Impressed with all aspects of my experience today at Dawes-Fretzin Dermatology on Shadeland Avenue. Dr Michael Dent was knowledgeable, efficient and caring in performing successful MOHS surgery on my scalp. Clearly, a skilled physician. His assistant, Ashley, was wonderful, answering a myriad of questions and preparing me for surgery, assisting Dr Dent, and handling all post-op care. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. Excellent facilities. I felt like my medical needs were met with concern and professionalism.

Very friendly. Kind and easy to talk to. Jen was knowable and took her time explaining the process to me. My Dr was great. No pain and quick.

Everything was perfect. Very well organized. Get into my appointment 20 minutes sooner than expected. Doc and staff very qualified, professional. They all came highly recommended and lived up to their reputation.

This maybe the most organized physicians office I have received treatment. Dr Dent did an excellent job of explaining the process and allowed me to see what he was doing. The NP’s were all knowledgeable and thorough. We have decided to move our care to this practice.

Dr Countryman is a very dedicated surgeon. Fortunately/ Unfortunately I have had 2 different skin cancer procedures with him. Totally recommend him and Dr Dawes and all the staff are top notch!

I have had a good experience with LASSI. I was happy to get an appointment within two weeks. The office was helpful to me in filling out the forms and scheduling. I feel like the office staff were helpful and pleasant. The healthcare providers in the clinic were very helpful. They listened to my concerns. They proposed treatment for my condition and discussed other possibilities. I will be going back for regular skin checks. Overall, a good experience.

Dr. Sonya Campbell Johnson is so Professional, sincerely empathetic, knowledgeable and an excellent listener. She could run her own practice from the office to patient room if she had to, she knows how she wants her office ran and makes sure it’s ran correctly. She 1000% cares about her patients! I have been her patient almost a decade and she always is truthful, open and honest about different options and really listens if I am needing more convincing of something she educates her patients by printing out reading material to help the patient understand and become knowledgeable. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the people are at Dr. Johnson’s dermatology practice. The staff is very professional and caring. On the way to my appointment, I experienced a minor accident that required immediate first aid which medical assistant Michelle expertly provided. Dr. Johnson then stepped in to complete the process by quickly stitching up my wound. I was patched up in no time in a most efficient and compassionate way. I am so grateful for the care I received. I cannot say thank you enough. 🙂

Dr Johnson and her staff are amazing! Dr Johnson gives you 100% of her attention and explains her findings in detail (answering your follow-up questions along the way) and asks before leaving if there are any other concerns. Her staff are always timely and courteous.

I went in for my routine skin exam and was billed a $55 copay as it was not coded routine. I called several times trying to get clarification and never received a return call with explanation. Instead I kept getting new bills in the mail that were higher and higher as they were charging late fees. I finally got in touch with the manager in billing and explained I had called the office numerous times. She explained the office doesn’t handle billing, it’s separate. I had called both the billing and the provider office on several occasions and yet could not get in touch with anyone. I asked for the coding to be reviewed as I have been multiple times and had previously been credited due to over paying because my insurance did cover preventive care. I also asked for the late fees to be removed as it’s not my fault I couldn’t get to speak to anyone until now. She did reach out to the office, advised they billed it as a diagnosis and not preventive and not would be changed, said Kate fees would not be waived. This is very disappointing when you have tried to do the right thing and called at least 3 times, no one would call you back but they have no problem sending bill after bill. I’ll pay the balance but won’t be back. This is not the first issue with this billing I have had. Every time I go it’s like a chop shop in there. New people every time. One tech almost treated the wrong area and I had to tell her that was not correct. Very unprofessional.

Dr. Natalie is an amazing doctor. He has always listened to me and helped with my issues. He goes above and beyond what other doctors do. He is never dismissive. If you want a doctor that will take care of you, he’s the guy!

Dr. August Natalie and his staff were friendly, professional and compassionate. Dr. Natalie really exceeded my expectations. He was easy to talk to, informative and seemed to genuinely understand my issue and wanted a positive outcome. I truly feel Dr. Natalie and his staff are about as good as it gets.

