Today I came to this store to buy cheese, and it’s five months past its expiration date. The people here have put a fake label on it with a false date to deceive customers into buying expired cheese. The health department should conduct an inspection because of the unsanitary conditions and the expired products they are selling.

Ive been on my healthy journey, with fresh foods, meats, vegetables, fruits, etc. They have a huge selection of variety of ethnic and cultural foods. Such as Caribbean, African, Indian, Asian, South American, foods. The associates are from those places which helps with authenticity and great team of workers who care about there products and people they service. My first time going was back in January and 5 team members helped me retrieve 1 Caribbean item that was needed for me to complete my dish. I’m Caribbean by the way. Great people, Great store environment, Great Service. Also, knowledgeable and recommended the best and exclusive products of their homeland. I definitely RECOMMEND this SARAGA INTERNATIONAL GROCERY to anyone looking for the BEST IN QUALITY AND SERVICE. For as long as I’m here in INDIANAPOLIS, IN. Im FOREVER going to SARAGA INTERNATIONAL GROCERY. Yes and also always CLEAN and aisles STOCKED.

I go here to get the different meats for my dogs food and have never bought any bad meat from here. I also like to get different ingredients for cooking and this is the best place that I found that has so many different varieties of different countries. When I go, the store has always been clean. The cashiers and security guard has always been nice and friendly. I only took a couple of pictures that I sent a friend of mine when I go again I’ll get more pictures to post

Store need more space.., crowded., Love those asian stuffs/groceries! if you have a bigger space, no people will drive to chicago to buy international groceries… 8/16 downgraded to 1 star today. Most of the itema marked in the shelf are not the same when they punch it in the cashier.. just notice it when they printes the receipt and i check it when i got home. Seems like being scammed.. maybe they didnt update the price in their shelves? And also, lots of flies in their bakery today…. please clean up your place

We ordered fried fish and chicken from the quick service restaurant which was good. They should add lemon slices for the fish entree for added flavor. As far as the store goes, everything looks fresh from seafood to produce. They have a lot of exotic produce but you won’t find everything that you’re looking for. I would recommend adding soursop fruit and various fruits and vegetables that are only found on the African continent.

This was a super cool collection of foods, spices, veggies and so much more from all over the place. Neatly put together and really easy to navigate. We spent a lot of time exploring all the aisles. I was very impressed.

I recommend everyone and theirs mothers go to Saraga. Specifically this one and the one in Castleton. You find a variety of items from all around the world to buy and try. The selection of fresh meats and fish is large and all the employees are very kind.

Cool place to visit. It’s like a farmers market of different restaurants . Plus it has a great bar up stairs and if your lucky enough to catch a tour of the catacombs underneath. It’s worth making a day of it.

The sign reads 6am to 6pm, we arrived at 2:30pm and most of the shops were already closed😕This was our 3rd time trying to visit since last year so we were very disappointed. Thanks to the lovely people of «JUST COOKIES» for sticking around until closing time to explain the Market to us..and special thanks to Cara at «U RELISH» for playing educational games with my grandchildren and letting them grind some beans.

It’s a good looking building, but I guess most shops are only open for a handful of hours around lunch – I think? Only a few places were open at 3:30pm on the Friday I looked around, anyway. The market has restrooms and an ATM; plus free wifi, or at least poster signs give user and password logins (didn’t check if they were working myself.) The data that Google Maps has for the restaurant vendors (and other orgs) listed here looks like a disorganized mess. Google Maps seems very unsure which vendors are actually closed rather than open; and for those open, Google usually seems confused by the hours. (So am I, and the Mall’s webpage definitely doesn’t resolve that.) Somebody who cares about the Market, and who knows it well, should spend a little time trying to fix most of this on Google Maps, imho, for the benefit of all involved.

I loved all the different food options here and how light and open everything was! There did seem to be a shortage of seating at certain points in the lunch rush and a whole section was closed off, but I don’t think there was too long of a wait. And during the holiday season there was a chorus performing, which made for a really nice lunch atmosphere.

