Bosphorus Istanbul Cafe

My co-worker had told me about this place over a year ago but I never got a chance to check them out until the end of May 2025. This visit was more so inspired after eating at a restaurant by the same name in Dubai earlier in the month. I wanted to compare my experience of the atmosphere, service and of course, the food. I must say, I was very impressed. On the day I went, I first sat outside but a small drizzle quickly guided me to dine indoors instead. I ordered their sampler platter and with that, I had a variety of flavorful Turkish deliciousness. I had plenty, plenty of left overs from my sample platter….one person can only eat so much. Overall, I have to say Indianapolis as a city, is blessed to have this flavorful gem for its residents and visitors to us experience Turkish cuisine without getting on a plane.

This place is awesome! I had never tried Turkish food before and I totally loved it. We got the appetizer combo for two and the Adana kebab — it was perfect to share with my partner. The service was great, the vibe was super nice, and the food tasted fresh and super satisfying. Definitely recommend checking it out!

The owner or the manager is really friendly and hospitable. Service is quick and friendly. They have few vegetarian options, I really enjoyed my meal. Decor is fantastic, quirky, colorful and fun. Even though the walls are full of things, they’re hung so well that it’s not distasteful.

An absolute delight. Everything tastes bright and fresh. Perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend!! Dolmas Eggplant Salsa Pita bread Rice Beef Mediterranean Lamp Chops Regular and Turkish coffee You cannot choose incorrectly and the service is highly attentive.

Food was absolutely delicious! We got the wraps and the lamb plate! Everything was fresh and delicious. We got the pleasure of speaking to the owner as well and he was so sweet and personable. We carried out our order but wish we could’ve sat down in the restaurant! The decorations clearly told a story and the place was so warm. Highly highly recommend!

The restaurant decors are beautiful and shows the cultural arts. The food are delicious. Our server Ronnie was delightful and on point with his recommendations. Ronnie was pleasant and attentive.

Delicious food. We did take out. The location doesn't have ample parking. However it's a cute cafe set up. Twe ordered the eggplant dish and adana kababa. The kababa was dry but flavorful. We feel the veggies could've been grilled more to make them softer. The side of rice was simple yet delicious. Would go back and try other dishes if we are in the area.
