The dispatcher said about 90 minutes. The tech said about 25. He was here in about 10 and had me in my house in 5 minutes or less! You can’t beat that for fast service! Also, the reasonable price quoted was less than anyone else’s and it was the price charged, unlike several others I called who said the price was a trip charge plus a service fee ($110 to start in one case) with hourly labor added on.

I had lost my keys the night before and had to get my car towed home … I called him the next day and he seemed very reliable and agreed to have me pay $120 for a remote and the replacement key so of course I went with this option. He took two hours to get to my house and then worked on my car for another hour and a half when he was done. He told me since the labor was harder than he thought it was going to be he wanted 140 and a additional 30 for the second key …then he was gaslighting me making me think that 140 was the number

I honestly think he took advantage of me because I am a young female and a single parent who was more distracted on my toddler than paying attention to him when I finally agreed to give him another 20 even though I didn’t have it he said that he wasn’t gonna give me the extra key with it and had attitude the whole time when i was paying him….. when I finally got into my car leaving a little later, my original car keys were in the car plain as day behind the seat ….. which makes since because when I did come out there the few times I did to check up on him he was trying to make me avoid looking in the car by being short.
When I approached him on the situation with my original car keys being in the car he said he would give me $20 and then threaten me to say that he’ll tell people he never did service with me ….. don’t go to him if you want to get scammed or are a single femaleo

I found out about Bob’s safe and lock by a family member and I must say she wasn’t wrong. I have a Honda CR-V and had a key made by another company but it had stopped working. When I went into Bob’s I was helped by Chris Catt and he is an amazing and humorous man. He was so kind and helped me far above and beyond what he needed to do. If you ever need help with a key fob or anything I would recommend calling Bob’s and I hope you get Chris also because his customer service is far beyond what you would get any where else.

I didn’t catch her name, but I called up there in regard to my key breaking out of my fob, and I was worried I would not be able to afford a key replacement until I was paid on my payday, she assured me that she could make sure that I had a standard key to Tied me over till I could get an actual replacement fob. That is so nice. We ended up doing that and also replacing the fob because they had one there and she did a wonderful job. She was quick and So so sweet. Jeff SAVED ME when my dog, phone, and keys got auto-locked in my car after using one of those portable jumping machines. Every place I dialed was a call center with runarounds and false promises for 2 hours, I was about to bust my window out. When I called Jeff, it was an actual real persons phone number so I left a VM and txt and he replied promptly and SHOWED UP WITHIN 20 minutes! I installed a console vault in my vehicle, reset the combination from the default to a personal choice. Somehow I was locked out! The manufacturer suggested a few things including trying permutations of the last two digits of the combination. I called a few locksmiths and Broad Ripple agreed to take a look. I considered drilling it out but I’m glad I didn’t. A guy at BR Locks took a look and managed to get in by using permutations of the first two digits. He even refused to take payment! I hope never to get locked out of anything but if I do, I know who I’m calling!

Had to get car key blank cut. Went to dealership, they wouldn’t cut it and said $400 for their OEM blank and cut. PopOLock down the road said $150 just to cut the blank…. Walked in and out of here in 5 mins with a cut blank for $2 perfect fix 10/10!!!

Fantastic service. I needed two new locks keyed alike; they had different codes on the box so I assumed different keys. I dropped the locks off to be keyed alike . When I returned it turned out that despite the different key code on the boxes both locks were keyed the same. Now they could have charged me for rekeying and I would not have ever known that no work was needed and gladly paid my bill. But they were upfront and told me the truth and no charge! I will never go anywhere else again for any lock/key service.

Best locksmith I’ve been to! He did it quickly, and the price was really cheap too. I would recommend him because he’s very nice, and you can trust him because he also has about 35 years of experience from what I heard.

I don’t know where the miscommunication was coming from. But all I wanted was a new reprogrammed key. Being that my car won’t start because the chip in my key is defected I contacted them to get a new key. Whomever I was speaking with assured me 101 times that if they give me a new key and it doesn’t work that it would be non refundable & that would mean there’s something else wrong with my car. Okay I understood that all I was letting the man know was there’s nothing else wrong with my car I already had a mechanic look at it and they told me it was the key so I know for a fact all I need is a new key. He then told me he’s been doing this for “35 years” and maybe I should get my mechanic to fix a LOCKS SMITH JOB … I don’t know where the conversation went wrong all I was letting the man know was my car is fine the only issue is the key and he responded with a rude and sarcastic remark. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. Try to look somewhere where you are actually heard !

I drove my 2010 Chevy Malibu to A-Able Lock and James programmed 2 Key Fob remotes that I purchased from an outside vendor. He was very clear that he could not guarantee they would work and would have to charge his time regardless of results. Beware, this company would not release the name of their insurance company after the person they sent to our lock out wiped my car’s computer system out that requires a new system and a tow costing over $3k in damage. I have video of the incident (locksmith admitting to the mishap) and have done my best to work with them. I asked for there business license number just to get hung up on. If you have any attorney willing to track down these owners let me now. It maybe they don’t truly have insurance and aren’t a licensed company on the fact that they will not release that info. They may have it Jane would not provide the info.

I was wanting to be able to get a new key for my car without having to go to the dealer. I tried places like the Minute Key inside of Home Depot and Walmart. The machine could not duplicate the key and the customer service I got was horrible.

Looking for another answer I found this place. The building on the outside may not be that impressive but the customer service and the expertise on the inside is fantastic. They took care of getting me new car keys. I also had been trying multiple times at different places to get an old key duplicated. No problem here.

For any future lock needs, I will be coming here. They have things I had not even considered like safes, key accessories, old style locks to the newest possible. The team at Ace lock and key is awesome! Don’t waste your time with other companies. I tried to save a few bucks by calling popalock, I was told the locksmith would be there in 40 minutes. I waited over four hours and then called the guys at Ace. They were on site in less than 30 minutes!

I stopped in to see if they could remove a locked tow hitch. Mike & Jarod worked tirelessly and used what seemed like a hardware store full of tools to remove the locked hitch. I thought it would be as simple as picking the lock. I was mistaken, but GRATEFUL these two gentlemen would not give up. They succeeded in removing and they did it with a smile.
