Staff was very helpful and instructor’s were driven, very knowledgeable and ambitious on helping you achieve the ultimate goal of passing for your state testing.

I came to the school with no knowledge of a tractor or trailer. I left with a complete knowledge and understanding of them both. The teachers were very patient and friendly. It was a great experience for me.

Went there almost 11 years ago. Not complaints. Taught me what I needed to pass the CDL test, then you go with a carrier and learn real world driving! Most of the instructors that were there when I went have left.

Me personally had some adjustment, problems that were resolved by the school and instructor’s. For the program that’s set in place is a overall great place to start your careers. Thanks all who pushed me to graduation!

C1 has been an amazing experience I took this certification back in June of 2023, I decided 2025 I wanted to go ahead and get my hazmat endorsement, I reached out to the company, I was forwarded to Kristen!!! When I tell you she covered every avenue, updated my information in the system, sent me multiple links and emails. Made sure I had two different numbers to reach her if I needed anything to prevent this process from being delayed. Extremely patient and professional. I could not have asked for a bad experience thanks C1!!

160 Academy is a great program all around in my opinion. The instructors on the yard are very helpful. They really want you to pass the final exam. They explain everything you need to know and don’t skip any steps. Any bad reviews, ignore. It’s all up to you and how bad you want it. Trust me 160 is worth it. And it’s also worth the wait if you’re not on the yard in time.

Great school and wonderful instructors, it’s worth it all the more if you get your cdl for manual transmission. You get more time behind the wheel and more time doing test drives. As someone who never drove manual before its hard at first but with dedication and a calm mind, anything is possible

Awesome in 1 word. The instructors at the Truck training Yard were spot on in training me in creating space, watching for points in maneuvering. controlling your trailer, and the seriousness of safety on the road. Great group of individuals, each instructor has a different way of teaching, pay attention, know what you come for, and lastly, you just have to listen.

Great program! A few to get my CDL Class A is not bad at all. They even prepare me for the permit prior to the yard!

We had such a good experience! Our son was a very reluctant driver and dreaded the whole process, but James could not have been kinder and more patient with him. He was also very accommodating in picking up our son at home for driving lessons rather than having us go to the office (for a small fee, but totally worth it from our perspective!). I just wish my own driver’s ed classes and instructor had been this great! And as of today, we have a licensed driver, so — success!!! Thumbs way up!

These guys are the best. I don’t think I would have had a better experience anywhere else. Mr. James was always attentive to every detail and made sure I understood where I need to improve. I can’t recommend Circle City Driving enough! They did an outstanding job instructing my 16 year old son and helping him develop excellent driving habits. I especially appreciate the instruction on roundabouts, following distance, high way and inclement weather conditions driving. Yes he got practice in heavy rain conditions. The option to occasionally schedule early morning drives that began and ended at his high school, along with convenient weekend sessions, made scheduling a breeze. As a parent, I felt relieved knowing he was in such capable hands. To my surprise, I even learned a few valuable driving tips from him along the way! If you’re looking for a reliable and effective driving school, Circle City Driving is the way to go!

The school was great it’s definitely given me a new found respect for all cdl drivers much respect! Big Shout out to every Teacher at the school who helped me pass my evaluations they took their time even when times got frustrating they stay right there with me until I got it right ! He’s very flexible and allows students to spend as much time behind the wheel as they need. I was able to get my license in just 22 days, even with part-time classes. Best truck driving school is really the best. I didn’t know anything about trucks when I started my classes with them, but just one month later i was ready to take my test & I passed. Timing is the best. Price is the best. Instructors are the best( though sometimes Mr Paul shouts but he is so friendly and always wants the students to do their best. Mr Shiv looks a little nervous but he teaches all we need to know about the truck and the test).
I, who passed the test at the first try, highly recommend this school for those seeking the best truck school. You have plenty of times to drive in the yard and also go on the road. They don’t only teach and let the students go, but also train you till you pass the test. That’s what we need.

Excellent day time class experience. ALL the teachers were hands on and patient with me. Matt the yard lead was very helpful and understanding. I want to especially give thanks to the instructors that I worked with the most, Tee she was very patient with me, taught me how to do a straight line back within 30 minutes when I really struggled with it for months while I was a student on nights. Also she took the time out to actually show me what I needed to do/know for all the maneuvers. Mrs. Christina for helping me understand what to look for as well and also thanks for the endless laughs. Ms. Janet for teaching me what I need to look out for on the road while driving a semi since this is a career change for me I felt comfortable on the road/driving part with her. 160 is a great school and option to go with, I had a great experience with the guys on the range. All the trainers were subpar and great to work with, I would strongly recommend 160 to anyone out there interested in get your CDL’s. Phil was a great yard leader, and have amazing leadership!

Great school! The instructors are excellent at explaining everything clearly and with patience. The trucks are new and very clean, which makes the training comfortable and safe. I stayed only two weeks and then passed my CDL test successfully. The prices are also very reasonable compared to other schools. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to get their CDL quickly and efficiently.

It was really a great fun and pleasure being a student of coastline academy. The staff always answered my calls and tried their level best to adjust my lessons according to my time. And ofcourse, Lillie. K was the instructor for both me and my daughter and together we did it. She even took my lessons on her days off on my request.
Hardwork made us pass the knowledge test and driving test at one go, and for the later, the credit goes to Lillie. She was never impatient with us.
Always encouraged every second.I wish Lillie will again teach my younger one after 4 years. So coastline academy see you again after 4 years.

