Ballard Computes is a local computer repair technician. They are incredibly knowledgeable on computers and put forth a tremendous amount of effort when trying to find out why a computer doesn't turn on. The amount of information I was given was incredibly helpful and has changed how I will build a computer going forward. Personally I will always go for a local business over a larger business or chain like Best Buy. You should too! Ballard Computes will treat you well and make sure your issue is resolved keeping you up to date on everything they do to fix your problem.

Marvin was great! I had an unknown cooling system issue on a new model gaming laptop and I wasn't sure how things would turn out with repairing it. Marvin was able to diagnose the issue and guide me through the considerations for repairs, offering as much detail and explanation as I desired. In the end, all my issues were resolved at a much cheaper cost than I had anticipated, and my laptop has run very smoothly ever since. Thanks Marvin!

Amazing experience, even when not in office he knew exactly what I was talking about and was able to guide me through the process of clearing out and reinstalling Windows 10 in about 30 minutes. He also had plenty of extra advice and what to do after to finish everything up. Was patient with me and was happy to help me out.

Ballard computes is a gem. I had a laptop which spontaneously stopped posting a BIOS that was beyond my ability to fix. Marvin de-soldered the chip restored the bios and had it working quickly, this is pretty esoteric work and it's amazing to have someone capable of it nearby. Turn around time was very fast, communication was great, pricing was very fair, and he stands by his work. Marvin and his business are an easy recommendation.

This guy really knows his stuff. When I called right before closing he was about to head home but kindly agreed to squeeze me in. He diagnosed and fixed my laptop in less than an hour while I played with his sweet dog. He explained to me the problem and his solution and I felt completely confident about the repair. I've been using it for a few days with no issues. 100% I would recommend this business to anyone needing computer help.
