JP at the Conrad Hotel front desk was exceptional. From check-in to check-out, JP was professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. We had an issue with our room upon arrival and JP quickly worked with leadership to solve our problem. Everything was handled efficiently, and any questions we had were answered with care and attention. Excellent service and a great first impression of the hotel. JP even went above and beyond for our girls and got them sweet treats throughout the weekend!

Had a lovely stay with my wife here for 1 night. We got in late but the staff were very accommodating despite the weather. Valet and room service were exceptionally prompt and everything seemed exceptionally well kept. Water pressure in the shower was a little weak but otherwise fantastic experience.

Great location, good service, nice rooms. I enjoyed my stay. The highlight was the vegan gluten-free tofu scramble bowl on the in-room breakfast menu! What a delicious surprise. Thank you!

Had a great two night stay here during the month of October. From the moment you walk in it is obvious that this is a five star hotel. The lobby isn’t huge but it is very elegant and smells wonderful. The staff I encountered during my stay were very friendly and professional. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a lot of amenities. The bathroom was a good size with separate shower and tub. I loved the traditional elegant decor of the room which separates it from a lot of the modern luxury hotels that mostly look sterile and cold. The fitness center was large and had a lot of equipment to choose from. The lap pool was also very nice which was right next to the fitness center. The only issue I encountered was that the Lounge was closed in the afternoon even though the hours were posted that it would open at 4. As a diamond member, I had planned on using my daily dining credit towards dinner and drinks only to find out it was no longer open but opted for in-room dining instead which was pretty good. Overall I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a luxurious hotel in downtown Indianapolis.

We stay at the Conrad every year when we are in town for a swim meet. We always love the hotel and the service This particular trip the night, guest services manager,Oskar, came to our rescue. Oskar provided the most amazing customer service (in the middle of the night)! When my daughter got sick, he brought us Gingerale and chamomile tea and helped remake our beds personally. He was caring, thoughtful, and truly customer oriented He made our experience at the Conrad 10 times better!!

Ironworks Hotel was Spectacular!!!! I received a text the day before I checked in asking if I needed anything for my stay! Wow!!! When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the Doorman who helped us with our luggage and directed us to the lobby! The Front Desk Assistant was very kind and helpful! Loved the added security of Room Key operated elevators! The Rooms were Fantastic!! The abundant choices of food were so appreciated after traveling and not wanting to drive to eat! Only downside was the cleaning crew did start early in the morning and that prevented us from sleeping in as they created a lot of noise in the hall and moving furniture in the rooms.

I come to Indianapolis regularly on business, and this is my favorite hotel to stay at. Its early 1900s, industrial, and dark / shadowy theme is just plain cool. And the theme totally carries into the room as well, which I also tend to keep dark to maintain the vibe (turning on only one or two table lamps). I just love it. Plus, there are multiple fabulous restaurant choices in the same industrial park, within a few minutes walk–steaks, sushi, authentic Mexican(!), and more.

It was my husband and I’s first time here for our anniversary. We had a wonderful stay! They gave us a complimentary upgrade on our room which was such a surprise! Our room was the legacy suite and MAN, it was so spacious and comfortable. The rainfall shower was amazing!!! Best shower I’ve ever taken by far. The bed was extremely comfortable for us and the pillows were very soft. The mini bar was stocked with snacks, sodas, and alcoholic beverages for an additional fee. We were craving burgers for dinner so we went 4 minutes down the road to Flamme Burger. HIGHLY recommend. Delicious. We went to Rize for breakfast and that was also delicious. Probably one of our favorite getaways for our anniversary. So much to do with the mall being so close. So many dining options. Great area. Kind people working!! Thank you for a great first experience 🙂

This is a really nice hotel. The vibe is very cool and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The hotel has several restaurants right around it for a quick bite to eat. I worked out daily in the fitness room. There is a nice rack of weights, a few treadmills, and a peloton bike. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

A very well maintained hotel and the hospitality at Ironworks is top notch. This was our first visit here, but definitely not our last. Our room was spacious and had several choices in room for snacks and drinks…Thank you Ironworks for providing such a comfortable and amazing stay. We will see you all again soon!

Stayed Dec 21st for 1 night, 2 rooms for my family. First the positive, easy parking in/out, great decor, check in at 9:30 pm a breeze and front desk friendly. The not so great, the bed mattress was rock hard, to the point I woke up 3x. The bathroom has an opaque wall so the bright light shines right into main room, how about a night light ? Room 2 dealt with a lot of noise from guests but that’s not the hotel fault. Beautiful hotel but the mattresses rock hard 😂what were they thinking.

