I hate giving 1 stars but this place deserves it. I was already late on doing my taxes cause I was extremely busy. I dropped my taxes off with Steve and the guy never called me once in 3 months. Now im that much more late on my taxes and had to hire a new person. Thanks a lot. I personally dont see how this company is still in business. I had my marketing guy go pick up my taxes and he told me the lady was very snappy and not professional at all. I most definitely dont recommend this company and wouldnt count on them to do anything for anyone. Very disappointed.

Judd does great for business evaluations as well. I'm thankful to have him as my go to Tax partner as he also has been able to help my clients who have had tax issues.

Judd Lawrie helped me get a big refund check from Indiana for my 2018 taxes. I had initially filed with Turbo Tax, and did not get the refund promised by them. I even contacted their customer service and a CPA they assigned to resolve this, but after wasting several hours dealing with them I just gave up. All they said is you have to file an amendment, without indicating what the issue was clearly, which was not helpful to me. Later in the year I happened to just come across Lawrie CPA group when looking for CPAs near my house and decided to have Judd review my return and see what I should be getting back. I went in without calling ahead or an appointment and was able to talk to Judd immediately. He provided me with clear guidance on what documents he needed to examine my case. He seemed quite knowledgeable and honest. When I provided him with the documents later that afternoon through a very convenient secure online portal his firm has, he not only identified the minor mistake in my return, but also put together the paperwork for an amendment and provided me with an envelope to mail the same to Indiana Dept of Revenue, along with a copy for my records. All within a span of 24 hours, and for just a minor fee! Very happy so far with the prompt service and great outcome.

I was amazed at my first return with Lawrie CPA Group and have been using them for the last 13 years. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Great customer service, quality of care & value like no other. I refer all my business clients to Judd. I have had many clients thank me for referring them as Judd is a true problem solver. I used Lawrie CPA this past year and it was a terrible experience. I reached out in December - before the year was even over. I even spoke to Judd on the phone and he confirmed he could do my taxes. So, I sent him all of my information and never heard from him. Then, in March 2020, I reached back out to Judd and his team and no one knew anything about me. Also, Judd promised to change my business address to a different state for me and never did. This was extremely unprofessional and I would never recommend this firm to anyone.

I have done my taxes with David Cherry for multiple years roughly dating back to 2014. I have never had an issue with him until he moved to this firm. We sat down to do our taxes this year for 2022 and something has changed. We were missing a few items to complete our taxes so it was discussed in office and we were instructed to email the missing docs to the firm. I did that on the same day and and called to confirm they were received. I received no call back. The following week I called on Monday and left a message with assistant to have David call me back. He did call me and basically was scorning me for doing exactly what he told me to do and then said you want me to go through the emails and look at everything I sent. I found this comical and could not believe what he had just said. I sent the information via email. He should have received it and finished our taxes but no. He commenced to tell me to go get my taxes done somewhere else. Everything was done per his instruction and because he is too incompetent to read an email well we will find someone else to do our taxes. Its really a shame because I liked David a lot. Judd contacted me shortly after I wrote this review and offered to remedy the situation and I really appreciated that. He got my taxes completed swiftly and was also very apologetic for the situation. Thank you Judd.

This is my third year using this CPA firm and I thank Judd and his team for all they have done for me since I’ve been a client! I did my own taxes for years but I ran into a audit problem once in my life and he fixed it and I just never left! Does the company need a little improvement in the business flow, process and communication? Yes, but we all do within ourselves as well! Well, at least I can admit that I do! I know I too can admit I have been impatient with getting responses back during the pandemic time and I do understand whole heartedly that it’s gets busy! But overall, Judd and his team is great to work with and have always talked and responded to me respectfully with patiences warm and friendly explanations! They are very understanding even from a clients point of view! They handle all of my taxes! May God continue to bless your business more abundantly!
