Nameless Catering catered our Grand Opening and they were a hit! Everyone loved the food (especially the toasted raviolis). I also used them for my wedding and they always do a great job!

Nameless Catering allows you to purchase pans instead of charging by the person, allowing for the flexibility needed to truly curate your menu and keep costs down to a responsible level. They catered my Baby Shower and the food was beautifully displayed, even added flowers to the fruit tray! Had great labels for everything, and it all tasted excellent. Thank you for making my event stress-free as catering was a huge part to that success!

I didn’t get the name until they came to set up. It was simple and straightforward, making the process super easy. Most importantly, the savory Mexican option tasted incredible! We ordered last minute because the catering service we planned on fell through, and they were able to fulfill our order just days in advance without any difficulty. Honestly, I can’t wait to try some of their other menu options in the future.

I used Nameless Catering to cater a company event for 100 people. We received many compliments on the food quality and taste. Their staff was very competent and kept everything stocked and tidy during our 3 hour event. There was A LOT of left over food. So, next time I will adjust my ordering a bit, but it is hard to complain that we never ran out of anything. I would definitely use them again.

Nameless Catering did an excellent job for my mother in law’s memorial luncheon. The food was delicious & the presentation was beautiful. The staff was wonderful & attentive to our needs. My only regret is that I live in Florida & won’t get the chance to use them regularly!

Shapiro’s Deli is a great example of a classic, cafeteria-style deli done right. From the moment you step in, you’re met with a wide array of food choices hot entrees, sandwiches, soups, salads, sides, and a tempting selection of desserts. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty Reuben, a bowl of matzo ball soup, or just a slice of pie and coffee, there’s something here for everyone.

The food is consistently good and made with obvious care. The meats are flavorful and fresh, the portions are generous, and the sides feel like something out of a well loved family recipe book. It’s a place that values tradition, and it shows in the quality of their dishes.

Prices are on the higher end for a deli, which might catch you off guard if you’re expecting a budget-friendly quick bite. That said, you do get what you pay for good food, quick service, and a clean, well maintained dining area.

One of the biggest strengths of Shapiro’s is its versatility for group dining. If you’re going out with a group of people who all have different preferences or dietary needs, this is a solid choice. With so many options, it’s hard not to find something that hits the spot.

All in all, Shapiro’s is a dependable and satisfying stop in Indy, especially if you’re craving classic deli fare with a touch of comfort and quality.

Sadly I think this is my last visit. I’ve been coming to Shapiro’s for 11 years. I used to hold it in the highest regard for quality. The sandwiches used to be absolutely out of this world, some of the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately for the past 4 years the prices have continually gone up and the quality has gone down. I don’t typically write reviews but I felt compelled to. The last several times I’ve come here the meat on the sandwiches was just not like it used to be. $22.50 for a pastrami sandwich that more than half of the meat is grisly fat. $4.50 for a deviled egg. The deviled eggs are still delicious, but people come for the sandwiches not the sides.

I understand prices have gone up and I’m okay paying more if I can still get the same quality. But it is not.

Hopefully they can make changes and get back to what people have loved for decades. But until then, I don’t think I’ll be spending any more money here.

I only rated it as 5* because there is no higher number available. The 5* for atmosphere is based on the genre. I didn’t think there would be a Jewish deli this good in the Midwest, but I was wrong. The corned beef, pastrami, matzoh balls, chopped liver and cheesecake were really excellent and enough for two meals… No scrimping on portions. No fatty meat. Thick hand sliced homemade rye bread was perfect. A nice full menu. It is cafeteria style to get your food but the line moves quickly and the sandwiches are made to order while you watch. And plenty of free parking despite the fact it’s downtown in a large city. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Indy!

It has been years since our last visit to Shapiro’s Deli. But we stopped in after a flight from Florida, and headed to Fort Wayne.

The great:
The cafeteria style environment has remained true and authentic for as long as I have visited. The meat-loaf was good and tasty with no complaints.

The just ok:
The mac-n-cheese had some very hard to chew, very crunchy like hard candy on parts on top, but maybe that was a style.