Visited Indiana from California in Dec, and stayed here it was honestly pretty great. I travel ALOT and always look for higher end and unique stays whenever possible and Bottle works did not disappoint. The history alone will take you on its on adventure. A few things to note: there isn't an official loading zone and did not seem like there was valet at the time I had arrived. No problem as there was ample street parking and a convenient parking garage across the street. Ordered room service for dinner and the filet was 10/10. I wish I had ordered breakfast this way as well. It was a fun experience. We visited a local eatery for breakfast and it was great. I did not even know that this was a Michelin Award Hotel until I was checking out. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and really want to thank the entire staff for being committed to such a great experience for their guests and just allowing you to enjoy the stay. 10/10 and is better than any Hilton, Mariott, etc. [No Offense 😉 ]

Bottleworks Hotel is an amazing place to stay. Built inside the old Coca-Cola bottling factory, the hotel has done a beautiful job preserving its history and charm. From the original Coke memorabilia to the iconic Coca-Cola red room doors, the attention to detail is impressive. The overall aesthetic is stunning and gives off a classy speakeasy vibe throughout the hotel. The staff is always very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which really adds to the experience. We’ve dined at Modita, which is located inside the hotel (but not operated by the hotel), and it was great — I’ll save that full review for another time. The same goes for Sundry and Vice, the bar inside the building. It’s absolutely stunning and worth visiting. Blue Collar Coffee Co., the café on site, has good coffee, a nice variety of drink options, and a delicious assortment of pastries. The location is another big plus. It’s conveniently located across the street from the parking garage and within walking distance of many fun things to do in Indy. My only real complaint is that the hotel does not have a pool or a spa. It’s not a deal breaker by any means, but those are amenities I personally enjoy when staying away from home. Overall, this is a beautiful, unique hotel and a great place to stay in Indianapolis.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a blast. Ronan at the front desk was so accommodating and kind. We were dazzled by the service. Food was great, staff were very attentive, this is a 10/10. You won't regret your stay here! The area is so nice and walkable. A new discovery is around each corner and we loved having this as our first adventure as a married couple!

From the time we parked and valet took our vehicle to the time valet dropped off our vehicle when leaving, the staff was absolutely amazing! The room was super clean, bed was so comfy, hunters shampoo made my hair feel so clean and refreshed! It was super quiet for sleeping and relaxing. The best part of it all was the beautiful display of art on the walls and the history behind the whole hotel.

My husband and I stayed here the day after Christmas and loved it! The hotel is absolutely stunning. Filled with rich history and beauty at every turn. The original art deco design is stunning and seamlessly integrated with modern high end luxury. The staff was outstanding and the area was perfect for a relaxing night in Indianapolis. Tons of food options at The Garage next door and plenty of options for food and shopping within walking distance. Can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. Already looking forward to our next visit!

A great place to stay in the heart of Mass Ave. Great walkability to surrounding venues and shops. The hotel interior is very stylish and themed for a modern feel. Staff on our visit was very friendly and accommodating. My wife enjoyed the complimentary hot tea and sparkling water. We did not use this visit, but have used the on-site dinner restaurant, breakfast/coffee shop, and bar. This is an excellent place for couples looking for a local spot that gives get-away feels and plenty to do in walking distance. Parking is metered curbside, limited surface lot, and ticketed garage.

I booked two nights as I was in town alone and it was recommended. I had to leave early as, despite being exhausted with jet lag, I only got about five hours sleep because the aircon generator was so loud during the night and didn’t switch off until 5pm. My room did not have its own aircon controls and was so freezing I had to have a hot shower and try to open the window but they didn’t open. I told the staff member and they didn’t tell me that they could close the vents. If I’d have known, I would have slept a little better. Another guest this morning said they also heard the aircon generator in the night and the staff member herself told me she thought it was loud at night and she lives in residence. Such a shame as I checked out early and found somewhere else. When I complained I wasn’t offered any compensation – they did re sell the room and only then was I able to get a refund minus 15% fee. No offer of waiving this fee and no offer of anything for the troubles. I am only here for four days from the UK and I have spent one of them exhausted and trying desperately to find somewhere else. Such a shame. The staff also run another local bnb and I think they just don’t have time for both.

This was my husband and my 4th time staying at the Looking Glass Inn over the last five years. It's magical- our favorite place to stay in Indy! Each time we visit, the hosts are kind and welcoming. The Inn is beautifully decorated and well kept with historical pieces and photos. We have stayed in 3 different rooms, each of them has been clean & so cozy. The beds are comfortable & the jacuzzi tub is a great feature. Towels, linens and toiletries are always stocked along with complimentary coffee, ice machine, and snacks always available just down the hallway. I even love the staircase, the furniture, the giant mirror in the hallway- all beautiful as ever. The breakfast is my personal favorite part of our stay each time: Fresh coffee, juices, bagels, fruit, cereal and more offered around dining room tables, bringing a sense of home. The location feels safe and secure and always seems close to everything we visit! Check in & check out is seamless. Thank you! ✨️

Just as I remembered it. Stayed here with my wife 9 years ago and we're here again. This place is stunning and our stay was perfect. Andy does an amazing job, he took care of us every step of the way and makes fantastic muffins! Will be the only place I stay when I'm downtown. Love this house. Thanks Andy and The Looking Glass Inn.

