Drive Zone

I had after a month and one bad review managed to get in co tact with someone to schedule and take the lessons I had paid for already. But to the credit of the employees who actually do the driving test is that the quality of the lessons were very good and the teachers were very patient. How ever to undercut the quality of the performance of their employees is the fact that after a change to my work schedule I had attempted to contact them to reschedule the last 2 lessons of the 6 I had paid for (at no small expense) they had redirected me, after cancellation of those lessons, to go to the website to reschedule however there is no such function on the website. You can see upcoming scheduled lessons but not reschedule any. I had emailed twice by this point and called to get in touch with someone but now I have received radio silence from them and will simply assume that they had wasted $200 worth of lessons.

Our daughter struggled with taking her driving test through the BMV. She struggled with some test taking anxiety so we booked a driving session with Drive Zone, specifically with Stephen. He was wonderful! He had a calm presence along with an encouraging disposition which caused our daughter to feel more at ease making her drive lesson an anxiety-free, productive experience. Stephen was just awesome and our daughter is now a much more confident driver and now has her license. Thank you Drive Zone for recommending Stephen. We are forever grateful.

No response to phone calls. I wasted 50 mins of my time driving there to find out they are remote with no notifications. Very rude people and company!

I purchased the $374 bundle that included the 30 hour online course and the 6 hours of behind the wheel training. I bought the bundle in December and didn’t get to do behind the wheel training until February 27th, no worries though. All of my behind the wheel trainings were booked with Rachel except one, Rachel was very nice and informative. I had one session with Destiny. Destiny was very rude! She scolded me when I made mistakes instead of trying to constructively explain what I did wrong. She was overall just rude. My overall experience was good, I didn’t have to take the road test at the bmv, I was able to take it with Rachel which made me feel better!

Almost impossible to schedule lessons. I am glad I finally received some response from them after posting a public review. When I first reached out to know about the classes, they would respond immediately to emails and messages with information. And once the payment (that had to made upfront for all lessons) was made, I had to literally write multiple times to arrange lessons. I got fed up of finding time for doing this on top of my normal work schedule, I ended up not bothering to finish the package I signed up for. Not giving a one star, as the classes with Rachel were okay.

Edited review. I had initially left a one star review because it seemed like they were going to just take the money and never schedule a driving date. The same day I posted the review, they got the driving date scheduled. This is probably not a coincidence, and it is a shame that consumers have to post a negative review in order to simply get the service they paid for. Now that driving training has started, I can rate the training service itself as good. The trainer not only focuses on what is needed for the test, but also general good safety practices.
