10 minutes before my appointment time, which was understandable. We spent some time in the store and checked in at 3:35 PM as instructed. After checking in, we were asked to sit and told that someone would be with us shortly. Unfortunately, we waited until 4:01 PM and no one ever came to assist us. I eventually had to go back to the check-in desk to ask for our appointment to be canceled because we couldn’t wait any longer. This was especially disappointing because this is the second time in the last six months we’ve had the same experience with scheduled appointments. What made it worse was that there was no apology—our appointment was simply canceled, and we were asked if we wanted to reschedule. What we noticed person without an appointment got an help but we didn’t 🙃 Scheduled appointments should be respected, and at the very least, customers should be acknowledged if there is a delay. This experience fell well below expectations.

I had a very frustrating experience with Apple Financing at this store. I successfully placed an online Apple Financing order for an iPhone and came in for pickup. Before receiving the device, I asked the specialist to change the storage size from 1 TB to 512 GB. The order was reprocessed in-store, and I was told to come back later. When I returned the next day, I was told that the order had been "canceled by me," which was not true. I did not cancel anything and never received the phone. I also received no notification (email, SMS, or call). I placed new online orders 3 times and waited days between attempts. I wanted to do business with them. I stopped by 5 weeks ago on a Friday, was told the owner, Josh, was gone. I left a detailed msg with the staff – they were good. I was promised a call the following week. I waited a week – no call, so I followed up with an email – directly to the owner – nothing. So the following Monday I called and spoke with Josh – he admitted he’d seen the note, and remembered the email, I went over the relatively easy work I needed done, he said they could do it, and he’d get me a quote, and information. Another week went by, nothing. So I emailed 2x more, and then called and left a VM. Nothing. For the record: that’s 1 in-person visit, 3 emails, 1 phone call talking to the owner, and 1 voicemail. Total waste of my time. Evidently – they must be too busy to communicate, in any format. So I’ll go elsewhere. It’s mystifying when you TRY to do business with a locally owned business, and they can’t be bothered. Good luck.

Chris was so helpful and knowledgeable. He never tried to "over sell" me and listened to my needs – it rare that you find these kind of sales people today. Most impressive was that after we received the system, Chris walked us through some issues (admittedly user error) on the phone and checked back in a day later via text…no one does that these days!!! I will definitely be using Christopher and the TechTwist associates again on my next project. I converted one of my extra bedrooms into a Home Theater. Chris was very knowledgeable after assessing the area and was able to give professional suggestions on the best way to use the room efficiently for the best Home Theater experience. Since i was not familiar with projection equipment, he was able to break down the pros and cons of different projectors, screens and speaker choices. Tech Twist wired the room from scratch and installed built in ceiling speakers, installed the projector in the ceiling along with adding electrical outlets. Very professional service and Christopher works closely with you to make sure that everyone is happy with the results down to the minor details of setting up your remote control. TechTwist is also fair when it comes to pricing as well. I am looking forward to starting my next project with Christopher and the TechTwist associates.

We hired Chris to install our home theater system after getting 10 quotes over a period of 3 years. Chris was phenomenal from beginning to end!! When Chris initially did the walk through to explain exactly what he would be doing he was very clear and concise. My theater was already professionally painted prior to Chris doing the work and after Chris was done, I only had one small square that needed touch up paint!!! WOW! After using the theater for about 2 weeks now, I feel confident to write this review, everything works amazingly well. Chris installed several things for us within the threater, DVD player, roku, apple TV, a firestick, etc. He recommend and bought everything. When we have movie night its like we are actually at the movies!! The picture quality is impeccable (whether lights are on or off), the sound shakes the entire house (my husbands fav part) Chris showed up on time, was very neat and highly professional.
