We stayed here the end of October 2025. The Indianapolis KOA was easy to find just off I-70. We had heard that check-in involved a tight turn near the office, but we had no issues navigating the turn with our 40’ fifth wheel and F450. Check-in was quick and easy, and we proceeded to deluxe Paw Pen Site D55, a pull-through with full hookups. We’ve stayed at KOAs with Paw Pens before, but this location had the largest fenced dog area we’ve seen to date, which was a nice surprise. Cell coverage was solid with 3 bars on both Verizon and T-Mobile. The campground has a lot of mature trees, so satellite service could be challenging depending on site location. For this overnight stay, we used our T-Mobile Home Internet and saw 35.4 Mbps download speeds instead of deploying Starlink. Campground Wi-Fi was available but slow at 3.89 Mbps download. The laundry room was clean and well maintained, with large washers and dryers. There was signage noting that the well water may stain white clothing, but we washed some white items without any issues. Take a few minutes to read the campground rules—they’re surprisingly hilarious and worth the laugh. Overall, this was a great overnight stop and one of the better KOA stays we’ve had.

An average campground. Coming in Google took us on a wrong turn into Camping World. Leaving Camping World then saw the KOA sign with an arrow. Figured it out but they either need to update their address or better signage. Check-in was quick but desk staff needs to be much more welcoming, engaging, and SMILING. Wife reserved what turned out to be a Buddy site and the only good thing was relatively close to the only bathroom/showers. Buddy sites are right on top of your neighbor. Bathroom/Showers supposedly cleaned daily but get 2.5 Stars at best. Discovered when we unhitched that the ball on my hitch needed tightening. Went to the office a few days latter to ask to borrow a couple big wrenches. Was told rather curtly they can’t borrow out any tools. I offered to have the guy accompany me but no go. Really? Thankfully a fellow camper overhead and came to my rescue. Staff appears to be all teenagers. Nice pool area for kids but not adults. Campground is close to I 70 and gas. Catholic Church 15 minutes away in Greenfield. Indianapolis about 20 minutes.

Overall it was pretty decent. The location was nice and close to everything. The campsite felt new and renovated. The biggest complaints for us was how dirty the water was and it smelled like copper. Our water filter was also brand new, just bought it less than a week prior to visiting. The sites are also not level and the gravel was extremely narrow. For how expensive this stay is I’d have expected a much higher quality for the sites. Outside of the sites, the place was nice, clean, and full of amenities.

We stayed in a premium RV site for 4 nights with swings and a fireplace. It is so nice to set out at night under the lighted gazebo. This KOA is clean, well manicured and it has a nice pool that kids will love. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed walking and seeing the cabins that were available to rent. It also has a nice gift shop. We have stayed here twice and will definitely be back.

This is what a KOA HOLIDAY SHOULD BE. Wonderful time here stayed 4 days and could not have ask for a nicer experience, the staff was super and the site and camping areas were well maintained. Friendly place in a great location. Pizza, firewood and ice delivered to your site!

Very well maintained campground. We love traveling here with our friends from Ohio. The kids have a great time at the pool and they have plenty of buddy sites so we can camp side by side. Just had a great time again this past weekend. Looking forward to being back next season!

This is a very nice campground. It has all the things you come to expect at a KOA. It has a nice pool, clean bathrooms, and friendly staff. The sites even for a pull through was spacious. If you are in the back section of the campground you have a long walk to the shower/bathroom. They have a nice trail and bridge over a stream that runs through the campground but the trail ends right at a campsite. It would be nice if the campground would complete the trail all the way to the bathroom. The only option campers in the back section have is to either walk through campsites or walk a long way around. This can be a challenge with small children that when they say they have to go probably had to go a long time ago. Overall we enjoyed our four days stay and will certainly use the campground again.