Dr. Natalie made sure to listen to my issues and offered up a plan that we were both on board with. Instead of just a topical steroid, he suggested a small biopsy, blood work, medication, and another visit to reevaluate in 6 weeks. Great bedside manner, and staff were kind as well.

My experience with forefront dermatology was excellent. I give him a 5 star because they’re worth it. The Doctor was very knowledgeable saw the problem that I had took care of it. Dr. Natalie is absolutely one of the best dermatologists I have ever seen as a patient. He is thorough, knowledgeable, took his time and easy to converse with. I never once felt rushed. His assistant was very kind. I will happily refer any friends and family to his office.

The office called to cancel my appointment less than 15 minutes before the appointment started. I had confirmed with them the day before, filled out all the paperwork, and gotten a phone call and email confirming the appointment the days prior. They called me to let me know that because I scheduled online, the doctor would not have enough time for me… and canceled when I was already AT the office. They said they could reschedule me for 2 months out. Save your time and go somewhere else! I called off a day of work for nothing

STRONGLY recommend for any skin-related issue.

I came in for three different things and the staff was not phased – each was addressed accurately and the wart I had for months (they found it wasn’t actually a wart) is now gone and I couldn’t be happier. Two of the issues I had for years are now being addressed from Forefront’s ability to properly identify what the underlying issue was.

Staff was kind and knowledgeable.

Not a lot of parking, so I’d get there early to be safe on that front. You get 10 minutes past the start of your appointment to make it on time.

The staff were all attentive and efficient. I had no issues getting in for an appt within a month (and there were earlier dates, they just didn’t work for my schedule). That seems to hard to do with dermatology visits. Unfortunately I did need a biopsy but they ensured I was comfortable and I’m happy I made the visit when I did. I don’t feel I’ve had that level of care at other dermatology groups in Indy.

I had an extremely disappointing first appointment as a new patient. The doctor spent less than 10 minutes with me even though I had multiple concerns I tried to discuss with her. All she seemed to care about was doing a quick scan, throwing a few prescriptions at me, and moving on. Her mannerisms made it feel very clear that she had zero interest in getting to know me as a patient. Seeing the amount billed vs time spent with the patient is laughable and infuriating at the same time. I have a follow up scheduled currently but plan to cancel and look to go elsewhere.

I had a very good experience at Forefront Dermatology. Scheduling on line was easy, and I was notified of earlier appointments when they became available. Pleasant and helpful staff. Dr. Steadman was attentive to my skin concerns and provided me with excellent care.

The staff is incredibly professional and friendly. Although my appointments with Dr. Laryn Steadman used to be at the Carmel office, she has recently moved permanently to the Broad Ripple location. While it adds an extra 10 minutes to my travel, it’s absolutely worth it. I highly recommend Dr. Steadman and her team!

I have been going here for my prp scalp treatment to regrow my thinning hair. My results have been incredible! There is just so much new growth I couldn’t be happier. The first two pictures are after I started the PRP treatments, and the second two are before starting the PRP treatments. I have had around 4 or 5 treatments so far and will soon be going down to the one or two annual upkeep treatments.

I got poison ivy on my face and they were able to fit me in the same day. They even did my 6-month skin check at the same appointment, which was super convenient. Both times I’ve been to this office I was seen right on time with no waiting at all. The staff is professional, and the whole experience is always smooth. I really love this place!

So this was my first appointment with Dr. Beth Brogan and she was very nice and attentive. I didn’t feel rushed, like with many other doctors. Beth Brogan is a very caring doctor. She takes the time to listen to concerns & answers as best that she can. She gives a very thorough yearly checkup. When there’s a concern she also very thorough in handling it. I always feel very comfortable having my checkups with her.

