Bicycle Garage Indy & BGI Fitness - Southport Road

My wife and I both purchased new bikes recently and had a great experience. Luke was great to work with; super easygoing, knew his stuff, and made the whole process extremely simple. He helped us figure out exactly what we each needed and made sure we left happy. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Ok, BGI, your counter guy could not have been more insulting. That left-over counter / manager from the previous shop has not changed his rude disposition. BGI greenwood - never had a bad experience. Went today to check out the sale, and buy an electric bike, but the moronic, anti-salesmanship of the guy behind the counter with the flowered shirt motivated us to walk out. "Sure, maybe $20 bucks for the trade-in" - really?? In front of everyone? I knew the value of the bike but my wife loved it and didn’t need to hear your pompous comment. Probably just setting expectations, right? Plenty of other comments could have been found by a competent and people-oriented employee. Our sales guy was nice and friendly, though. Two stars awarded for the nice guy and the guys hard at work fixing bikes, to be fair. Won’t be back.

I wish I would have gotten everyone's names who helped me today. Came in to get two bicycles fixed. From the beginning every person I came in contact with was friendly and so helpful. They fixed both bikes very quickly and the price was way lower than I thought it would have been. I honestly don't think the experience could have been better. This place is amazing and professional, if you need a bike or need something repaired, they are awesome!

I stopped by around 6 pm yesterday evening, there were 2 or 3 customers being helped. Looked like 2 guys buying some repair parts and not sure about the others. I was interested in more information and looking into a Specialized EPIC 8 Comp I have been looking at through the Specialized website. I walked around for about 15 minutes or more while others were being helped. I was never acknowledged or asked if I had any questions or needed assistance. One or two people stood behind the counter talking about reasons they don't do daily transfers yet never gave me the time of day. I use to be in the Bicycle Industry and continue to work in various types of Sales and Customer Service and this opportunity lost is not acceptable in any market. I left and will not return. I doubt this is the normal expectation but if it happened to me it will happen again. Time to look to do better for the next person looking to spend money.

Never disappointed with Bicycle Garage on Southport Road. Ben ordered new grips which didn't end of fitting with my mirror. When the mirror didn't work Luke replaced my handle bars and added a new mirror which fit my new grips all free of charge ~ no questions asked. I think Ben may have even smiled once! 🙂 Gina Sermersheim

Amazing customer service, and a great selection of bikes! Luke was awesome and extremely helpful, and really wanted to ensure I got the right bike. Overall, my experience was fantastic and I highly recommend coming here to buy your next bike.

This place is AWESOME!! They fixed my bike & had me in & out of there in less than 15 minutes & the best part was they didn't even charge me! Very good & Very honest professional guys here! This is the best place for any & ALL bicycle riding/needs. My fiance & I are now able to enjoy our bike rides again!! ZOOM ZOOM , anyways this place rocks! I highly recommend, Thanks Bicycle Garage!!