The not so great:
This time, and the last time we visited Shapiro’s, the crust/corners/edges of my Rye bread were rock hard and very tough to eat…so hard that I had to remove it from the Corned Beef and Pastrami sandwich….not ideal when considering that the crust is a big part of the experience. Was it old bread? Over baked? I don’t know, but not a good experience.

Last, as just an observation or maybe a point for extra employee training: some customers do not know the “Shapiro way” of ordering and navigating the system. Train your employees behind the glass cases to be patient with those who came to spend their money at your establishment.

For the amount of money spent on lunch, I just expected a more superb experience and product.

This place absolutely lives up to the hype. Best Reuben in the state of Indiana? No. Best Reuben in the entire country. No comparison.

Everything taste fresh. Service is friendly and speedy. Absolutely will dine here again.

Classic Jewish deli experience. Outstanding in every regard. You will almost always see someone, though you may not know, that is noteworthy in this community. For example, today I saw a former congressman.

I’ve noticed a few reviews concerning pricing. However, given that prices have in fact gone up over the last several years, this still represent an excellent value. Folks, you spend $10-$15 at Subway, you’re gonna spend more for this. It’s damn worth it.

If you’re looking for an authentic deli experience with top-quality food, look no further than Shapiro’s Delicatessen! I stopped in for a classic corned beef sandwich, and it was absolutely outstanding.

The corned beef was perfectly seasoned, tender, and piled high on fresh, flavorful rye bread. Each bite had just the right balance of savory richness and melt-in-your-mouth texture. The sandwich was served warm, with just enough juiciness to make it incredibly satisfying without being overly greasy.

Great personalities. Samples? Really? Ribs. Pulled chicken. Corn pudding (my favorite) green beans. Collard greens so good someone didn’t want to share You know how folks say their Mac n’ cheese is like crack, I don’t know about that but I do know it sure was GOOD!

Went in after work on Saturday, I wanted to get some smoked wings so we both got them and an order of corn pudding. Both were delicious! Their original bbq sauces were delicious as well.

Today was our first time visiting City Barbeque in downtown, and unfortunately, it will also be our last. I went with my children, and the entrance door was unlocked and wide open, which led us to believe the restaurant was open. We walked in and stood near the back to look at the menu for about two minutes.

A gentleman from the back of the restaurant eventually told us they were closed, so we politely apologized and began walking out. As we were leaving, a Hispanic man wearing pink headphones suddenly began yelling across the kitchen, saying things like “people can’t read” and “how ignorant people are.” His tone was loud, rude, and completely uncalled for—especially in front of children.

He then came out of the kitchen and continued to speak directly at us with the same disrespectful attitude. I turned around and told him there was no need to speak to us in that manner. We had simply walked into an open business unaware they had closed.

To make matters worse, another employee with dreadlocks also made comments about how “dumb” we were, and only then did someone who may have been a manager step in and attempt to apologize. By then, the damage had already been done—we felt insulted, embarrassed, and completely disrespected.

This was an extremely disappointing experience, and I would never recommend this location to anyone. We didn’t even get to try the food, but based on how we were treated, I can’t imagine trusting the service or the environment. Customer service matters, and this was unacceptable on every level. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I’m from the East Coast. My first time in Indiana. The ribs were ok. The molasses is strong in their BBQ sauce. The collard greens were ok I don’t care for vinegar. I’m use to eating them with Smoked turkey tails or ham hocks. Corn Pudding is good. Brisket with baked beans was good.

Came to Indianapolis for a concert, and decided to get something to eat before the show started. We decided on City Barbecue. This is the first time we ever ate here. Absolutely phenomenal! The service is amazing. The employees are kind, caring, and everyone is smiling. The atmosphere is completely different from outside of the restaurant. Outside the hustle and bustle of Downtown Indy. Inside, calm, cool, and comfortable. Now on to the food. Everything we ate was so delicious. Jealous that my home town doesn’t have this place. Highly recommend City Barbecue.

Calamari on point! Overall a fantastic experience. We sat down without wait (very surprising). Our server was excellent. portions were huge, every entree comes w salad, bread, green beans, potatoes. Only gripe is the beer list. Not much to choose from outside of Sun King. Entertainment by Dancing Greek lady . Awesome date night, we can’t wait to go back.

