Schumacher Homes of Indianapolis, IN

This is an update to my original review just completed the mechanical/pre-drywall inspection. I have had zero problems. My Builder has always been quick to communicate, to the point where he points out When he has issues. There's no project in the world that goes forward without something Going a little sideways, but so far, there's been no actual issues. Both inspectors pulled me off the side to say they were impressed with the quality of the build, and the lack of issues that they found. Frankly, inspectors have to find something. That's their job. But everything they found was minor, things that could be fixed In a matter of hours. The bill process has proceeded significantly faster than I thought it would. So that's been exciting. So this will be my second review, in the middle of the process, still giving them five stars and finding them excellent to work with.

We are early in the process of building our home & have been happy with the frequent & detailed communication from our construction manager Joshua. UPDATE - 2/20/25 Our home is almost complete now and the experience has been so positive. Our Schumacher Builder/construction manager changed to Todd early on, an incredibly professional and competent expert who has been amazing to work with. Truly Todd has exceeded our expectations and been fantastic at every turn. We feel SO lucky to be working with him and to have that peace of mind and trust. Schumacher is clearly hiring amazing people, and working with Todd is a huge selling point for someone considering building with them in the future. The house looks amazing and the build timeline has been quicker than we expected. 11/10 recommend.

These builders are a pleasure to deal with. They are coming in even quicker than planned for completion of our home. Good communication and talented crews is a win, win ! Highly recommend! A few more weeks and we will be in our new home!

I Had a great time with Schumacher. It's important to know, that I am not the easiest customer. I've been going back-and-forth with different builders, Being a pain in the butt about particular Questions. Instead of reacting with Impatience or indifference, The Schumacher team has, at each step, gone out of their way to address my concerns. They have taken time to to show me specifics, discussed improvement ideas on particular plans - both from a practical, and cosmetic standpoint. And interestingly, the staff feels like friends. People who are genuinely interested not just from a commercial Relationship, but personally. This is the beginning. We've signed the build contract and I'm in the process of the loan and Financing. It's been great. I will update this as I go. My consultant was Connie, my GM Is Bryan, my coordinator is Dorothy and my builder is Kyle. I'm working out of the Indianapolis office. If you can, ask for them by name. They are really great people

We’ve recently began construction on our new home with Schumacher and we cannot be anymore complimentary of the staff and their efforts thus far. Bryan has been a huge help throughout the entire process and his knowledge of building quality homes is extremely reassuring to the fact that we’ve made the right choice in Schumacher homes. Dorothy and Connie were great to work with during the design and contract process as well. We’re very excited to see our forever home completed in only a few months.

I can’t say enough good about this company and the Greenwood staff. From start to finish- Connie, Dorothy, Bryan, Kevin-were amazing at seeing things through and to perfection. There’s good communication and teamwork with everyone. You hear horror stories about building a home but there was none of that with Schumacher and staff. I am extremely happy with how everything went and the quality of our new home!
