He may have had good intentions but the design was flawed. I wanted a cover over my deck but he used 8 foot tall posts which just wasn’t long enough to provide adequate height and clearance. Sad thing is his company backed him up which severed services throughout their business. They it attached to the house then I had find someone else who used 12 foot posts which gave adequate clearance to Jerry-rigged my cover .

We had Coalten out this morning to clear a clog in our main line. With the cold weather, we were concerned the backup might freeze and cause bigger issues. Coalten was polite and professional throughout the visit, keeping me informed with his findings and progress along the way. I appreciate that after the line appeared to be clear, he tested it to ensure we had no standing water. I learned that Coalten is fairly new to the Mister Quik family and I think he's a wonderful asset to your team. Thank you again, Coalten and Mister Quik.

Had Cwinton come out and fix a pax pipe leak. He was pretty funny and chill, no complaints here. He did help point out some issues with the pipes having small ones go into big ones and then back into small which is a good catch and future thing we'll get fixed later but overall this was a good repair. The company seems nice and has good communication about appointments and questions. Got some before and after photos included but the after photo doesn't show all that got repaired, just the bit with the specific leaking spot.

Hope Plumbing is great. We have a membership with them so as soon as the basement flooded, I knew we would be in good hands. Despite the snowstorm, they came out to help us. The techs, Elijah and Alex, were able to get the diagnostics going right away and jump into our rescue. They were very upfront about options, pricing, financing options, etc. they went over our membership benefits, and benefit discounts and we were able to figure out a plan for them to fix the problem. Everything is working great now. They helped us with homeowners insurance people and contacts for the clean up and gave us recommendations for going forward. We are looking forward to them coming back next month to flush the pipes. Great service and great techs! They came out in a storm, and worked in the midst of all three of my children home, running around, as well as my two dogs. Thank you for your excellent service HP.

Jeff Ham (service technician) came to our house today and we had a great experience. He was able to come out the same day we called, which we really appreciated. Jeff was super nice and easy to talk to. He explained everything in a way that actually made sense and gave us lots of different options to choose from so we could decide what worked best for us. One thing we really noticed was how careful he was in our house. He kept putting his boot covers on and taking them off as needed so he didn’t track anything through the house, which we really appreciated. Overall, Jeff did an awesome job. He was friendly, helpful, and we’d definitely recommend him to anyone who needs help with their plumbing.

Chris Davenport did a fantastic job. I had a sump pump ejection line separate in my crawl space. They dispatched Chris the next day. He improved the flexible discharge line setup I had with straight PVC. This is a very professional setup. He was professional and very knowledgeable. I am a mechanic and appreciate when a technician knows their stuff. Chris falls in this category. I would HIGHLY recommend Hope plumbing!

I hired Hope to determine the source of a leak into my basement. I told them I thought it was coming from the shower on our first floor. But I was told that the problem was that the pipes needed to be replaced. There were multiple problems with the pipe installation, which customer service assisted with. But when it became clear the leak hadn't been addressed I asked for a plumber to come back and reassess the issue. At that time, I was told that the problem was a leak from the shower after all. Not only that, but it wasn't something they could fix. I had many issues with my experience, but here is one I especially want to share. Beware if you have an older house. Contractors, and definitely Hope Plumbing, use it as the eternal excuse for mistakes they make. When the plumber was here a few weeks ago telling me the problem was the shower not the pipes, he quickly added, "But the pipes were old." As I told him, they might be old but replacing them didn't solve the problem I hired them for. If I had unlimited resources, I would replace all sorts of things in my "old house." But, in lieu of that, I need contractors, like Hope Plumbing, that say they specialize in older homes, to fix the problem not tell me how old my house is.

had to get my water heater replaced because i was randomly out of hot water. Called at 9:30 am and had it all done and replaced by 4!! I already have hot water again and it’s still daylight!!! they did amazing. fast workers and did what they came to do and got out. Will definitely be contacting in the future if anything else happens !!!

Juan was awesome. Very professional. Very polite. Very knowledgeable. He laid everything out very simply so even I could understand it. I needed a valve replaced. He showed me the cost and the cost of putting a new one in. Gave me plenty of options. It was also a good price. Very happy. Glad I went with Benjamin Franklin. I really didn't know and kind of picked at random.