Great place to go if you are a foodie. This place has a wide variety of food vendors. They have crepe shops, Greek, Italian, BBQ, bakeries, dessert places, etc. It has a really fun vibe and the upstairs is ideal for families with small children. If you can try to get there before the lunch time rush. I think this is a must do in Indianapolis, though.

Location is great, building is also great.. but most of the shops here have been shutdown already. So don’t make your opinion by looking at old pics of this place. It’s no more a happening place since hardly a few shops are open, and very less people visit here.

Very quaint little spot. From the outside you cant tell the great smells on the inside. Lots of options to choose from. Sadly not that many glutton free options but still great choices. The people are super friendly and helpful. Just the riggt temperature. Even with all thebfoid cooking and ovens on, very pleasant place. I had catfosh from Maxine’s it was nice. The little jewelry coner was awesome too.

This was my base Camp for my trip to Indianapolis. The bar offers daily specials and has live sports on the telly. Like any Whole Foods expect to pay a little extra but if you dig around, you’ll find some on sale items. Fun Fact, this was once the sight of the Market Square Arena, the former venue of the Indiana Pacers. When they built Gainbridge Fieldhouse and tore the arena down, a Whole Foods replaced it. There’s a plaque outside to commemorate this unique part of Indiana sports history.

I got some groceries from this market during my stay in Indianapolis. It’s pretty nice and clean, and they have a great variety of products. I was able to get some nice bread and toppings for it for breakfast, but I do have to say that prices are pretty high. It’s very convenient this is downtown, but the price makes it a bit less so.

There aren’t many places I can go and genuinely feel at home, but Whole Foods downtown is one of them. Honestly, it’s one of my favorite places to go, period. The food selection is always immaculate. Everything is fresh, high-quality, and consistent. Food has an expiration date, but my love for this store never will — every time I walk in, it feels brand new again. The workers make the experience even better. Everyone from the sticker crew, to the butcher/meat department, to the cashiers—always friendly, always in a good mood. Even the top-notch security guards manage to be both professional and welcoming. The whole environment makes me feel safe and cared for. I don’t know who runs this place, but they’re doing an amazing job. Heaven really is a place on earth with you, Whole Foods. I’ve never dreaded grocery shopping at this store. If anything, sometimes I go just because it’s my happy place. From the incense, to the health supplements, to the produce and everything in between—it’s truly a one-stop shop, done right. Thank you.

I ordered online from Whole Foods market and received leaking, spoiled produce with a strong odor, along with bread set to expire in just a few days. When I reached out for help, customer service told me they couldn’t resolve the issue because the order was placed online. Completely unacceptable. I won’t be ordering from this store again, and I strongly recommend others look elsewhere for fresher products and reliable service.

Not the best one in Indy, as far as organization and stocking goes. It is convenient and the downstairs parking is a total underdog. The team is always friendly! The bathrooms are locked… so, if you need to go quickly before you start browsing definitely ask someone or else you need the receipt (codes on the bottom). They do have elevators, escalators to get upstairs if you park down below. As well as motorized scooters for convenience with disabilities. I wish they carried Yerbaé 😪 please put Cleans back in the cold case! ♥️

I usually love coming here! I’ve been a regular since it opened several years ago. Today my partner and I were treated as though we were doing something wrong by the manager on duty on a Friday evening. (Middle aged, long dark hair with silver) There was a sale for a brand of pretzels and instead of honoring the sale she said we were wrong to the cashier (not acknowledging us or providing customer service) We checked multiple times to make sure we read the promotion correctly, being in customer service myself I knew for a fact we were correct but she didn’t feel like changing the price (for some reason)SO we left without! Huge bummer tbh… Daniel was super chill though <3

Whenever I’m on the west side of town I make sure to work in a visit to the Georgetown market. The fennel prices and other error prices are better. And they have a wide selection of everything. I especially wanted to check out my D9 brother Kevin gross’s natural tea products. Check them out when you get a chance

I enjoy coming to Georgetown Market. I made a trip there the other day and they still have a great selection on most products. For me, the best part is the deli and juice bar. The deli is reasonable with their prices. But, like everything else, prices have gone up on everything in the store. Went in to purchase something, only to find out that it has increased tremendously. But overall, it’s still a great store!

