Tandoori Flame

Came here in a stormy night. Had an excellent experience. The service was top notch. The food was full of flavor and delicious. The owner was or servers. He would not let us leave while the rain was too heavy. He watched the rain and let us know when it was safe to leave. You can put a price on service like that.

I would have to say this place is my favorite restaurant in Indianapolis. The majestic chicken and chicken 65 are simply unmatched. The service is always great! If you’re new to Indian food they have a lunch buffet so you would be able to try many of the dishes without having to commit to just one. You won’t regret it!

Came in here to celebrate my daughter's boyfriend's birthday. This is the place he chose and we are so glad he did because it was delicious and the service was amazing. The place is having some renovations but don't let that scare you because they are still open. Upon entering, we were quickly welcomed and seated. They are very kind and very attentive. A couple of us ordered the mango lassi and a couple had the strawberry lassi. Both were really good but I prefer the mango. We ordered a few appetizers and several entrees. I will add pictures of those. My dish (chilly shrimp) is normally chilly chicken but they let me modify it. It was amazing as was all the other dishes. We will definitely be back.

THEY HAVE A RAT/MOUSE PROBLEM. DO NOT EAT HERE. As the other two reviews said, they have rats or mice running around the restaurant. I saw it today, and the other review that commented about it was from 6 months ago. Meaning this has been an issue for quite some time. Let me just say, the food is good, but this is unacceptable. I was a regular for a looong time. I'm not sure why they won't do anything about it, spending a couple thousand to fix it is in their best interest. The worst thing is, this makes other indian restaurants look bad. This is NOT representative of indians as a whole. Most places are great, clean, and hygienic. Please look into pest control or the business will suffer.

Obviously I should have taken a picture before, but I could not wait to eat! Everything about my experience at Tandoori Flame was great. The goat Biryani was the best I’ve ever had. I ordered spicy and it was perfect for someone who loves hot food. I was having a bad day until I ate here. Wish I lived in this area to visit more. Don’t hesitate to stop in! The staff is very professional and polite. You won’t regret coming here.

While Tandoori Flame is under construction, the food remains top quality, service is excellent, atmosphere comfortable. I really enjoyed the beef samosas with their homemade Green Hari Chutney, and garlic naan bread! The Tamarind Chutney was good if you like sweet and tangy. I will be back!

Went for the lunch buffet and left with a new place to eat. The food was flavorful and a wide variety. They had plenty of vegetarian options as well. It may have been my first visit but it will not be my last. The service was even better than the food. So kind and attentive.
