This was a good workout, good time and overall good experience! I didn’t know I was going to be wore out but the Intro level cardio and intensity was awesome and much needed. Bria was a great facilitator! And the queen at the front desk was also welcoming and professional. Im looking forward to returning for a consist routine and learning experience on the intro level. I highly recommend for the slow motion gym goers or those who need that extra push for fun. This excitement gets you pumped up mentally and physically.

I absolutely love Rumble Boxing! The energy in the studio is unmatched—every class feels like a mix of a killer workout and a fun experience. The coaches are motivating, knowledgeable, and make sure you feel comfortable whether it’s your first time or your hundredth. The music keeps you going, the workouts push you to your limits, and you leave feeling stronger every single time. I’ve seen amazing progress in both my strength and endurance since joining. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a workout that’s effective, exciting, and never boring!

My intro class was a fantastic introduction into boxing. Now after 7 more classes, I can confidently say Rumble is a great place to grow your skills. I’ve been with three different instructors, Bria, Dom and Cole -who’ve all had a unique charm to their classes. Amenities are clean and the team is always warm and welcoming. Highly recommend giving them a try. 🙂

My dad & I have been coming here for a few months and we absolutely love it! I exercise fairly regularly, but he hadn’t exercised in a few years and he had no problems with the pace of the classes. Class sizes are reasonable and the employees call us by name, which helps make things feel a lot more personal. I highly recommend Rumble for anyone looking to change (or even start) their fitness journey!

We have been coming to Rumble for 6 weeks now and we love it! From the start Bria was very friendly and explained everything! She’s awesome but so are all the other trainers! It’s easy to feel comfortable no matter what level you’re at!
The workouts are bad ass, & they make you feel so good! Some are more intense than others, but it get better every week!
My favorite part is “freestyle” you can hit that bag away!
Definitely recommend these classes, because WHY NOT! Oh and very affordable. Plus they always have specials you can take advantage of!
So stop wyd and book now!

I had my first experience ever with group exercise/classes at Rumble a week ago and I absolutely loved it! I was so intimidated going in because I didn’t know what to expect but once I arrived I knew I was in the right place! My trainer Bria called me the day before to confirm my training and to answer any questions that I may have before arriving and her energy was EVERYTHING! She made me feel some comfortable I can’t thank her and the rest of the Rumble family for making my experience so amazing! I even met some new friends! If you have thought about taking a class at Rumble I’d highly suggest it. Sign up for an intro class today, you won’t regret it!

Joining this boxing gym has been a wonderful experience for both my son and my I! From day one, we were welcomed by the coaches and members, creating a supportive environment for all ages. The gym goes beyond teaching boxing—it instills discipline, encourages personal growth, and emphasizes respect inside and outside the ring. If you want to learn to fight (for real) or get in shape or lose a few pounds, or just meet some cool ppl, this is the gym to go to. They have lots of class times to choose from, coaches that will push you but are also super friendly and down to earth, and their prices beat any other boxing / fighting gym. Everyone gets a free class to try it out so what do you have to lose?

Two stars because there are very good coaches here. However they aren’t usually around and are usually selective with who they train when they are. Pretty disheartening when you show up to the gym, jump rope for 30 minutes, shadow box for 25 minutes with minimal instructor input. If I had no experience I’d be totally lost, possibly solidifying bad habits cause no one is looking. Might as well just work out at home.

I can’t recommend SRG enough! I’d been dealing with scoliosis for years, and there were times when I could barely stand up straight due to the pain. Thanks to strength training with Suzana at SRG, my life has completely changed. Her expertise and personalized approach to my workouts have made a world of difference.

For over five years, I haven’t needed to see a chiropractor — a huge milestone for me! Suzana is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also motivating. She really takes the time to understand my body and helps me push past my limits in a safe and effective way.

Both of my sons attended the teen classes, and they absolutely loved it! Suzana and the other adults are great at engaging and motivating the kids, making fitness fun while also teaching them proper techniques. It was rewarding to see them develop confidence and strength through the classes.

If you’re struggling with pain or looking to improve your overall strength and health, or you have kids that are interested in boxing and some healthy habits, SRG is the place to be!

So, as with everything, there are pros and cons to this gym.

The pros:

The gym is owned by Mr. Cedric Johnson, a former professional boxer. So, as you can imagine, he has a tremendous amount of boxing wisdom to pass on.

The gym, itself, is great. The equipment is solid, the gym is clean, and there is a ring, too.

You can have great workouts and tailor your workouts to your needs.

There are a lot of great people here and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

Mr. Johnson provides a safe atmosphere for kids to come and train.

The cons:

Although Mr. Johnson has a lot to offer his clients by way of boxing knowledge, he does very little instruction.

Many of the guys and kids who go to the gym, don’t get much direction or technical instruction, so they end up doing their own thing. This is unfortunate, because there is so much to learn in boxing.

Mr. Johnson has his select group of individuals he pours into, and it’s obvious to everyone else in the gym.

So, overall, the gym is clean and the equipment is solid. You’re able to get a good workout, but don’t expect to be poured into.

Great gym to be apart of. I’ve seen members from ages 8 to 82 and everyone loves it. Great open gym atmosphere. The gym is however starting to focus on creating more of a fitness atmosphere giving the best of both worlds. Coaches are available and instructive but again, it is Open Gym. But if you’re serious about learning to box, they do offer private 1 on 1’s.