Our water softener stopped working correctly and he came out Matthew and looked at it and even though we could not find our receipt so we pay he still did the service call didn’t cost much. There was $89 Service coffee, which is a lot, but it didn’t cost as much as I thought it would, but we still have to find a receipt so that they can refund the $89 Service call fee. It’s OK they can’t get our water softener working correctly again! our water softener again, but he was an awesome person.

I can’t say enough great things about my experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, especially Seth Yazdzik. I needed a sump pump discharge PVC repair, and it had to be handled late in the day, which can be stressful but their team was incredibly accommodating from start to finish. Seth was truly amazing. He showed up with a positive attitude, took the time to explain the issue clearly, and fixed everything efficiently and professionally. Beyond his technical skill, his kindness, patience, and genuine care really stood out. It’s rare to find someone who not only does excellent work but also makes you feel at ease while doing it. Technician was on time and professional. Juan explained what he was going to do and what would have to be done if the first procedure did not work. He also stated the price up front. He worked quickly and efficiently. The company sends texts to keep you updated and includes the picture of the tech. Reasonable for a Saturday.

All the showers and toilets in our home would not drain and when I ran the washer the water backed up through our toilet in the guest room and water was everywhere! It was fairly obvious our mainline drain was plugged. I called a plumbing company I had worked with before but they could not be out until the next day. I looked up other plumbing companies and I saw Roto Rooter had good reviews so even though it was late in the day I called them. To my surprise they said they could have a technician out in about an hour and a half and he would assess what was need to fix the problem and give me a price. If I did not like the price he would leave and there would not be any charge. Well a technician named Jalen came out, said he believed the mainline was blocked and he gave me the price. I asked him to go ahead and he worked hard for two hours getting the line unblocked. Jalen was courteous, knowledgeable, and did one heck of a job solving the plumbing problem. He cleaned up neatly when he was done and was a pleasure to have in our home. He is a credit to his company! I would highly recommend Roto Rooter for any of your plumbing needs and if needed I will use them again. If you get Jalen as your technician that would be an added bonus!

David was a huge help replacing my outdoor spigot, which was badly corroded and leaking. He handled the job quickly, charged a fair price, and was professional and kind throughout. I also really appreciated that he let me watch and explained what he was doing – especially since he was there to get the work done, not field my million questions. Highly reccomend!!

This has been a very extensive repair of drain lines and installation of outside drain clean out.. I have worked with Taylor Edwards Field Supervisor. He has been absolutely wonderful to work with as well as extremely knowledgeable! He has been excellent at communicating all my options patiently without any pressure. Even on his day off he drove to my home to help facilitate the work to be completed. He has made this very difficult situation more tolerable and helped provide great solutions to the problems. My laundry drain is backed up and reached out to get a drain clean out. I had scheduled an appointment for a Monday and was given an approximate time from 5-6. I kept receiving messages that they were running behind for them to never show. Then called me around 10pm that I was rescheduled for Tuesday from 5-7 window. Gave them another chance to come out and called and asked to see if they could come sooner stated they were busy but would note to come an hour earlier. They never showed or sent any communication of running behind so I called to cancel the appointment. Th representative didn’t even try to retain the business. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Shower drain/pipe was leaking through the downstairs ceiling. Called and they sent someone out the next day. David came in the morning, diagnosed the issue and had it fixed before the afternoon. Seems to have been a gasket leaking which I figured was the case. I was hoping to not have to cut a hole in the ceiling but unfortunately it had to be done to figure out the issue and fix it. All in all I am just happy it is fixed and we can use our shower. David did a great job.

Jim M came to our rescue around 10:30 pm or and switched out a toilet leaking valve in just about an hour. Great job no leaks now! Thanks to Jim and Rooter again for a job well done. We used your services a few years ago to clear a clogged line. Still clear. I’ll call Roto Rooter first if and when I ever need any future assistance.

