Change your name from legal aid to legal advice because they can do nothing but give advice Had an absolutely horrible experience with them multiple times. I go through the intake, get accepted and beg for help only to be told they won't do anything for me and talk down to me like i'm stupid and worth nothing. I can't help that someone is doing things that are illegal to me and i go to legal services for help because i'm disabled. I would reccomend never going here especially after the call i just had and the intake i had earlier this month were the person refused to listen to a single word i said and messed even the most basic thing of a town and a county having the same name up ignoring me correcting her 5+ times. I felt relief after speaking to the attorney after the horrible intake only to be told today that they can't and won't help me and that until i am actively being evicted they won't do anything. So basically have your life being completely destroyed were there is nothing you can do to save it and then call them and have them be worthless

I am extremely thankful for this law office helping me get back on medworks. My attorney was very patient and knowledgeable about the process, especially now with some medical issues.

Had an amazing experience! I am beyond grateful for the counsel I received here by my Attorney Amanda Lufkin. She helped me with an expungement. They got back to me quickly after I applied for help and she got my expungement taken care of for me. They were very professional, they didn't charge me anything and she fought for me. I can now move forward and thanks to Amanda and her team they have opened more doors for myself as a single mom to be able to provide for my family! I can't thank them enough!

If making less than $400 a month is not enough to qualify for aid, then what use is this place?

These lawyers suck and they will act funny towards you at the end of the case. Hayes Gibson Property Services made me and my two kids homeless and placed lies on us in court. Not to mention my money orders were not placed inside the computer and the company made up false rent amounts. I had a lot of evidence to show that the company who filed an eviction was lying about a lot of stuff and it's the Judge and my lawyer was NOT paying attention to anything that I was submitting. These lawyers do not work hard enough and will leave you confused at the end versus what they said in the beginning for as making sure they help you. That is why I will not pay these people not a penny not a nickel nor a dime!

This place needs to be shutdown! They never help anyone they get in your business ask you questions just to deny you every time I’ve been denied two different years for different situations better off with a paid attorney!

Update 9/2024 - I'm increasing my review to 5 stars. It did take them about 7 months to contact me, which was frustrating. (I know they must have an insanely high case load and are running low on staff...so I do get that.) Ultimately they followed through and when I met with an attorney I was treated with the upmost kindness and respect. That meant everything to me. Truly, thank you so so much! Update 8/2024 - I did hear back from them so I am deeply grateful for that. I'm increasing my stars based upon the fact that they did follow through. I will increase my stars further once paperwork is filed. I totally empathize with how inundated they must be - I just wish communication was better during the process. They sent me a letter in January 2024 stating they would take my case. I turned in everything they asked of me. It's now July 2024, and I still haven't heard anything back despite 20+ calls to them. They have not returned a single phone call of mine in 6 months. Not one. I'm happy to increase my stars if I ever hear back from them and they actually do what they said they would do.