Food was delicious! Service was a little slow. Possibly understaffed for a Friday night. I can’t recommend either house drink. If ordering from the bar you stick to wine or beer.

We recently had the pleasure of having Santorini Greek Kitchen cater our meeting, and it was an absolute hit! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and impressive. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing authentic Greek flavors with every dish.

Highlights included their juicy chicken and veggies, flavorful gyro meat, and a fresh, vibrant Greek salad. The tzatziki was a crowd favorite, with just the right amount of tang and creaminess. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. And don’t forget the baklava

The catering team was punctual for delivery and professional, setting up quickly and efficiently. They even provided all the necessary utensils, napkins, and condiments, which made the whole process worry-free. Additionally, the portions were generous, ensuring that everyone left satisfied. My only regret is we didn’t ask for TO GO boxes!

Overall, Santorini Greek Kitchen exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely be calling them again for future events. Highly recommended for anyone looking to bring authentic and flavorful Greek cuisine to their next gathering!

It has been 7 long years since our last dinner there. Just as good as it ever was. Highly recommended.

Ordered the “to-go family pack combo” meal for 4 special ($50) they advertised via Facebook. They prefer people call in their orders – very responsive that way. I called in around noon for a dinner order that same day. We ordered the gyro entree which comes with a giant portion of Greek salad, green beans or potatoes, plenty of pita and a very generous portion of baklava. Their tsaziki sauce is amazing – we put it on everything. Pro tip, we think the baklava tastes better refrigerated. When we picked it up, everything was packaged really well and all came in a large box which was convenient for hauling back that much food. Excited to try the chicken souvlaki and the well renowned potatoes next time!

Service was fabulous, food is excellent and more than worth every penny. Place is very clean. My suggestion for the establishment would be to invest in better silverware and update restrooms. Will certainly return!

Exceptional sandwich, ratio of meat and toppings perfect, flavors are magical and made me dance. You can taste quality ingredients and the love. The chips are the best I have had anywhere. I will be a frequent visitor to try rest of menu.

Wow!!! 11 out 10. Coolest little place I have been in a while. It is little, but the taste is mighty. Everything here looks, sounds and tastes great. I just ate my sandwich and I am already craving another one, even though I am stuffed. Do not miss out on this hidden gem. Portions are HUGE! I will back again and again. They also cater. OH!!!! Yes they will be at my house someday this summer.

The food is so good! Most of the sandwiches have pretty simple ingredients but the quality of them all is astounding! All the flavors work well together. I haven’t tried anything I haven’t loved, making my 10th visit here soon.

Ok, you can’t find this place. I am telling you it is next to a car repair. Omg, I can’t wait to go again. I have already told friends you have to try Turf. Rachael couldn’t be any nicer. The menu changes often , which helps you enjoy other things. Had the meatloaf sandwich which was like no other sandwich. When I opened the box it was this “cuite” little sandwich. This is a packed full meat sandwich. In fact had to force the last bite down. If your looking for white table clothes go some where else. If you want real food try and find Turf!!!!!

I ordered ribs for a company meeting. OMG what a great value plus over the top ribs. These are the best consistency rib bite. A great rib is a bite off the bone not fall off. Please give these guys a try. Oh, good music too.

Odd location but real good food. It’s tiny, really just a walkup counter with a couple tables at the side of the building to eat at. And it’s in the middle of 3 car repair shops but don’t let that deter you from going. The food is excellent and made to order. Small menu that looks like it changes pretty frequently to make sure everything is fresh. Definitely worth having a lunch there.

Its a tiny place and chilly in the winter but they mainly cater. Every sandwich I’ve had has been fantastic. Every ingredient from the meat to the bun is top notch. And very generous size!

They catered our wedding reception dinner and dessert and were fantastic. They were friendly and easy to work with. The food was great! We took advantage of the tasting which helped us decide quite a bit. We did take a chance on some items that we didn’t try at the tasting, and they were amazing too. We had a few people with dietary restrictions, but our coordinator Cerissa was helpful in making sure we had options for them. The staff the day of the event was great bringing the food to those guests while everyone else went up to the buffet. A lot of our guests mentioned how delicious the food was.

