We love Uptown Pup and so do our dogs! We use them for doggy day care, boarding, and grooming. The staff truly love our girls, communicate thoroughly, and even post some great pictures.

When we show up for day care the dogs push each other out of the way to be the first out of the car.

Our dog attends daycare once a week, and it has been a fantastic experience from day one. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and consistently keeps us informed, ensuring that our pup is happy, healthy, and thriving while in their care.

She absolutely loves going—so much so that she runs (literally!) into the building with excitement every time we arrive. It’s clear the team genuinely cares about each dog’s individual needs and works hard to make sure every dog enjoys their day to the fullest.

There are not enough words for the amount of happiness Uptown Pup has brought us and our pup, Sally. In fact, we won’t take her anywhere else. See, Sally was a true Houdini when it came to getting out of her crate/enclosure, etc. So, we have always put 100% of our trust into the wonderful staff at Uptown Pup.

The staff is also so responsive and easy to work with! They keep in contact, answer questions and go above and beyond with their customer service.

Since our dog prefers human vs. dog interaction, Sally was one of the pioneering dogs of Uptown Pup’s “Enrichment” program where dogs get 1:1 time with a human to play games with. Josiah is Sally’s favorite enrichment friend – he knows so much about her and pushes her to become even smarter than she already is.

Our dog has been going to daycare at Uptown Pup for 3 years, and it is her favorite place! She is always so excited when we pull up, and we love knowing that she is having a fun, safe day when she is there. The staff are so caring to the dogs, and we know our pup is always in good hands at Uptown Pup. They also helped us with puppy training and do an amazing job grooming our curly golden doodle. We highly recommend to anyone with a dog in Indianapolis!

Our dog Luna has attended several training classes at Uptown Pup with Jimmy, most recently the advanced class! We have learned so much throughout our time in classes. Jimmy’s style of teaching is fun, practical and puts us as dog owners at ease. Every class, we come away with additional tips and tricks that help us to understand Luna’s behavior and bond with her! There was a point in time where every walk with Luna was so stressful, and now we have so much fun being out with her 🙂 It’s been such a joy watching Luna transform and learn new things. Our pups love Uptown Pup. Whenever we come for grooming or boarding, their tails just wag and wiggle. The entire team spoils them and treats them like their own. We always feel good and safe leaving our boys in their care. We give them two paws up.

I have been taking my Irish Golden Doodle dog child to Catlynn and Sleepy Hallow for well over a year now. We live downtown and had tried a few different very expensive different places. No one could give him a. it’s cut. He has different hair than a straight doodle bc of the Irish Setter. It’s not as tight so it doesn’t mat unless it’s super long and barely then. He came back full face shaved once, all kinds of embarrassing. My niece recommended Sleepy Hallow. She boards her dogs here.

Catlynn has helped me get River back to his cute authentic self It is also much more affordable for dogs that need more frequent cuts.

Catlynn and the entire staff have been incredibly kind not only to River but to me as well. Going above and beyond to treat us like family.

We highly recommend them and it’s really not far from Bates Hendricks/Garfield Park/Fountain Square area!

There are not a lot of options for cat grooming around Indy but I was recommended Sleepy Hollow by my veterinarian. I had a great experience with their service. I have a long haired cat who was well overdue for some grooming. He had matted fur and they were able to take care of him. He ended up needed a full lion shave but he’s in much better shape now. I appreciated the communication on how the process went. I will return for future cat grooming! Thank you!

I have no clue what they did to my dog. I boarded my pup here for a couple weeks and I was scared to death because of how timid he is. However, when he returned home he was like a new, refreshed dog. He had more confidence and energy. He also picked up some good habits, like laying down while he waits and walking better on leash.

I can’t say enough great things! They put my mind at ease with daily report cards, great communication, and add-on’s they offer. I was able to make sure he got his exercise and treats. You can also bring your pups own toys and belongings, which was great for a pup who needs his emotional support toy.

I also had him groomed before pick up and of course they worked their magic there too. They got him to cooperate somehow and he was soooo soft. Even his little, dry paw pads were all softened up.

I have to say the price scared me a bit, a little too good to be true. I had someone on stand by in case something went wrong. I was unsure my pup would get proper care at their prices, but I stand corrected and blown away! They don’t appear to cut corners. I think they really care about all the fur babies and I plan to use them again! Despite having been to training and doggy day care elsewhere, this is the one place that he came back from as a whole new happy pup

I have two dogs, with my bigger dog being my “special” boy. He has separation anxiety and can shut down if his routine gets off. I was very nervous boarding my dogs and the staff at Sleepy Hollow did such a great job at easing my anxiety. We boarded them for 9 nights and they took such great care of my boys!! My dogs were happy at pickup and you could tell they were well cared for. The daily report card is a fun touch. Sleepy Hollow allowed us to come tour their facility before booking and that really helped ease my mind. Highly recommend this boarding facility. We will definitely use them the next time we are out of town.