I absolutely loved this place! I was truly impressed with the amenities such as a ice machine that also dispensed water (so I could fill my water bottle), really nice grounds to hang out on and a nice breakfast selection. Everything was extremely clean and in great shape and the bed was very comfortable. It has all of the charm of a historic building while also being modern in the appropriate ways (such as wifi and a TV!) I absolutely will stay here again when I'm in town – it was refreshing to stay somewhere that felt like it was taken care of by people who genuinely want their guests to feel welcome and happy.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice but the bed probably does need updated. Breakfast was perfectly fine both mornings. As can be expected with old buildings, sound travels far especially at 3 in the morning when someone is spamming the door bell. All together would happily stay again.

Frequently asked questions about resorts and spas in Indianapolis

What types of spa treatments are typically offered at Indianapolis resorts?

Indianapolis resorts offer a diverse range of spa treatments, generally encompassing classic options like Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and hot stone massage. Many establishments also provide more specialized services such as aromatherapy, reflexology, lymphatic drainage, and various facial treatments utilizing techniques like microdermabrasion and hydrafacials. The specific treatments available often vary by resort and location within the facility.

How far in advance should I book a spa day at a resort in Indianapolis?

To secure the best treatment times and availability, especially during peak seasons or weekends, it’s recommended to book your spa day at an Indianapolis resort well in advance. Ideally, you should book at least two to four weeks prior to your desired date, but booking even further out – six to eight weeks – is advisable for particularly popular resorts or treatments. This ensures you get your preferred time and minimize the chance of disappointment.

What are the typical costs associated with spa treatments at Indianapolis resorts?

The cost of spa treatments at Indianapolis resorts can fluctuate considerably depending on the type of treatment, the length of the session, and the experience of the therapist. Generally, expect to pay between $80 and $250 for a single treatment. Packages combining multiple treatments often offer a more economical option, with costs ranging from around $150 to $500, depending on the inclusions. Always inquire about pricing beforehand.

Do Indianapolis resorts offer packages that include accommodation?

Many Indianapolis resorts offer a variety of packages that combine spa treatments with accommodation. These packages can provide significant savings compared to booking both separately. These packages may range from simple room-and-spa deals to more elaborate options including gourmet meals, private transportation, and access to other resort amenities like fitness centers or pools. Always confirm what is included with each package.

What amenities do Indianapolis resorts typically provide in addition to spa services?

Indianapolis resorts often provide a range of amenities to enhance your overall experience, including luxurious guest rooms, swimming pools, fitness centers equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, saunas and steam rooms, and often restaurants and bars offering a selection of cuisines and beverages. Some resorts also feature event spaces for weddings or corporate gatherings.

Are there resorts in Indianapolis that cater specifically to couples?

Yes, several resorts in Indianapolis are specifically designed to cater to couples seeking a romantic getaway. These resorts often feature private suites with jacuzzis or hot tubs, couples massage packages, and intimate dining experiences. Look for resorts with dedicated amenities and services to enhance the romantic atmosphere, such as flower arrangements and champagne services.

What about resorts in Indianapolis that welcome families?

While many resorts are geared towards adults, some Indianapolis resorts do offer amenities and services that cater to families. These may include family-friendly spa treatments, kids' clubs, family suites, and pools designed with children in mind. Confirm whether the resort’s policies and facilities are suitable for your family’s needs.

What is the typical dress code for spa treatments at Indianapolis resorts?

The dress code for spa treatments at Indianapolis resorts is generally relaxed but requires comfort and modesty. Most resorts recommend that clients wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing, such as bathrobes, flip-flops, or yoga pants. It’s advisable to avoid wearing anything too restrictive or revealing, and to remove jewelry that could pose a hazard during treatment. Specific requirements may be outlined upon booking.

Are there any resorts in Indianapolis with specific wellness programs?

Several Indianapolis resorts offer comprehensive wellness programs designed to promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall well-being. These programs may incorporate elements of yoga, meditation, nutrition, and other holistic therapies. Some resorts offer customized wellness retreats led by experienced wellness professionals, focusing on specific needs like stress reduction or detoxification.

How can I confirm the resort's policies regarding reservations and cancellations?

Before booking a spa day at an Indianapolis resort, it’s essential to carefully review their reservation and cancellation policies. These policies typically outline the timeframe for canceling or modifying appointments, as well as any associated fees. It’s wise to obtain a written copy of the policy and understand the terms and conditions fully before confirming your booking. Clarify any doubts with the resort’s reservations department.
