We enjoyed our tour. It was very detailed and full of information so be ready to spend close to two hours on site. The tour schedule is spread out so you definitely need to plan your day around a tour time. Parking is primarily on the street and there are a lot of one way streets in the area so map it ahead of time. The house is filled with the families belongings so it is easy to imagine the home as it was years ago.

Decided last minute to book a tour as it was a rainy morning and couldn’t have been more pleased! Our tour guide was absolutely amazing and the walk through the entire house was wonderful. Would highly recommend to anyone who comes to the area!

Fantastic tour. The guides and other staff on-site really know what they're talking about and exude passion.
Tour was an hour and 40 minutes, so be prepared. But if you like looking through the windows of history you won't get bored. I'm just warning you that if you take the 10am tour you'd better not have anything else on your schedule before noon.

Visited while in Indianapolis for NCAA tournament. Our tour host was very knowledgeable and did a great job. Tour lasted about 90 minutes, but didn’t seem that long. The third floor of the house just opened the day before our visit, so new items were added for the public to view. Many items in the home were actually from his home and law offices. Definitely worth the time.

We began our day with a monthly event - Coffee with the Curator. We enjoyed an interesting presentation. We then took the tour of the house. The number of items that are original to the house was impressive. Our tour lasted about 70 minutes. I suggest planning on two hours here. That will give you time to explore the grounds and visit the gift shop.