We had what we thought was a pipe burst in our garage that resulted in water flooding into our mudroom, and coming into our basement from the ceiling. It happened In the evening, and to avoid expensive "emergency" repair costs, my husband turned our water off, which allowed us to delay seeking help until the next day. In the meantime, our neighbor had given us your company’s info, saying they had received great service from you! So that night, we called 2-3 plumbing companies and yours was the only one they returned our call that night. The customer service rep was courteous and friendly and explained that someone would be out the next day at 9 AM. Mitchell, was the plumber who showed up promptly at nine! He was friendly, professional, and we appreciated his level of expertise! He came right in assessed the situation, explained the cause and provided us with a reasonable cost to make the repairs. He also took a look at what could possibly be causing an intermittent sewer odor we’ve been dealing with for almost 5 years… Mitchell went above and beyond any other plumbers we’ve had out ..found the cause and made that repair as well! We came away with a very reasonable bill, which was a great relief because often times plumbing/HVAC companies charge astronomical prices! So overall, our experience with your company, and Mitchell was outstanding!

I called B&W back in 2001 and had them do some work regarding burying my sump pump line because it kept freezing.I was very pleased with the work that was done back then. Now in March 2026 I called them again to do some work finding a break in a sump pump line in another place. Dontril and Justin repaired two places and did an awesome job! Both men were very nice, knowledgeable, pleasant to deal with, repaired the breaks in the pipes and cleaned up everything with no problem. B&W has the great service and knowledge again in 2026 just like 2001 ! I will call and request Dontril and or Justin again when i have a need in my home. I've had a great experience with Carter's My Plumber from the start. John came to the house and did an exceptional job with annual maintenance on our tankless water heater and helped us to resolve a minor issue with our recently purchased water softener, both done as a courtesy under our warranty At absolutely no cost to us. Carter’s My Plumber worked to reroute and replace the discharge pipe from our basement sump pump, which was a difficult problem to solve, given the available space. They were able to bring in a number of their team members with the right experience and equipment to solve the problem, which included running a new pipe through our basement ceiling and then from our house to the edge of our property. Although we were hoping for a simpler and less costly fix, we were happy with the result, and I believe we ended up with the best solution. Our sump has been working fine ever since. All members of their team were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend them!

We recently had our clay tile break apart in our sewer system running under our bi-level home. After contacting several different companies to determine who we felt would do the best job for us, at a reasonable price, we settled on LD Smith, plumbing. It was the right choice. We worked closely with Joe Garza. He was extremely understanding and concerned about our Being able to use the sewer system as quickly as possible. He stayed in touch with us while they were working on it and followed through to make sure we were happy. It was not an easy job since they had to tear up the concrete floor in our bedroom. They completed the job In three days. Their workmen were fantastic to work with, they were respectful and went out of their way to determine a workaround for a surprise situation. We would recommend their services to anyone without any hesitation.

Very positive experiences this week with 3 visits from L.D. Smith plumbers. First, Tim came out regarding a slow floor drain. He was thorough and helpful in explaining my options. Next, Jacob was here to replace the kitchen faucet and one of the water shutoff valves. His work was great and he gave extra effort in his cleanup of the existing hard water stains. 2 days later Tim returned with Mark to perform the drain cleaning. Their work was excellent. Mark then stayed to talk over some other plumbing concerns in my 100 year old house and was very helpful. He followed up by emailing estimates for each of these. It is a good feeling to know where to turn for plumbing issues.

Trevor, Russell and Micah installed an external clean out for us. They also did a two-direction sewer cleaning and a camera inspection. They did a meticulous job and went above and beyond in making sure that we won’t continue to have main drain backups. Thanks guys! See you next Spring.

I had a superlative experience with L.D. Smith on an exterior water main shut-off replacement and internal shut-off valve replacement and repair. This was performed through a UtilityShield claim (now run through HomeServe). First things first… I tried other companies, and even big names (aka Gluf Plumbing), thought that repairing a water shut off in the water main pit wasn't "code" or "frowned upon" by Citizens Energy. This is simply not true. Second, L.D. Smith managed to work with HomeServe, so they must have the patience of a saint. Home warranty companies are nearly universally bad in my experience. Third – and most importantly – both the folks L.D. Smith sent out were timely, professional, and broke things down to me in a way I could understand. Last, if you have a commercial repair, I would give these people your money over other folks in town, that's for sure.

