Arthur's Music Store

Been to Arthur’s a number of times with my husband. I always appreciated the bench right inside the door when I could sit and read or crochet. This time, however, I was the customer looking to purchase my first ukulele. Emily took all the time in the world with me, answering my 300 questions. I could not have dreamed up a better experience. Thank you!

Worked with Steve on a vintage guitar they had on consignment. We didn’t end up being able to make the numbers work but I have before in the past. His customer service was so high throughout the extended I wanted to write a review here just for the assistance. Thanks Steve and team!

Oh, the delightful older lady with the short hair who I suppose is the owner, was just a joy to encounter. Such a shining example of kindness and hospitality. I simply can't wait to go back and experience her charming personality all over again. Just kidding she is awful and wont be back again she needs to get a new Attitude/ Personality! Just Horrible! How did I not know about this place? They have a very wide range of stringed instruments. I found a mandola, a bouzouki, a selection of dulcimer, and a bunch of other cool stuff. They also stock instruments at a range of prices. If you are on a budget, you'll have lots of options. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I brought in a guitar I made, just to see what they thought. They gave me some good comments and really spent time with me. I was also looking at mandolins. The lady I talked with was most helpful. I'm definitely coming back. If you like stringed instruments, check this place out.

Great music store in Indy. I love that is local and has been in Fountain Square a long time. Highly recommend for those who play stringed instruments!