    Consultations and Legal Advice

In the context of boxing gyms in Indianapolis, a civil attorney can provide initial consultations, case assessments, and ongoing legal guidance to evaluate exposure to risk, regulatory compliance, and potential disputes. They can analyze gym operations, class formats, youth programs, and event planning to identify legal obligations and safety standards. Risk assessment and strategic planning help management understand liability profiles, insurance needs, and incident response protocols. They can review policy documents, gym waivers, and member agreements for enforceability and clarity.

    Contract Drafting and Facility Agreements

Civil attorneys draft and review facility leases, vendor contracts, and membership agreements to ensure terms are clear and protective. They examine indemnification provisions, limitations of liability, and termination clauses to align with gym operations in Indianapolis. They also assist with sponsorship and event contracts to reduce risk and define responsibilities during competitions and training camps.

    Risk Management, Waivers, and Insurance

For boxing gyms, civil attorneys can help design comprehensive waivers of liability, assumption of risk provisions, and release forms that withstand legal scrutiny. They coordinate with insurance professionals to align coverage with exposure from equipment, rings, and training activities. Risk transfer strategies, emergency protocols, and safety policies can be codified to support compliance with local regulations in Indianapolis.

    Dispute Resolution and Mediation

When disputes arise with vendors, members, or staff, civil attorneys can pursue dispute resolution options, including mediation and arbitration, to avoid costly court battles. They prepare settlement proposals, draft settlement agreements, and oversee conflict resolution strategies that preserve operations and relationships within boxing gyms.

    Personal Injury and Sports-Related Liability

Injury claims related to boxing activities require careful handling. A civil attorney can evaluate negligence, premises liability, and product liability aspects involving equipment and facilities. Employment Law for Gym Staff

Boxing gyms rely on branding and marketing, where civil attorneys help with trademark protection, copyrights, and licensing agreements. They ensure advertising claims are truthful and compliant, navigate endorsement contracts, and protect logos and slogans from misuse, supporting long-term brand integrity in Indianapolis markets.

Frequently asked questions about boxing gyms in Indianapolis

What should I look for in a boxing gym in Indianapolis?

When evaluating a boxing gym in Indianapolis, focus on facility quality, coach credentials, safety standards, and the variety of classes. Ensure the space is well-maintained, with reliable punching bags, a safe ring area, and clean mats. Ask about the coaching style, whether there are beginner programs, and if gloves and wraps are included or rentable through the gym. A strong gym will have certified trainers, transparent progress tracking, and a respectful culture. Take a tour, read reviews, and note how staff address questions and concerns.

Are boxing gyms suitable for beginners in Indianapolis?

Yes, boxing gyms in Indianapolis commonly offer beginners classes designed to teach fundamentals, footwork, and basic technique. They tend to emphasize a supportive environment, progressive skill-building, and personal attention to newcomers. If you’re unsure, look for a starter program or a trial pass to gauge fit before committing long-term.

What is the typical cost of boxing gym memberships in Indianapolis?

Membership pricing in Indianapolis varies by facility and offerings. Expect a range that may include monthly memberships, initiation fees, class passes, or drop-in rates. Private coaching or one-on-one sessions usually carry a higher price tag. It’s important to review the cost structure, any contract terms, and what is included or excluded in the rate.

Do boxing gyms in Indianapolis offer classes for kids and women?

Many gyms provide youth programs for kids to learn basic boxing skills in a safe environment. There are also women’s classes or women-friendly options that emphasize confidence, fitness, and conditioning. Look for coaches who are trained in age-appropriate safety and who maintain appropriate supervision during all activities.

What should I bring to my first boxing gym session in Indianapolis?

For a first session, bring comfortable athletic wear, water, and a towel. Many gyms provide gloves and wraps or offer rental options, but it’s helpful to confirm in advance. If you have your own equipment, bring hand wraps, a mouthguard, and appropriate boxing shoes or sneakers with good support. Arrive early to complete any waiver and safety briefing.

How do I choose a boxing gym that fits my goals in Indianapolis?

Identify your goals—fitness, competition, self-defense, or stress relief—and evaluate which gym best supports them. Consider the coaching philosophy, the availability of sparring or bag work, class schedule, and how progress is tracked. A good fit often includes a trial period and clear goal-setting with an available progress plan.

What safety considerations should I know about boxing in Indianapolis gyms?

Key safety measures include wearing appropriate protective gear (gloves, mouthguard, headgear if applicable), maintaining proper warm-up and cool-down routines, and following sparring rules and coaching supervision. Inform staff of any medical conditions and obtain any necessary clearance before participating in intense training. Responsible gyms emphasize injury prevention and responsible training practices.

What is the typical schedule like at boxing gyms in Indianapolis?

Most boxing facilities offer a mix of morning, afternoon, and classes, with some providing weekend options as well. You may find beginner sessions, conditioning classes, and open gym times where members can train independently. Many gyms use booking apps or calendars to manage class sizes and attendance.

Do boxing gyms in Indianapolis offer personal training or private coaching?

Yes, many facilities provide private coaching or one-on-one sessions tailored to your pace and goals. Private coaching can focus on technique refinement, speed and power development, or conditioning plans. Rates and availability vary, so confirm with the gym and discuss a goal-oriented plan during a trial or initial consultation.

What is the process for canceling a membership or taking a break?

Cancellation or short-term breaks usually require providing written notice and adhering to a notice period described in the contract. Some gyms offer a temporary freeze option that allows you to pause payments without canceling. Before leaving, review any refund policies, minimum terms, and whether outstanding fees are due. It’s wise to obtain written confirmation of the cancellation or freeze.