We have had L.D. Smith do one huge repair for us which included replacing the sewer line all the way from the house to the alley behind the house. This required digging 10 ft into the ground for about 50 ft. They had to remove our patio. They did the work perfectly with the greatest most polite technicians we could have asked for. Recently we had to have them replace a pump on a wastewater cistern. They came out and did the job quickly and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend working with this company. They have always taken great care of us.

Mason did a great job! He was knowledgeable, honest, and easy to talk to. I appreciated how comfortable he made the whole process. While my issue wasn’t fully resolved, he offered options I could try. They also gave me a courtesy inspection, which I really appreciated. I would gladly use their services again in the future.

I have a small hair studio and my water pressure was very poor. My technician was able to find and fix the issue so quickly! The price was reasonable and my wash sink has amazing pressure now.

On the coldest day of 2026 we discovered we had a gas leak. Citizens Energy tagged us and we wouldn’t have any heat or hot water until it was all fixed. Ciriello was the third plumbers we called and they said they could come right out! No one else seems to sense the emergency of no heat at 0*. Zach was here within a half hour and had everything fixed in about hour. We SO appreciate the immediate service and Zach’ professionalism. We will definitely be using Ciriello from now on.

I knew I needed to replace the water heater after it had been leaking and the hot water ran out. I went online Sunday and was able to get an appointment for Tuesday afternoon. Mark was the first to come out and look at my old unit. Hey did a thorough assessment and gave me options. I had a 13 gallon tank, but 14 gallon tanks are cheaper so Mark made sure the measurements would work. Mark walked me through all of my options and was able to get a technician out the same day. My technician was John P. John called when he was 30 min from my home making sure I was still available. John was nice and explained what he was going to do and the best options for moving tanks in and out of the house. A few hours later, the new water heater was in! John ran through what he did, showing me pictures and explaining where things were. John then answered my questions and took payment before leaving. Had a great experience with Crater’s My Plumber and I’m grateful that over the next years they will be serving my water heater!

I have to take this minute to tell you my experience with these two gentlemen and Carter's Plumbing. John and Carter installed my new water heater today. These two guys that showed up I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more perfect than what they did, how they performed and the highest level of excellence and kindness given from both of them. Absolutely the best and I couldn't have gotten any better anywhere else. Carter's Plumbing is beyond the most top notch family business I believe I've ever came across in my time and I worked personally for a few family owned businesses when I was young . I am not a rich person and needed help and Carter's Plumbing, Danny, John and Carter treated me more humble and kind than I ever could have imagined. Trust me when I say this amazing work that got done today thanks to John and Carter I will be taking care of my mom with hot water again. From my family to John and and of Carter's Plumbing we so humbly thank all of you for your kindness and hard work you did for my family.

I had a problem with very low water pressure in my shower. I swapped out the shower head and another company replaced the cartridge in the shower valve, both to no avail. The other company advised that my entire shower valve needed to be replaced, a very expensive repair……not to mention the cost of damage done to wall and tile in the process. Before committing to that, I called Carter's My Plumber to get a 2nd opinion. They promptly dispatched John and his apprentice Carter to my house. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly as they meticulously examined and analyzed the situation and patiently explained what they found and answered all of my questions. Bottom line: they had to make adjustments to my new valve cartridge that the other company had installed and that fixed the problem with my shower……at less than 1/10th of the cost of replacing the valve. Wow! Thank you very much, Carter's My Plumber, and specifically your employees, John and Carter! I'm so glad I chose you guys!

I needed a new toilet because subfloor had ruined flange. John did an amazing job and even hooked up my new vanity. Old houses are a challenge but he got it done, super great guy!

Water stopped working at 10 PM last night and Carters Plumbing was able to send John out to our house the next day to fix it! Our pipes had frozen due to the cold temps. Lucky for us, John was able to troubleshoot the situation, use a heat gun on our pipes, and get our water up and running all in 30 minutes! Super kind and thoughtful technician, also gave us tips on how to prevent them from freezing again. Thank you so much John!

John was fantastic!! He came out to find out why we were having low pressure in 2 of our faucets! It was a quick fix because he knew exactly what to look for and how to fix them. I can’t say enough about how professional that he was as well! Thank you Carter Plumbing!

We had two wonderful plumbers come out to fix a leak behind the shower wall. They explained everything and talked us through each step. Very respectful young men amd the DeBow family highly recommend Carter's!!!!
