Long's Bakery

I had a wonderful experience at Long's Bakery! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was our very first time visiting, and they generously let us try the donuts, which was such a kind gesture. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality is outstanding. We tried the donuts and cookies, and they were delicious. They also have a great selection of other treats like brownies and more, so there's definitely something for everyone. I highly recommend this bakery!

This place is a must stop. I am traveling through the area for work and wanted to bring home a local treat for the family. This is the place that I found and this is the place that I would recommend to anyone. The staff here is amazing they are friendly and kind, warm and welcoming. I told them that I had never been to long before and the woman gave me one of their fresh, yeast, glazed donuts because those are what they are known for. It was delicious. If you come here remember that it is cash only. I was glad that I had read that before I came in so I had some cash on me. Keeping it cash only is a wonderful nostalgic experience but also a great way for them to be able to keep the costs down for future customers. Anyway, If you are in the area stop by and get yourself some donuts, or maybe some cream horns, everything is delicious.

CASH ONLY! Both locations in town serve up the BEST yeast donuts I've ever had. The donut holes are by far our favorite, with the cinnamon fry in second. I do like this location more since it has a nice parking lot and more space in general.

When I stop by the Southport Antique Mall, I also swing into Long's for a fresh brownie. They have a great selection of items, a friendly staff and plenty of parking. One note - cash only! Grab some brownies (traditional, with pecans, with peanut butter or German Chocolate) and some milk and enjoy your day!

We all know Longs is amazing! We frequently visit other local donut shops. However, no one can compare to Longs! It's just a good old fashioned donut shop. Delicious and affordable. I bought a dozen mixed and 4 apple fries and paid $16. I can go to another shop and get only 6 donuts for $9. Longs is a staple here in the city and will always be my go-to!!!

Sometimes it's just this simple: Long's classic glazed yeast is my favorite donut I've ever had, period. Since it was my first time, they gifted me a free one, and each bite just melted into a sweet, warm, gooey mouthful of pure deliciousness when it hit my mouth. Love, love, love! I came in with a plan to just try one (applesauce) donut (which was also very tasty) but after my free sample, I added 2 more glazed as well, and ended up wished that I had sprung for more! I'll definitely be back! Did I mention love, love, love?