I have been seeing Dr. Brogan for many years now. I can’t say enough great things about this practice. The administrative team is kind and welcoming. The medical assistants and transcribers are so friendly. I have never had an issue with wait time. I have waited a bit here and there, but the medical team always communicates that there might be a bit of a wait and truly that’s all that matters. They understand my time is just as valuable and the communication is what makes a bit of waiting not a big deal. Dr. Brogan and her nurse, Donna are the BEST. They are kind, fun, and thorough. Other St. Vincent offices could learn a thing or two from Dr. Brogan and her team. They are simply amazing! I am very appreciative to have them as part of my care team. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Unlike many doctor appointments I’ve had, my appointment with Dr. Beth Brogan was on time! You might think you’re appointment is on time because the doctor doesn’t spend time with the patient. In this case it’s not true. Dr. Beth answered all of my concerns, provided a thorough overview and had one of the best bedside manners. I recommend her to anyone looking for a dermatologist who knows what they’re talking about, listens and answers your concerns and provides suggestions for healthier skin.

Had a good checkup; Carmen, the asst/nurse was kind, efficient, clear, knowledgeable & polite. Laryn Steadman MD was v efficient, got to the chase quickly, we made decisions, and Dr answered all my questions.

Dr Stedman was prompt, professional, pleasant and informative. However I was quite dissatisfied with my visit. I have been experiencing hair loss. I made an appointment online and describe the reason for my visit in detail. It took several months to get in. When I arrived the nurse asked me the reason for my visit. I explained and she said that they wouldn’t be able to do an assessment unless I booked an extended appointment. I knew if I left I would still be charged for the visit and I would be waiting several more months before I could get in so I stayed. I had only an extremely abbreviated assessment where she asked me two or three questions, took a quick look at my scalp, and then in rapid fire fashion listed the various medications that could help. I was then asked to choose what I wanted. I left feeling very uninformed although admittedly it would have been far worse for her to have sent me away and told me I had to rebook and come back in several months.

The Forefront team in Broad Ripple provides excellent service, with staff who send timely reminders and offer flexible scheduling. The office is well-managed, ensuring that visits proceed smoothly and efficiently, while the staff maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Steadman is highly knowledgeable and patient, thoroughly addressing patients’ questions and offering proactive solutions. I strongly recommend both the Forefront team and Dr. Steadman for their exemplary service.

Doctor Steadman was extremely thorough, polite and informative. She explained my treatment plan, gave me the possible side effects and set me up for success. I’m very, very pleased with Dr. Steadman.

Well I had to sign 4 forms that seemed not necessary. When I saw the Dr, Ashley followed but she had her back to me writing. When I made appt. I told them my moles are hereditary so they need to be burned off. I have 4 moles on my nose. Two on top, two at the left & right of my nostril. One on the right stretches middle to far right, that’s the one I kept pointing at that I wanted removed – she got half of it with liquid nitrogen. Now it’s left along with a red sore since it blistered & drained over night. Scab came off during washing, it’s still raised off my skin like before.
It’s not hurting just itching a little. Keep Vaseline on it. Received free samples.
Everyone was civil but I paid 130.00 & I bet that mole or whatever it is remains which is aggravating. And she did not get all of it at all, it’s obvious to me that it was one ugly piece to the right of my nostril. Dana Alfreds

Do not waste your time. I showed up early for my appointment so I expected a bit of wait which is fine, but then I waited an hour past my appointment time to even be taken back. Doctor did not care about my concerns, she just pushed me to another doctor for the procedure I needed. She called in a referral to a doctor that doesn’t even perform the procedure I need. I had to call and figure this all out on my own. If you want to play doctor and have no help from the medical professionals, go here. If you want a doctor that cares even just a little bit go elsewhere.

Excellent experience with Rachel. She listened to my concerns and went over the previous paperwork from the urgent care facility. I was miserable for 3 weeks but felt better after following her medical advice in only a few days. Her prescription changes allowed for a speedy recovery by the end of the week. She is truly asset to your practice.

Have been a patient of Dr Dineen for over 15 years. She always is very personable, and interested in giving me the best care possible. Treatments have been handled swiftly and never any follow-up issues.

I have dealt with psoriasis for 13 yrs tried pills and ointments galore…but Kat listened and cared about me and didn’t stop until we could find a more permanent solution so I could function daily.