In a word «Healthy» and they ran out of the Cuban Black Beans and Rice except less than a small order….new batch cooking 25 minute until ready…they gave me the small portion for free. It was a delicious sample and I’ll stop in and get an order next time I pass by!

Downfall from its usual set expectations I’ve been frequenting here for years, since it opened honestly with my family. But I recently visited after a while and twice I was ignored by employees, and the juice bar has turned into a joke with the amount of times the excuse of the machines not working to make certain drinks is embarrassing. I was at checkout and two employees didn’t even acknowledge me or look my way until I spoke, they just kept their conversation going. I’m easily pleased but as somebody who works retail come on… that’s like the bare minimum? I don’t know if I went on a bad day two separate times or what but… disappointing to see this place fall. It’s way more populated now than before with customers which is great but it kinda gives the vibe everybody knows the golden years are over. Honestly just train your employees better on product knowledge and how to actually acknowledge people and we might have a good start.

Chuck’s Market is truly the spot. You ain’t from the east side if you’ve never had the pleasure of experiencing this beloved mom and pop spot. Chuck’s Market caters to the needs of our people. If you looking for seasoning meat to cook your greens -Chuck’s got it. The biscuits and gravy is off the chain. And to top it off they carry Queen Cit Hot Head Cheese. This place brings back so many fond memories when my mother had to get our lunch meat. This is truly the spot.

As part of my commute, I’ve been driving by this charming little market for 25 years and never stopped in! It’s underneath the overpass at 30th and Massachusetts Avenue off of Emerson Avenue. I’ve always wanted to know what it was like there and I finally stopped today because I had a little free time. It’s a nice neighborhood market, perfect for running in and grabbing some bread, some juice, freshly sliced deli meat, regionally produced candies and all sorts of goodies. My goody of choice was this black cherry lemonade drink from a company called Calypso. Delicious!

This market has been around since I was a kid, my mother use to love to get her round colby jack cheese sliced thin from there. It warms the heart to see that this store is still pretty much the same, tho there have been some updates of course. The staff are as friendly as ever, much wider selection of groceries, prices are not bad at all, no long wait at the register. I love the added personal touch of the memory walls-photos of all the shoppers that have come in thru the years hugged every wall of the store in a unique collage. Very humble market

Had a great time today browsing the wide variety of antiques and collectibles here. It’s a fantastic spot if you’re looking for unique decor or a one-of-a-kind gift. The building itself is full of character and old-school charm, which really adds to the experience. Pro-tips for your visit: • Time: There are two floors to explore. If you like to browse at a leisurely pace, plan for about 30–60 minutes. • Parking: The lot can get pretty tight on weekends and the surface is a bit rough, so just be prepared for that when you pull in. Overall, lots of interesting finds and definitely worth a visit!

Midland Arts & Antiques is a HUGE antique mall — definitely plan to spend some time browsing because there is so much to see. The building itself has a really cool industrial vibe, and the variety of booths and vintage pieces was impressive. We kept finding interesting items around every corner. Parking was easy, and the entrance is clearly marked once you know where to go. The layout inside is spacious with wide walkways in most areas. Accessibility note: I personally did not see obvious wheelchair or elevator accommodations during our visit. However, staff were moving large carts between levels, and there is a service-style lift at the storefront that appears to be used for moving items. If accessibility is important for your visit, it may be worth calling ahead to confirm current options. Overall, this is a fun place to explore if you enjoy antiques, vintage décor, and unique finds. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the Indianapolis area.

Dog friendly to well behaved doggos on a leash. Great Antique mall. Everything under the sun is here and we only explored the main level, they have an upstairs as well. Bought my first piece of uranium glass here. They have antiques from a few dollars (2-5) to several thousand. A true treasure trove. At least Two bathrooms on main level. Treats, Drinking water, and bowls provided for dogs.