Our huge GSD (105+ lbs and tall) with horrible separation anxiety always loved his time at Sleepy Hollow (usually 2-3 day trips). He could be a handful and very particular about handling, but they always accommodated our sweet boy and welcomed him. If needed, they even reinforce the kennels for strong, determined pups like him. 🙂 We were always so grateful to have a boarder we could trust to keep him safe and happy even through his anxiety! We still recommend them to everyone. Included a video of our big baby. ❤️

I love Sleepy Hollow Pet Ranch! My Bassett Hound, Hudson, has never smelt or felt better after a groomers more than when he visits Sleepy Hollow! Amazing work! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Took my wife here for her birthday and I’ve never ridden a horse before. It was so much fun and my horse Mo was really cute. The trail guide Cece was amazing and obviously a great trainer. My wife has been on tons of trail rides and says this has been her favorite experience. Thanks so much!

What an amazing farm. The horses are beautiful. The goats are funny. The pigs were singing to us. The two ducks were very friendly. I named this cat, “Ol Nasty Tom”. He slept under my coat. Oared a canoe in a pond. Saw a flock of crane flying over head, heading south. Two hanging skeletons gave me a fright, thought I was a goner for sure. A big sheep w dew on it. Great time, best day ever

One of our daughters has been taking weekly lessons here for over a year and she loves it! She even had a birthday party here and all of her friends had a great time as well. The owners are friendly and this place stays busy with trail rides and lessons.

This was me and my daughter first time horse back riding. My daughter is nonverbal and the instructor did a great job reassuring her and making sure that she’s okay throughout the trail ride I really appreciated it.

Our family had such a fantastic reunion here!! Great space for lots of cousins to play and spend time together. We enjoyed swimming in the lake, grilling out on the balcony, volleyball, visiting the animals everyday, and hiking. There’s enough space for everyone to have a place to sleep and the kitchen and dining area is big enough for 22 people to comfortably enjoy cooking and eating together. Hosts were friendly and welcoming and we had a fabulous week here at the cabin and cottage!

This hidden gem in Brownsburg offers trail riding for all ages, and horseback riding camp for kids. The instructors do a phenomenal job of teaching the kids how to take care of a horse, clean its stall and ride a horse properly. My son has been enjoying this camp experience immensely. While there you should check out the animal farm (cats, ducks, chickens, roosters, goats and pigs). Some of them roam freely throughout the day. Even there are horses to view and admire on the grounds. If you love horses and horseback riding then look no further than Natural Valley Ranch.

Had horses, ponies, chickens, ducks, pigs, rabbits, goats, and sheep. The 3 year olds were allowed to pet everything and even got to meet 2 horses up close. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were allowed to get in the pin with the goats, which they loved.

They are fantastic trainers. My puppy came back home much better behaved, and I now understand my part in helping my dog do the right things. He is much happier and I am far less frustrated.

We adopted a deaf pit mix puppy into a home with a six year old pit mix we adopted 4 years ago with severe anxiety issues. The puppy was aggressive with the adult which was very concerning to us. As a last resort I decided that board and train was my only choice to save this puppy, and it did. It’s only been 2 weeks since he has been home- but we’ve got this! It’s on me to see the pre-aggressive behavior and intervene and I can. Board and train is a big step emotionally and financially. We have experience with special needs dogs but I was over my head here. My first responsibility was to the existing dog, and the idea of surrendering a deaf puppy was so disheartening I would have tried anything to avoid it. The bottom line here is this,. Jon and Indy K9 saved this dog’s life, there is just no other way to say it.

We brought our rescue dog here for obedience training and were very impressed with the results! Our dog has a ton of energy, but Jon and his team helped improve her demeanor and taught us how to effectively walk and train her with a pinch and ecollar. Highly recommend! We also appreciate the chance to board our dog here from time to time so she can see familiar faces.

