Here’s a polished Yelp-style review at around 100 words, keeping the honest and balanced tone: The Bang Bang shrimp is good and probably my favorite item from the meal, with a nice flavor and satisfying texture. The chicken egg roll is okay, nothing special but fine as a starter. The fish and chips are also just okay—I’m personally not a big fan of that dish here. The salmon is good and cooked well, but it leans on the sweet side, so if you don’t like sweet flavors, it may not be the best choice. The crab cake is not bad and worth trying. Overall, a mixed experience with some solid highlights.
My dining experience at the restaurant was outstanding. I had been looking forward to trying this establishment, since there’s not a location in my area. Upon visiting, I found that they were hosting an event for members, which affected the service but not by much. However, the seasonal martini was superb and refreshing, a true delight. The food was exceptionally fresh and full of flavor. The Cod was cooked to perfection, paired with an amazingly delightful lemon-caper butter sauce. The Mahi-mahi and shrimp were expertly grilled and seasoned. The bang bang shrimp were delicious, an absolute must-try from the menu. The chargrilled oysters possessed a smoky, buttery, garlicky flavor, making them irresistibly delicious and my top choice. I plan to return to the restaurant, primarily to enjoy the oysters once again.
Our experience was pleasant. Our waitress was very friendly. We did have to wait a bit for drink refills but nothing too long, I just hate having to ask for a refill at all. There was a small ~seafood smell~ when we walked in that wasn’t the most welcoming. Our booth was very spacious and could accommodate 3 adults plus a baby in a car seat comfortably. All of our food was very good and came out quickly, portion size was maybe on the smaller side compared to price point. Our biggest complaint was the drunken coconut pie. It is served with a rum sauce, and the rum was not nearly cooked down enough, which was surprising for a dessert. Take the word "drunken" literally if you order this. Overall we enjoyed our time and we will be back!
I think they were having a rough day. The table next to us got the full run down of the specials, our server wasn’t tentative, we barely got water and he didn’t discuss the menu. Although it was lunch time and only 6 people for some reason it was very slow. My usual dish is the cedar plank salmon however comma as you can see it wasn’t presented correctly and the sweetness from the berries spilled into my mash potatoes (yuck). I’m giving them grace, but my review is to actually raise awareness about the infamous Bang Bang shrimp. This is my 3rd time in the last 9 months and the recipe has changed. The color, texture and taste are different these days and I won’t be ordering it for a while. The breading doesn’t stay on the shrimp which is incorrect maybe they’re bringing it out too fast but never should it be ok to fall apart and each time the staff justifies it so I’ll just not order it. And yes this is how he sat my plate down I took 1 bite and took the picture. The broccoli scattered and sauce all on the plate luckily this wasn’t my first time.
A friend and I went to Bonefish Grill off of Allisonville Rd impromptu on a Sunday. We were able to eat from their brunch menu and had some seasonal options. Had the bang, bang shrimp as an appetizer and it was good! I had the shrimp and grits and my friend had the grouper and crab cake; both were absolutely delicious! We also had the druken coconut cake and the chocolate creme brule (again both really good). Kate and Collin were our servers and both were so great! Was a very nice experience and definitely anticipating returning!
Used the curbside pickup service and everything was good and my order was correct! I was disappointed with the dessert portion size I felt for the cost the portion size was not equitable. Otherwise good food and service!
DELICIOUS!!! Best pumpkin ravioli I always get a double portion!!! The filet is small but amazing on flavor and always cooked perfectly. Staff is always friendly and attentive!!! Swordfish cut like butter and was amazing!!! Sit on the bar side it’s quiet and cozy too.