I feel somewhat bad for giving this place only 4 stars because, on a personal level, it definitely deserves 5. The merchandise is fascinating and is worth enjoying even if you have no plans to buy anything. I recommend bringing at least one friend, because you will definitely want to remark on your finds with someone else. There are multiple restrooms on opposite sides of the warehouse, and I’ve never met anyone who was disappointed with their experience. I do want to prepare people ahead of time… the prices can be somewhat higher (which is dependent on each stall, since there are multiple sellers), the warehouse is large, and there aren’t really designated places where you can rest your feet (of course, many seats and chairs are being sold, but I hesitate to sit on anything that I haven’t purchased regardless of whether or not there is signage). I don’t have too much trouble wandering through the entire place, but your older parent or younger child may get worn out long before you finish browsing, so keep that in mind! This is one of my favorite places in Indy… please check it out if you get the chance!

Nice location, but it’s really about the convenience when shopping here, not the quality selection… would love to see them ‘upscale’ their offerings and make the coffee shop feel less like a grocery store coffee shop? I find myself doing my primary shopping at Whole Foods even though I have to drive

This is a huge supermarket, but it’s surprisingly hidden from the outside. The main entrance currently lies at the end of a plywood tunnel, while other entrances are kept closed much of the day. This market has a deli, bakery, and most other things you’d think likely in a gigantic grocery store. It stocks the popular name brands, but has a tendency towards also stocking more upscale boutique items as well. Prices look higher than a Meijer or ALDI on average, which is the only thing I dislike.

I absolutely love this place, when I first walk in I see all the fruits and vegetables and I can smell the freshness and then you see that wonderful deli and bakery and then you get to the groceries and of course some things may be a little bit higher but some things are not and it’s definitely well worth it! I love to be able to walk into a absolutely clean & well-stocked store. I may not make it there as much as I like and that’s only because I live on the other side of town and I wish there were a few more stores open in the Indianapolis area but if you did it any other way you wouldn’t be Needlers! Thank you for giving us such a nice store to feel comfortable walking into!

the day before a snow storm, I walked there to get my lottery tickets bought for the week before the storm hit. They said the office was closed today so that they could get the shelves stocked for the storm. I should come back tomorrow. Understood, I get it. So I went back the next day in the snow. I entered and saw a staff member in the office and I asked for my lottery tickets. He said they were closed and the manual machine in the lobby was broken. He then came out and stood with another associate doing nothing. I asked, you really can’t take care of a customer? Yes, I can’t. Bye. Nice customer service. Too many options to shop to shop downtown. I will be going to Whole Foods from now on. You can pay for a redo and look great but until you solve your customer service issue, you won’t see me any more!

I always come here to get my produce. It’s usually pretty good and fresh. Everything else could be on the pricier side. I also get my espresso beans here. Fantastic! Today one of the cashiers opened my egg carton to make sure all my eggs were intact and not cracked. I’m so sorry I don’t remember her name but it was such a nice gesture!

Triiton

85% of this place is closed. Looks like it has a good number of toys and clothing but it’s all closed up. It’s a pass for me

This is the sort of flea market that truly embraces the Market aspect with all sorts of vendors and variety aplenty, as well as a Café at the back. There are plenty of Latinx vendors, which is especially notable if tu habla Español. One downside is that there doesn’t seem to be a lot of rhyme or reason to which vendors are barred up and which are open at any given time, so truly enterprising shoppers might come browse all weekend. Also be aware that they’re closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Of exceptional note is Anything Gaming, the video game store inside which showcases an absolutely remarkable collection of games from every generation of systems, including some rare complete-in-box games which will set you back a pretty penny due to their condition and scarcity.

I love coming here, there bargins and lovely people to. However it feels as if my trust for this place has been taking away. This is mainly for those who collect pokemon cards. A few months ago I bought some lost origins pokemon cards here and just today I went to a local card shop and opened them to and was told that all of the cards that were opened were all fake cards. I also figured that something was not right because I was pulling vmax and full art cards like crazy. Then I saw a specific card that made me upset a original Charizard card from the original base deck. Also one of the cards was completely messed up on the back as well. Even the package was not good. They were resealed and I know they were resealed because I was getting two of the same card which isn’t supposed to happen. Again don’t buy any cards from her. And for specific location of where her booth is when you enter there the double doors, take a left until you see rows and rows of cardboard boxes. That’s her. Again very disappointed and I wish I could trust this places again.

Heads up. Parking lot under construction. Vendors seem very weak in presence. Diner food good clean area and choices.