I chose Indy K-9 (owned by Jonathan Combs) as a trainer for my dog, Boss. I did extensive online research and conducted phone interviews searching for the right trainer. After a lot of research and speaking with Jonathan directly, I selected his 30 day course for Boss and couldn’t be happier with the results! Boss is well behaved and Jonathan has taught me so much as a new dog owner. I’ve had many questions over the last year and he’s always available to promptly reply and help me be the best dog owner I can be. Boss now visits Jonathan for boarding when I’m out of town for work. I never worry about Boss when I’m gone. I know Jonathan’s depth of knowledge, dedication to his clients (human and furry ones ) and passion for the well-being of dogs are used to keep Boss physically safe, mentally happy, and emotionally secure. I’m thankful that Boss and I found Indy K-9!

Took My Dog Joker to Jon at Indy K-9 due to Joker needing some behavior training. Honestly I was a bit skeptical due to past experiences with other Dog trainers. So I didn’t know what to expect when it came to results at the end.
Fortunately Jon was the first trainer that gave me the training results that he said he would in regards to Jokers training.
And I am Very Happy I decided to have Indy K-9 do Jokers Training.
I know there is still some at Home work of Me being consistent and working with Joker daily to keep and further the training Joker received from Indy K-9 as expected with any training, but Jon was able to get a Good start on it with Joker and got me to a point that I am Very Happy with.

Our family was very hesitant to send our very small chihuahua to training for 4 weeks, but it was a great decision. She had several behavior issues we needed resolved: territorial, biting and overall doing whatever she wanted. Upon her return she is the same dog, but she now is able to listen and obey all the commands Jon taught her. We are now 4 months out and she still knows what is expected of her and obeys all of her commands. I cannot recommend Jon enough.

First off, let me say that this was a very big decision for our family and we took a lot of time researching our options. I couldn’t imagine being without our pup for 4 weeks. After meeting with Jon, I felt confident and fully comfortable with our choice. Winnie, our Great Dane/Doberman puppy, isn’t a “new dog” after training. She is the same amazing girl, but with more confidence and manners. She now has a strong foundation and understands what is expected. She is much happier than when we tried other training methods. Obviously there is still work involved on our part, but Jon made sure we had all of the tools to succeed and was there to answer any questions throughout the process. The results exceeded our expectations. With 2 young kids, this training was a godsend. We are thrilled with the results and would highly recommend Indy K-9.

Calista grooms our Dalmatian puppy and we will not be going anywhere else! Our dog always comes home smelling so good and is so soft! They do such an amazing job here. Prices are amazing as well! It’s hard to find someone you trust, so I’m glad I don’t have to worry about that! I just drop her off and run my errands until she’s ready. Always such a great experience!

We take our Rocky here for grooming. Ally is the best! She’s the only person we trust and he trusts her as well. It’s always clean, the staff is knowledgeable and the prices are great. Large selection of products too.

Amazing store and their grooming deals are top notch!!! Just a lovely experience in every sense of the word! The environment is very relaxed and peaceful! Ps-ask for the amazing groomer Bekah if your pup has anxiety!

Not very happy. First time using them to get my Shih Tzu groomed. Wanted face rounded didn’t happen, and tail not cut, didn’t happen! Cut her tail short and face not rounded. Paid $70 and Alley didn’t mention she cut her paw/toenail. Phoebe was bleeding! I chose Pet Supplies because they were closer than our other groomer and very disappointed. Also, blow drying was included in the price and she said she didn’t blow dry her just let her sit in the crate. Phoebe is home licking her paw she is in pain. Might need to take her to the vet to get checked out! Upset with this whole experience!

Love this particular store. They are the only store to have my babies food. Everytime I go in their staff are friendly and accommodating. I drive from Avon to get my babies food, litter etc.

Had our dog groomed here by a girl named Maxx and it was a terrible experience. Pretty sure I paid $60 for absolutely nothing, our pup didn’t look any different than when we dropped him off nor did he smell any better. Additionally, I asked her to outline his legs and tail and trim around the ears, even paid extra and clearly it was not done. It was late in the evening and I had one of my young daughters with me so we weren’t up for staying and arguing but we definitely will not be returning here…ever.

Amanda was very helpful to my husband today talking about his new freshwater 20 gallon tank! We are doing a fishless cycle right now and eventually will get fish from here. We are excited and he’s visited maybe multiple times a day since buying his tank. We are so grateful that this store is 2 minutes from our house and that he can get all of the expert help he needs!

I have been in multiple times just to look around and today I decided to finally buy something. They always have a beautiful assortment of plants for nice prices so I picked up a marble queen pothos, as well as a betta (he is BEAUTIFUL) He is so active and you can tell he was loved and cared for. (they even name their bettas which I think is adorable) I always have a great experience when I come in!