My experience with coastline was very pleasant! Especially I had the luxury to have all 3 drivers as my instructor! My tip for you people new to trying coastline is that, if you are booking a lesson, make sure to have Darren at least once! He will train you to perfection! He was the instructor I can’t give enough credit to honestly! He worked on every point of the flaws for beginner drivers, my reaction, judgement, and scanning ability drastically improved just by booking him! God bless Darren, Michael, and Lily! All are amazing with their strong parts!

My son absolutely loved his driver. He said she was very attentive and understanding. He said that she made him feel safe and that she was knowing. I also appreciate coastline offering house pick ups.

I recently took my driving test with Coastline Academy, and I had great time when working with Darren. At first, I was feeling really nervous, but Darren immediately helped me relax by offering some sweet candies and sharing fun facts. His kind and friendly demeanor really made a big difference.

Darren is really a wonderful instructor and clearly understands the psychology behind teaching. He knew exactly how to keep me relaxed and focused, and thanks to that, I was able to perform really well during the test. After that, he also shared so many practical and helpful driving tips that I can carry with me for life.

I feel sooooo lucky to know Darren and learned so much from him. His kindness, patience, and encouraging attitude make him someone you’ll never forget. I believe everyone around him must feel just as lucky to have him in their lives.

I had an appointment scheduled for 9:00 AM today, and Darren was my instructor. First and foremost, his demeanor is that of a caring, thoughtful and genuine person, exactly what I would hope for in an instructor. When I entered his office he offered me a nice cold bottle of water before he took extra time to go over the rules of the test with me. He made sure I understood what was an automatic fail and what was expected of a driver to pass the test. During the test, I was never anxious or nervous with him in the passenger seat. He was ready to help in case of emergency (thankfully there were none!) and I noticed he was very attentive to the test and to the road. They had me use a hybrid vehicle to test in and it was the smoothest car I’ve ever driven (you can’t even hear it start up, I might have to get me one!). I was happy to shake his hand afterwards; great instructor and a great experience!

Darren is the best coach. Kind and no pressure at all. I have more knowledge and more confident. For sure my driving is a lot better. Thanks him and coastline school.

I had after a month and one bad review managed to get in co tact with someone to schedule and take the lessons I had paid for already. But to the credit of the employees who actually do the driving test is that the quality of the lessons were very good and the teachers were very patient. How ever to undercut the quality of the performance of their employees is the fact that after a change to my work schedule I had attempted to contact them to reschedule the last 2 lessons of the 6 I had paid for (at no small expense) they had redirected me, after cancellation of those lessons, to go to the website to reschedule however there is no such function on the website. You can see upcoming scheduled lessons but not reschedule any. I had emailed twice by this point and called to get in touch with someone but now I have received radio silence from them and will simply assume that they had wasted $200 worth of lessons.

Our daughter struggled with taking her driving test through the BMV. She struggled with some test taking anxiety so we booked a driving session with Drive Zone, specifically with Stephen. He was wonderful! He had a calm presence along with an encouraging disposition which caused our daughter to feel more at ease making her drive lesson an anxiety-free, productive experience. Stephen was just awesome and our daughter is now a much more confident driver and now has her license. Thank you Drive Zone for recommending Stephen. We are forever grateful.

No response to phone calls. I wasted 50 mins of my time driving there to find out they are remote with no notifications. Very rude people and company!

I purchased the $374 bundle that included the 30 hour online course and the 6 hours of behind the wheel training. I bought the bundle in December and didn’t get to do behind the wheel training until February 27th, no worries though. All of my behind the wheel trainings were booked with Rachel except one, Rachel was very nice and informative. I had one session with Destiny. Destiny was very rude! She scolded me when I made mistakes instead of trying to constructively explain what I did wrong. She was overall just rude. My overall experience was good, I didn’t have to take the road test at the bmv, I was able to take it with Rachel which made me feel better!

Almost impossible to schedule lessons.

I am glad I finally received some response from them after posting a public review.

When I first reached out to know about the classes, they would respond immediately to emails and messages with information. And once the payment (that had to made upfront for all lessons) was made, I had to literally write multiple times to arrange lessons. I got fed up of finding time for doing this on top of my normal work schedule, I ended up not bothering to finish the package I signed up for.

Not giving a one star, as the classes with Rachel were okay.

I had initially left a one star review because it seemed like they were going to just take the money and never schedule a driving date.

The same day I posted the review, they got the driving date scheduled. This is probably not a coincidence, and it is a shame that consumers have to post a negative review in order to simply get the service they paid for.

Now that driving training has started, I can rate the training service itself as good. The trainer not only focuses on what is needed for the test, but also general good safety practices.

Gwendolyn Jackson is the BEST!!! She taught my daughter so much and was patient and kind. If you need a great instructor definitely ask for Gwen!!

The BMV didn’t have any appointments for driving tests, so we used CIESC for that so my 18 yo daughter could get her license. She was very nervous, but Ben helped her stay calm, answered all her questions, and then tested her. It was a quick, easy experience.

My daughter had Gwendolyn Jackson as her instructor through CIESC. She was wonderful! We did have to wait a couple of months for an initial time to open up, but then it was easy to schedule with Ms. Jackson for all her lessons.
She gave my daughter lots of practical advice, and focused on driver safety and awareness of her surroundings. My daughter felt very comfortable with Ms. Jackson because she was patient and calm.

My son had Mrs. Jackson as his instructor and she was fantastic. She provided him great feedback and many tidbits to carry forward as he begins this new journey.

I LOVED my experience!! I already had my permit and only needed help getting my license. The instructor Ben Juffer was straight forward, understanding, and helpful!!! I now have my license THANKS

After some hiccups and ironing things out, we had the best instructor! Mr Owens really adapted to my daughters busy schedule and assisted in getting her behind the wheel time in quickly! We appreciated him so much!
