I needed my pool liner replaced this year and was lucky enough to find Keith via these reviews and am happy to add my own!

I appreciated Keith’s fair pricing, updates on timelines, and, most importantly, the work itself. He was friendly, efficient, and left me with some tips on how to make my pool last. Very much appreciated his work and would recommend him to anyone needing help with their pool.

Had a pipe fitting fall off on the pool plumbing today. Sent Keith a quick video of the issue and he was out within about an hour and had it fixed in about 5 minutes, without trying to sell us anything extra. This was our first interaction, but won’t be our last. Great customer service and can’t beat the price either!

We have dreamed of having a pool for years. We decided to go with Perma Pools, and are very happy with our experience. The crews were fantastic and very hard working- once they started, it was done in 30 days.

We love our Kayak pool. We began the process at the end of April and had our pool installed the first week of July. The team at Kayak pools Midwest were great, keeping us updated all along the way. From finance to install the process was easy and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

Our experience with Kayak Pools Midwest was good from start to finish. We were kept informed throughout the process and any questions we had were promptly answered. The installer was local to us and showed up on time and completed the job in 1 day. Three guys started at 7:30 am and finished at 9 PM. Kayak Pools Midwest installed our pool last summer and we have enjoyed swimming and family hangout time in our pool ever since! Pools by Cory did a fantastic job on our pool install this spring. The team finished it on schedule as promised. Communication with us as their clients went really good and we learned a lot during the “pool school” they teach. Taught us how to operate the pool and to keep the water chemicals perfect. Our original pool had some pretty major issues, including crumbling concrete, along with age and damage problems with the liner and cover. Pools by Cory (especially Cory and Alex) spent a lot of time with us and gave us repair vs replace options and advice. They helped us talk through and decide on the best approach for our specific needs. Ultimately we ended up with an amazing brand new social/family-geared fiberglass pool that makes us feel like we have a resort in our back yard. We couldn’t be happier with the pool, concrete deck area, and the overall appearance of our final project. As any questions, concerns, or issues came up during the demo and installation, the Pools by Cory team was very receptive and responsive. We especially appreciated that when the opportunity arose they moved us up on the schedule, which gave us an extra 2 months of enjoying our new pool last summer. Poor communication. Poor execution. Poor listening.
We made a plan for what we wanted our dream pool to look like. The project manager forgot what it was and did something else. By the time we realized they messed up, it was too late.
We settled for a different design hoping that would look good… instead we got extra landscaping that died immediately and thick concrete that seems improperly constructed. Huge chips/cracks within weeks of being poured.

Tried talking to them about it but they were done and moved on to a new project. Now I’ve paid $90,000 for a pool that looks like it could fall apart at any moment

We could not be happier with our service from ‘Pools by Cory’. Not only did we have fantastic communication every step of the way but Cory introduced us to each point of contact whether that was the concrete team, the project manager, to the maintenance team that helps service our pool when we have questions that we are likely asking that we should know. The front office is super responsive and helpful every single time my wife reaches out to them. The couple times they came out to service something it was something that they could have explained over the phone but went the extra mile in swinging by the house and explaining it in person to us so that we fully understood. In our initial search for a pool vendor we had estimates from only a few places as most places acted as if our project was not big enough. The team with ‘Pools by Cory’ were first class the whole way. I cannot stress enough how important communication and over communication is when purchasing something of this magnitude and we truly felt like they were with us every step of the way and even after the pool was setup and running. They even have contacts for projects you might want to do after the pool is in such as fences, decks, lighting etc!

Pools by Cory made this dream a reality! From start to finish, they provided information, educated us patiently through the process, were there to answer any questions at any time. The folks at Barton did an amazing job bringing the vision to life. We had a difficult backyard situation, but they took on the challenge and left us with a resort in our backyard! Their attention to detail is unlike any other. Our pool is amazing and the equipment they used has made upkeep so easy.

FABULOUS WORK!!!! FABULOUS PEOPLE!!! They were able to get a new liner in my pool 2-3 months sooner than any other pool company!!! They put in the new liner and cleaned up in one day!! Can’t say enough about how great this company is!!

Absolutely hands-down, the best pool service company in Indiana. Everybody at Barton pool company are truly professionals and treat all of us like family! From start to finish Barton pool company is able to furnish any homeowner with the best and most beautiful pool. Everything they do is in-house so there’s no subcontracting. It’s all done by them. And that makes a difference in the bottom line. So if you need services to a full in the ground pool, there’s no one else to contact but the Barton pool company.