Jaquie’s catered our wedding reception and they did an amazing job! All the food during cocktail hour and dinner was delicious! And the staff were very warm and attentive! Couldn’t recommend them enough!

As a bride I knew exactly the type of food I wanted for my wedding. I am so glad we chose Jacquie’s bc from start to finish – it was a wonderful experience. I worked directly with Cerissa for the planning piece, she was on top of everything and always had a quick, kind & patient response. I was truly blown away by the staff on site for our reception. They treated my husband and I like royalty and were sure to go above and beyond for our elderly guests also. The bartender must have assumed we’d never make it to the bar – bc he found us to ask what we would like to drink and brought it tableside. We received an outpouring of compliments on the food. Everything was so delicious, I wish I had gotten to do more than nibble at it. But my husband – who originally assumed we’d have BBQ – enjoyed the short ribs and mashed potatoes! Chicken breast with mushroom and tarragon cream sauce was also fantastic. Thank you to the whole crew at Jacquie’s, you all are phenomenal.

We chose Indy Fresh Pizza to cater our wedding, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made. Our guests could not stop raving about the food, and so many people asked where we found them because everything was absolutely delicious. What impressed me most was how smooth everything went on the big day. I didn’t hear a single question or issue from the catering team, which was all thanks to the detailed planning they did with us beforehand. Their preparation made the day feel effortless. We hired Indy Fresh for our wedding catering and could not have been happier! They let us do a mini tasting of the taco bar delivered to our house, which is the menu we went with. The food was delicious, fresh, and tasted way better than any other places we tried, and was also much more affordable. The food was hot, delicious, and on time. We planned on using Indy Fresh for our wedding and although circumstances meant we couldn’t use them, I still found Emily to be SO helpful and amazing to work with throughout the whole planning process. Emily went out of her way to try to work things out with our venue (our venue is really strict on food and bar service) and was so gracious even after it didn’t end up working out. I would recommend Indy Fresh to anyone who’s looking for an attentive, professional, and friendly caterer!

We are so happy we had our wedding at the Montage with Kahn’s Catering. The venue was beautiful. It rained on our wedding day, so it was great to have a place inside for the ceremony as a backup plan. Kahn’s executed the logistics of the day seamlessly–we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our experience with Kahn’s was outstanding. Like many 2020 couples, events forced us to adapt and evolve, but Heidi and Steven—each of whom handled our account—did a fantastic job navigating us through the process. They met any question with a prompt response and were readily available to meet with us in-person or over the phone to double-check details, walk us through cost estimates, and outline how their staff would operate the day off.

As for our reception, we can’t commend them enough. Steven and his team went above and beyond to make sure our reception was everything we dreamed of. They were especially attentive to us (the bride and groom) and made sure we got to enjoy our hors d’oeuvres, dinner, cake and specialty cocktails. They also made a special point to acknowledge and be aware of any guests with food allergies. Our guests raved about the food and praised the service provided by waiters and bartenders. Knowing they were pleased eased our anxiety tremendously. We wanted our reception to feel like a family reunion, and Kahn’s helped us achieve that goal. Well worth the price if you want amazing food, great hospitality and a stress-free event.

We don’t have enough good things to say about Kahn’s Catering. We have enjoyed each time they have worked in our space, and the guests have too! Each meal tastes just as amazing as it looks. If you are looking for a catering company for any need, we recommend Kahn’s!

Chef Tweet did it again! It’s been 2 weeks and our guests are still raving over the delicious food. From the perfectly seared lamb chops, crunchy catfish to the perfectly seasoned shrimp lettuce wraps.. everything was perfect! I added the full service buffet and I was so glad that I did. The professionalism of Chef Tweet and her team of servers was top tier.

Sincere Catering provided hamburgers, hot dogs and sides for our neighborhood carnival. The 7 layer salad and mac and cheese are especially good! We served 250 people and no one went home hungry!

I work for a private jet company and needed a wide variety of catering with multiple dietary restrictions and allergies and she easily accommodated them all.