The staff at The Reef are outstanding, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They were even happy to help with questions/suggestions over the phone and responded to inquiries on social media. The store has a massive selection of freshwater and saltwater fish and the accessories, food, treatments etc that you will need. All of the tanks are very clean and the animals seem very healthy. Ownership cares about customer service and provided support within 24 hours. Looking forward to doing continued business with a long-standing local company.

Easily the best, most knowledgeable, and cleanest aquarium store in Indianapolis. The selection is unmatched. Literally. In both aquatic plants and fish alike. If there’s a fish you can’t find anywhere else, or a plant odds are they sell it here for a very reasonable price. The employees are very happy to see repeat customers here too which is very nice! I’ve never had a bad interaction with any of the employees. I live 30+ minutes away and consistently come back here. They are easily the best fish store in Indianapolis.

I truly wouldn’t recommend coming to this establishment just based off of how the employees treat their customers. You could be very knowledgeable on what you want, have your set up acclimated and good to go. YET, they still talk to you as if you are a toddler. This store is about an hour from home, and I wanted to check it out while we were in town. Great selection and staff asked us many times if we needed help. Picked up some water lettuce. Looking forward to coming back for some fishy friends and shrimp after I get my tank fully cycled. Store was clean and had a great selection of fish and plants.

I’m very happy I stopped here! They had so many plant, snail, and shrimp options. Andrew helped us and not only was he knowledgeable, but you can tell he has a genuine appreciation/love for aquatic animals. We will definitely be back!

set up an appointment to get our kitten neutered & microchipped. super impressed with how organized their facility is with being so high volume. parking is a little difficult but i expected that knowing how many spays/neuters they do. waited about 20 minutes in our car & then got a call to come inside. a member of their staff explained the process every step of the way. we got a call when he was out of surgery letting us know he did well & if we wanted to pick him up early. super happy with the care they provided! will recommend! Awesome! Place to go once you get there. Everyone is helpful. Friendly, larger and lots of seating. Everything moves fairly quickly. I was surprised. Takes a while to check out but and they got to make sure everything’s right.

Best and cheapest place to keep your pets healthy. I made an appt. that was 3 weeks out for vaccines, heart worm test and nail trim. Wait time in lobby was about 15 min. Highly recommend.

Good option for low-cost services for your furhead! Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. We had our fur baby neutered and the end results were fantastic, she is doing well and after just one day she was ready to run and jump as if nothing had been done. All being said it was a good experience, I recommend FACE for all services if needed.

My cat is Ms Kitty Williams , we have been going to Face for ten years now. I love it. Customer service very good, location close, kitty gets her shots and I get records which I have to provide to management where I live. Overall great place for our fury friends.

Barkefellers has always been my dogs ‘happy place’. She absolutely loves going to play. She also stays there if I go out of town. She does great because she loves to go and play and I do get the package where she plays most of the day. This makes it so easy and familiar for her. The employees also treat her as if she was their own. She also gets groomed there which has also been wonderful !

We love Barkefellers and so do our pets, especially our doggo! We have only used the boarding service, but he is always excited to play with the other dogs and have the staff dote on him. The staff is very caring and provides regular updates they call “Pawgress reports.”

We took our 3 older pups to Barkefellers for Groom and Play, the staff was friendly, courteous and handled the dogs well. I was nervous but they did a great job with our pups and handled them with care. We are looking forward to their next visit.

My mini bernedoodle went to daily daycare at the West facility for 7 months before transferring to the South facility recently. He was excited to go every day where I knew he was cared for by a top notch team. We used the grooming services every few months and was very satisfied with that side as well. I like that you can view cameras with access to most areas to give that extra comfort.

Everyone is nice and kind. They provide my pup with love and lots of play time. The trainer was good with anticipating needs and helping us learn. I definitely recommend Barkefellers.

I’ve trusted Barkefellers West with my giant babies for more than a decade and they never disappoint. They are true animal lovers and it shows. I just brought my new rescue in today for daycare and it was an amazing experience for her. Love this place and the staff for the love and care they always show my dogs.

Today was Laylas first day. She had so much fun and came home and took a nap!!. I really enjoy being able to watch her on the cameras anytime during her stay. The staff was very friendly and was a very clean atmosphere.

Took my puppy Ember in to Barkefellers for boarding and training for two weeks while I was in Colorado.
After I returned and picked up my little furry friend. She was a different dog! I have continued to train her at home with the instructions that barkefellers sent with me. She is doing very well! She listens to me more closely and follows every command. She is all around just a more behaved dog. I highly recommend! Thank you, Barkefellers!