We found out we had a crack in our old fiberglass steps and needed a liner replacement to fix the issue. We went with Barton Pool company and we are incredibly happy with the results. Jeff the owner of the company and his crew went above and beyond to get our pool looking better than it ever has before! They completely renovated our steps so we would not have the same problem in the future. We went with steel steps overlayed with the liner. They applied foam on the steps underneath the liner (so it’s soft if you wanted to sit on the steps), they added a new diving board and two water fountain features. Before installing the liner they noticed that the concrete underneath the pool wasn’t completely level and smooth so they took the time to perfect this instead of rushing the job. You can not go wrong with this company. If you are looking for a company who will go the extra mile and do it right the first time go with Barton Pool Company!

We have used the Barton Pool Company for over 5 years and have been completely happy with all of their services. They are responsive, prompt, competent, and are a one stop shop as this company has so many services to help with pool maintenance. And their front desk folks are simply amazing. They are so friendly and accommodating.

Pool breakdowns can be frustrating, but Barton Pools take the frustration out of all of that for us and are readily available to help fix whatever problem we are encountering.

I WOULD GIVE MORE STARS IF I COULD! I have been with Barton Pool’s for many years. After, being with several different pool companies trying to sell you more chemicals them I needed. I was such a relief to have a honest company. Their staff maintains my pool weekly, replace my liner when I want and to top it off the total staff is fast, efficient, can answer questions and professional.

I worked with Pates Pools to get my pool completely renovated after getting overcharged for subpar “fixes” with another company. David was great to work with even through Covid, supply chain, and subcontractor issues. Highly recommend them. They’re my go to for chemical balancing, equipment, and service.

These people are wonderful. The talented gentleman were polite and kind. They worked very hard in the hot and sticky weather. Because they worked so hard, our pool was finished early! I worked with David when looking at hot tubs and had a great experience. I didn’t feel pressure or anything to buy from them. The atmosphere is a family company and not a corporate business. I do like their nordic hot tubs, hopefully here soon we can purchase one. Thank you and take care!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR LINER INSTALLATION. We had our liner installed in 2021 and called Pates several time due to issues with liner pulling out of the coping and excessive wrinkling. We were told it was because we had a low PH level at the time of closing. We woke today to find our liner pulled from the coping and unusable. We emailed and called Pates with no response. We visited the store as was told by David there was nothing they were going to do to make the faulty install right. They blamed 1 chemical data point as the result of the total collapse of our liner. They do not stand by their work and I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

In Response to Pates Reply:
David’s second point that “none of these wrinkles existed when we installed your liner in June of 2021” is a ridiculous statement. Who would expect wrinkles within the same month of installation? We actually had issues starting as early as August 2021. The mention of our previous liner issue preceded us as a homeowner so the claim of us being a “repeat offender” carries absolutely no weight. Lastly, I checked back on my documentation from the October 2022 closing and while David had very detailed analysis of our water this information was not shared with us. As an expected partner in our pool management one would expect the company to share these results for the benefit of the homeowner. Instead, David kept those records to himself so that he could absolve himself of any culpability. We also spoke to other pool companies in the area, showed them the pictures of our damage and their comments were unanimous that these issues could not be attributed to our water maintenance. If you are looking for someone to act as a partner and in your best interest, please avoid Pates.

Everyone we have worked with on our pool & now our new hot tub have been fantastic! Dave & Bob help me work through our crazy chemistry issues created by another company & helped us fix a pool leak. The teams that came out to install our new tub were just as great as Dave & Bob. Not sure why I have ever used another company and definitely won’t ever again. I was literally ready to fill my pool in with concrete until they help me & now I’m managing my chemicals & saving a ton of money. I would highly recommend the Pate’s team.

We hired the pool detective to find a possible leak and then repair that leak (s). I am so impressed. They were thorough, knowledgeable, helpful and reasonable. The original repair had to be modified/increased after finding the skimmer line was likely not able to be repaired but had to be replaced. They were so thoughtful and accommodating when working with me on the higher cost of the repair. Andrew did a great job on the repair and now our skimmer works beautifully. They are a company that works within a value system that I can get behind in that they treat their customers with respect and honesty.

