Mavris Arts & Event Center

Extremely lovely venue for other events too outside of weddings. Great time, great staff. The only downsides were you cannot cater outside food. The food was not bad but I would have much rather had our choice of restaurant. The parking lot is free however it is scary to walk from the lot to the venue at night. The location of being central downtown is why we choose the location and not disappointed at all.

The Mavris staff truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day go perfectly. We did not have one single thing go wrong, which is truly a miracle! Their event coordinator, Alexa, worked with us every step of the way and helped contributing to making our day go perfectly. The food was excellent and their collaboration with other vendors was great. I highly recommend choosing the Mavris!

I recently had my wedding at The Mavris Arts & Event Center, and it was nothing short of incredible! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and so memorable. The food was absolutely phenomenal—I had multiple family members asking if they could take some home because it was that good! Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. Another standout for us was the bilingual staff. It made such a difference for my family members who speak little to no English. The staff made them feel comfortable, welcomed, and included, which meant the world to us. A special thank you to Autumn, our wedding coordinator, who went above and beyond. She brought my wedding decor vision to life with such care and attention to detail. I can't thank her enough for making our day look and feel exactly how I dreamed it. If you're looking for a venue with amazing food, exceptional staff, and top-tier service, I highly recommend The Mavris. They made our special day unforgettable.

Mavris art and Event Center is beautiful, Amanda and her staff very friendly and helpful! The buffet although it looked good. It was tasteless Apparently I picked the wrong foods, from what this event Center normally makes. I would recommend it, but if you want soul food order it from a soul food restaurant! All in all we had a great time! The fireworks viewed from the terrace the best.

Stopped by the launch of the new Iron and Ivy Speakeasy and loved the vibe. Upscale and intimate, just steps from the buzz of downtown. Excited to come back for future events.

Our daughter’s wedding at Mavris was amazing! From the very first meeting with Alexa we knew we were in good hands. Her and the entire Mavris staff didn’t overlook one detail. The space is gorgeous and the food is delicious! I highly recommend Mavris for any event.

My husband and I got married here one month ago and had the most amazing experience!! We worked with Alexa who was so helpful every step of the way. I was a Type B bride due to being very busy with life/work but it didn’t matter because the staff and coordinators at the Mavris took care of so much of the stress and little details that come with planning a wedding and we had the kind of day I don’t even think I’d be capable of planning even if I was a Type A kind of bride! All of our guests have talked non stop about the beauty of the venue as well as the dinner and hors d’oeuvres! If anyone is looking for a wedding venue and is daunted by the idea of planning a wedding this venue was perfect and made the whole process easy!
