First time going here but it is a really good museum. I did notice that the Korean War area was small compared to the other exhibits, and the Vietnam area was almost non-existent. It is free to enter, but they do accept donations to help keep the museum running. If I can upload all of the pictures that I took while inside, I will, as there are many interesting exhibits in this museum.

A treat hidden in plain sight and a must-visit when in Downtown Indy during the week. Make sure to check out the lower level war museum and upstairs shrine room with the Altar of Consecration. Plan 1-2 hours for your visit. There is also some great meeting room space.

Excellent collection of American war history artifacts and exhibits. Entry is free, and the value is off the charts, as I spent four-ish hours there. Beautiful building inside and out. Staff was very friendly too, so go check it out!

I'm pretty sure it would have been a great museum to visit. Unfortunately, we couldn't go inside it, as it was closed specifically and exceptionally on the day we visited Indianapolis. After walking up the stairs to the entrance,we saw a note, stating that the museum is closed for today. We specifically checked on their website to see, if they were closed and there was not a single mention of them being closed on Sep 4.
We also weren't the only ones facing this inconvenience, as there were several people walking up there, reading the note and then simply walking back down in disappointment.