Don’t buy anything from the gaming corner in the front of the store to the left. He claimed that the pokemon cards were sealed and my cousin spent 100 dollars on them. Come to find out the seller had already opened it and resealed it to sell them all Screw resellers and screw people who scam others.

Our new favorite fall spot! I took my kids here on a Sunday morning in October and was so impressed with all the attractions! It was incredibly clean and well planned. Endless entertainment for a 2 and 5 year old. What really set it apart for me is the care that went into providing shaded areas, the cleanliness and the staff. There are staff at every activity monitoring and multiple offered to take pictures of me with my kids! The staff was genuinely proud of Waterman’s farm and excited to make sure families enjoyed it too. There’s plenty of space to run and climb. Some of the activities to give you an idea are sandboxes, various playgrounds, a hay bale mountain, corn box (sandbox filled with loose corn) petting zoo, pony rides, tractor tricycles, ball pit, slides, a large dinosaur that eats pumpkins, pumpkin painting, carnival food stands and a hayride out to a pumpkin patch. My kids especially loved the colorful plastic dinosaurs, cows and horses they could sit on. There was an entire carnival ride section that we didn’t venture out to. Plan to spend an entire day!

We came here to attend the «Big Bounce America 2024» for the world record largest bounce house!! So cool that this farm held such a huge event. So many people and parking was no issue whatsoever. I will say it was very hot this day and there is no shade but it was worth it. This farm is a hidden gem right off the interstate! Would love to go back for future activities they might have.

Visited Waterman’s family farm to get fresh handpicked vegetables. It was almost the last of peppers, we got to pick radish, a few kinds of peppers. They sell a few varieties of veggies and spreads/jams in the store too.

We go here every year for the past 3 years and this year was our last. $40 to get in for 2 people. Would have been more if they had charged for my toddler to get in. Last year I think we paid $24. Everything went up. I did like that there was more to do but we didn’t stay long after we quickly ran out of money. We brought $100 thinking that was plenty and ran out of that real quick. The food was expensive, animal feed went up and they narrowed down the animals that were in the part you can go in and pet. We didn’t even make it to the hayride. I’m sure the pumpkins were probably a lot more expensive too. $40 to get in is insane. What does that even cover when you have to pretty much pay for everything once you get in. I give a 3 star because I had a good time in the past and miss that experience.

Only thing we left with were drinks from the restaurant at the front. There’s tons of used clothes, shoes, and furniture. You won’t find antiques or rare items here. We go to many flea markets around Indiana. We check this one out about one a year to see if anything has changed and sadly it never does. Many vendors are selling things for as much as the store it came from. If you want to go to a flea market, I’d pick another one.

It was easy to get around. Found many things. However, I see this as $1 each, that is a deal so got 12, guess that they saw it as $2. So be careful with them rining things up. Just frustrated because you can’t see the prices. So for now on, I will ask to see the screen and the line behind me can wait

Found some cool things here( movies, plants, knicknacs and our dream couch for so cheap! Sadly our license plate got stolen while we were shopping and we haven’t been back since. Luckily it was a temporary. It was during the daytime… It’s not the stores fault but the location isn’t the greatest. While I recommend the store but maybe take a Lyft there if you’re not buying huge things.

This place is all resellers that resell items at high prices. They are selling the discount stuff from other stores but pushing up the prices. Even the used items were priced higher than Walmart or Target. This is the worst «flea market» I have ever went to. Don’t waste your time.

Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is without a doubt the best Ethiopian/African restaurant in the area! They offer a wide variety of delicious, fresh meals that are full of authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. Every dish is beautifully prepared, rich in taste, and made with high-quality ingredients. The restaurant also stands out for its excellent customer service. The staff are warm, welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure every guest has a great dining experience. If you’re looking for a place that serves amazing traditional food with exceptional hospitality, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

This overall is a nice place to browse and find some hidden gems. However, it’s kinda dirty and alot of booths are SO messy, disorganized, dirty, overcrowded, you couldn’t browse and buy if you wanted too. These booths have a massive amount of clothing. Alot of the same stuff at every booth. They do have a very large area of appliances, furniture, flooring, toliets, tubs, doors etcccc for good prices. Overall, nicer than some flea markets. However, they need to clean up and hold booth owners accountable for their space as far as cleanliness, organization and not being so overcrowded.

