It’s a small but very interesting museum. I learned a lot about Vonnegut’s life and work. My all time favorite part is the bookshelf with his books in different languages. There are books is Armenian, Czech, Latvian, Estonian, Romanian, Portuguese, just to mention a few. As a language lover, I was in my place.

Our tour Guide, Chris was very entertaining and knew a lot about the history of Kurt Vonnegut and his family. The gift shop was wonderful with all Kurt’s book and some other authors, also some local to Indianapolis. The bar upstairs was inviting. We brought in a sack lunch and ate outside on the balcony. For dessert we had one of the delicious ice creams and a root beer float.

A great experience to learn about an Indy icon. It has a mix of audio, visual, and interactive sites with places to sit and enjoy the space. Loved the balcony and small cafe located inside.

A must stop for any literary fans! So much cool history and so many stories. The staff is phenomenal and willing to talk about anything even remotely related to the Vonnegut’s thought process.