I just can’t say enough about this awesome business. The Pool Detectives are courteous, professional, prompt, very thorough and were able to find leaks under concrete. Very much worth their fee!!! I would recommend them to anyone who needs this service.

I have nothing but positive things to say. I set up a date for The Pool Detective to come and guess what, the company showed up ready to work on that date. They were able to find several issues with the problem/Leak I was having and we came to a solution for the problem. I would have them come back out in the future if needed. Andrew was great to work with, and Kara made sure my needs were met.

Called Leak Detectives at the recommendation of a pool contractor. Kara called back within an hour or two. Andrew came out and looked extensively for a small leak on the suction side the next day. Determined it was too small to be detected. The next day, Kevin was in the neighborhood and stopped by after reviewing the report from Andrew. He also spent a lot of time looking for the leak and he could not find it. After the pool contractor finished their work, the problem seemed to get worse. Kevin came out again the same day I called and was then able to detect the leak. There were no additional charges and they were quick to respond. Additionally Kevin detected an issue with the multiport valve which was leaking large amounts of water.

Our pool recently began losing a lot of water in a 24 hour span and I knew it was more than evaporation. I called the Pool Detective and Kara was great to speak with. She told me someone would be in my area the next day, which I was very happy to hear! Andrew showed up and after I gave him some info about the history of the pool, he went to work and found that our pool light was leaking and he quickly was able to fix the issue and stop the leak. 24 hours later, I have not seen any water loss outside of evaporation. The team at The Pool Detective were courteous, professional, prompt and experts in finding my issue and solving it quickly. While I hope I do not have to call them again, I know who I need to call if I suspect my pool has sprung another leak!

Our community recently had Ceramo complete renovations to our pool deck. Jaro is knowledgeable, trustworthy, responsive and fair in the entire process. The project was completed how he said it would be, when he said it would be and for the price he quoted. The part that was most notable to me was how he didn’t try to tell me there were massive problems that required immediate and hugely extensive repairs. He doesn’t try to upsell or come in with a low quote and then surprise you with extra things once the project is underway. Would definitely hire Ceramo again for future projects.

After 4 years of looking st chipped and broken pool tiles, we finally found Ceramo! Over the course of 3 days they removed the old tiles, ground down to the coping, and properly laid in new tiles with the appropriate slant! Alex did a great job communicating throughout the process! Mud Slingers did an awesome job on our pool! Kim was extremely responsive and very hands on. Their entire team went above and beyond on our 40′ fiberglass pool with Hayward salt water equipment and heat pump controlled from my phone.

Mudslingers installed our pool late fall of 2020/spring 2021. Communication is consistently great, and they have always been very helpful with pool troubleshooting over the past year and a half. We noticed a tear in the liner when they finished the install in the spring of 2021 (due to winter weather) and Kim quickly patched it as a temporary fix then warrantied and replaced the liner within a couple weeks. Kim has always been great getting pool levels in line when they get out of balance and making sure the our pool features are properly working (fixed a pool light with bad connection and cleaned out our salt cell when water levels were out of wack). All in all, Kim has been great to work with from start to finish (along with annual upkeep maintenance) and I would highly recommend!!!

Had a really bad experience after Mudslingers installed our pool. 3 years after install we developed a crack about 10 feet long on one side of the pool. After 15 different attempts to get help, no one ever showed up. They tried to get a sub contractor to come look but never happened. 2 years later all the tile fell off one side of the wall. I begged them to come look and they blamed freeze/thaw damage. I hired a structural engineer and he agreed but not because of my fault, Mudslingers never caulked the expansion joint which allowed water behind the tile and caused the damage. Of course they take zero responsibility for anything. All 4 companies I had estimate the repairs could not believe the expansion joint was never caulked. I even paid for a 3rd party structural engineer who gave me a report stating the same. Very poor workmanship and about the worst service after the sale I have experienced. I spent a total of $12,500 to repair both the tile and have the pool re plastered.

Stay far far away from this company! 4 years later and we are still fixing or correcting issues caused by the horrible installation & services received from this company. I’ve left many many reviews on BBB and social media (which they deleted). I have pictures and emails to support how awful this company is and the nightmare we’ve dealt with from day 1! Don’t walk RUN from this company! We literally have a list of issues during the process and a whole separate list of issues since this installation!

Love our pool, they have been great with helping us troubleshoot or fix any issue we have come across of the years of owning our pool.