It’s a flea market, kind of. I’m not sure what they charge for booth rent, but everybody had their prices jacked up so I’m assuming it’s high. The appliance place on the side is pretty solid. I’ve purchased from them a few times over the years and do not have anything bad to say about them. But the flea market side…. It’s dirty. Maybe run a vacuum once a month or something. Don’t be afraid to disinfect the place yearly either.

Frequently asked questions about markets in Indianapolis

What types of markets exist in Indianapolis?

Indianapolis boasts a diverse range of markets, encompassing downtown commercial real estate, suburban retail centers, industrial parks, and mixed-use developments. The downtown market is driven largely by finance, healthcare, and professional services, while the suburban markets cater to a broad consumer base. Furthermore, there’s a growing logistics and distribution market owing to Indianapolis’s strategic location.

How has the downtown market evolved recently?

The downtown Indianapolis market has undergone significant transformation in recent years, fueled by urban revitalization initiatives. There’s been a surge in luxury residential development, coupled with new office spaces and entertainment venues. The increasing popularity of mixed-use developments, integrating residential, retail, and office spaces, is also reshaping the downtown landscape. This is partially attributed to the ongoing growth of the city's tech sector.

What are the key factors driving retail sales in Indianapolis?

Several factors influence retail sales within Indianapolis. The population growth of the metro area, particularly in the suburbs, consistently drives demand. Furthermore, consumer spending patterns are shaped by economic conditions, employment rates, and demographic trends. Online retail also presents a significant challenge and opportunity for brick-and-mortar stores, leading to shifts in location preferences.

What is the state of the industrial market in Indianapolis?

The Indianapolis industrial market is currently experiencing considerable demand, driven by e-commerce growth and the expansion of logistics companies. There’s a shortage of warehouse space, leading to rising rental rates and increased construction activity. The location within the Indianapolis Metropolitan Area greatly influences the value and desirability of industrial properties.

How are rental rates trending across different property types?

Rental rates are trending upward across most property types in Indianapolis. Office rental rates have been particularly affected by the shift toward remote work, although demand remains solid for quality spaces. Retail rental rates are increasing in strong locations, influenced by foot traffic and demographics. Industrial rental rates remain elevated due to supply constraints and high demand from logistics firms. It is crucial to examine submarket trends for specific rate data.

What are the major investors active in the Indianapolis market?

Several national and international investors actively participate in the Indianapolis real estate market. Institutional investors such as pension funds and insurance companies frequently allocate capital to Indianapolis. Private equity firms are also significant players, particularly in development projects. Additionally, local real estate investment trusts (REITs) contribute to market activity.

How does transportation infrastructure impact the market’s value?

Indianapolis's transportation infrastructure – including the Interstate 65 corridor, the Indianapolis International Airport, and the Indiana State Toll Road – profoundly impacts property values. Properties with easy access to major roadways and transportation hubs typically command higher rents and sales prices. Proximity to the airport is particularly valuable for logistics and distribution facilities.

What are the key demographic trends affecting the Indianapolis market?

The Indianapolis market is experiencing growth among younger demographics, particularly millennials and Gen Z. This demographic shift influences demand for urban living spaces, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The region’s overall population growth is also a key driver of market activity across all sectors. Diversity and immigration patterns are particularly relevant in certain neighborhoods.

What are the challenges facing the Indianapolis market?

The Indianapolis market faces challenges related to rising construction costs, labor shortages, and supply chain disruptions. Older buildings require significant renovation, driving up development costs. Furthermore, fluctuating interest rates can affect investment decisions and financing availability. Economic uncertainty also introduces risk for developers and investors.

How does the state of the economy influence Indianapolis’s markets?

The overall health of the national economy strongly influences Indianapolis’s markets. Economic growth drives demand for office space, retail, and industrial properties. Interest rate trends directly impact property values and financing costs. Inflation increases construction costs and operating expenses. Monitoring key economic indicators provides valuable insight into market direction.