Barkefellers South has helped my rambunctious puppy, Murphy, in so many ways. They gladly worked with us when she first started going, as she was very timid and too scared to do group play. Today, she plays with all the dogs in group, & gets so excited to “go to school”. We are always greeted kindly, and Murphy is shown plenty of affection & care when I drop her off for the day. I feel good knowing that she is there, safe & being cared for by the wonderful staff that I have encountered during the past 3 months. The two week training with Jess really helped with Murphy’s behaviors. Jess also helped me with alternative approaches specifically for situations/behaviors with Murphy.
I will continue to bring Miss Murphy to Barkefellers South because she loves her friends there, and it is a very friendly, healthy environment.

My dog absolutely loved it there. I received many phone calls about how my dog was doing which I’m so thankful for. He was boarded for the stay school for two weeks and I honestly felt so comfortable and relaxed knowing my dog was taken care of. I couldn’t recommend them enough!!

We had a great experience with this boarding our pup Lily over the weekend. Our pup was well taken care of and clearly received lots of attention. She wasn’t eating much at first, but the staff went above and beyond by offering her special food to encourage her appetite. They even followed up with a phone call after her stay to check in on how she was doing, which really meant a lot. The pricing is on the higher side, especially with the à la carte options for extra items and services, but overall, the care and attention she received made it worth it.

Dalainey was amazing. My pup had some bad matting and Dalainey did an excellent job of making sure my Mochi was comfortable. She took extra time and was so kind. I opted to name her my preferred groomer (but I’ve never had a bad experience taking a dog to Barkefellars; they hire very good people). I would highly recommend both the facility and the groomer to anyone looking for such services.

We trust Barkefellers with our fur baby. They give her special attention while we’re gone and we can call for updates when we’re missing her. Also, the access to video of her room and the play areas is awesome. Being able to check on her and see her on video gives us a piece of mind.

Barkefellers is the place that I recommend to take your pet while you go on vacation. They follow up with a call during your stay to let you know how everything is going to insure you that you pet is doing ok.

I was really nervous leaving my puppy for her first boarding trip. However, everything about Priority Boarding made it a great experience! The daily report cards, knowing they are veterinary owned, and the ease of knowing she had wonderful people taking care of her made it a relaxing trip for me also! Really not enough good things to say! Indy came home happy and I feel much better about her next visit!! With my husband working in racing, it’s important to have a facility I can trust while we are sometimes away on long weekends. This is definitely our go-to from now on!

We reluctantly had to board our two cats for five nights recently, and everything went smoothly. One of them needed regular pills and an inhaler treatment each day and we worried about steep charges for that, but it wasn’t bad at all. The staff was kind and caring, and the condos were very clean and nice. Make sure you bring comfort bedding and toys, because there are none! Our cats aren’t cuddle buddies so it was fine, but if yours are, they aren’t allowed to bunk together. The only thing I would change would be more consistent and thorough “report cards” each day. Overall we were very pleased and happy with Priority Boarding.

Wonderful staff! The establishment is clean and organized. It was clear in all the report cards that our boy was enjoying his time at Priority. This is the second year we have used Priority Boarding and we will continue to use them. I have previously used other boarding options and none were comparable to the care and peace of mind that comes with using Priority Boarding.

I was very impressed with the care and individual attention the staff paid to my puppy. They were very caring and sent me updates and photos of her and how she was doing. She always appeared to be having a great time and be very happy. I sent outfits with her because she loves wearing them and they changed her and played with her just like I would. I highly recommend this place they truly care about your pet.

I have a large dog who may look intimidating, but he’s truly a big softy—and the team at Priority Boarding treats him like absolute royalty. It’s such a relief to know he’s in good hands when I can’t be with him.

The daily report cards are everything! Getting those updates on how he’s doing, what he’s been up to, and how he’s feeling brings so much peace of mind. You can tell the staff really care, and that means the world to me.

The staff is phenomenal. My little guy is very selective about making new friends. He is tiny and takes a little time to feel comfortable around new people. The staff was patient and truly went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. We had funeral to attend so everyone in the family had to make last minute travel arrangements. Knowing that he was safe and well cared for made life so much easier. They send you update on his daily activity and disposition that includes pictures. I will definitely be using priority boarding again.

Our 2 dogs stayed 5 days for the first time at Easter. The facility is very nice and clean. My dogs were in the Sanctuary suite and had plenty of room. The area they take them out for a stroll and potty is also very nice and clean. They would send us a report card with photos which helped ease my mind. The staff is helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
