We got the chance to see the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, on tour from London, with the remarkable Ray Chen. We’ve been to many shows here and have never been disappointed. The venue and staff are top-notch. Do yourself a favor and check out their calendar as there is usually something for everyone.

So thankful this fantastic place is in our hometown. To not take advantage of it would be unfortunate. There is not a bad seat in the house. A show in a more intimate setting is so much better than in a big stadium areana.

Went here to the Christkindlmart was great a little crowed. Then we went the next day to the Christkindlmart in Berne IN it was also great. Didn’t have the long lines and was able to park 60ft from the entrance to it! This is a have to see in Berne IN its going on every Friday-Sat-Sun until Dec 21th.

Hall is lovely, ushers are very helpful. But don’t take the military discount for a ticket as you do not receive e-tickets and must go to ‘will call’ to prove your status and enter the event. Who claims falsely for ten dollars?

First time touching down in Indianapolis for Rewind 2000 at Live Nation’s Old National Centre… and what a run. The Deluxe Room is a serious vibe — well organized, smooth load-in, and a very professional staff from start to finish. You can tell this venue has history and knows how to handle a sold-out crowd the right way. Another packed-out night. The energy in this room was unreal — wall to wall, hands up, every lyric, full throwback mode. Big thanks to Rewind and the Old National Centre Deluxe Room staff for making it another memorable one. I was low-key looking for Caitlin Clark in the crowd… but it was so packed, you couldn’t see two feet in front of you. Indianapolis showed up heavy. Respect. #Rewind2000 #Indianapolis #OldNationalCentre #SoldOut #LiveNation #ThrowbackEnergy #MidwestVibes

Its such a cool place to see a live show. Easy parking, history and entertainment it has it all. We did sit in the orchestra level L side near the back. Views were not bad. We had a taller couple in front of us that made see a bit of a challenge, but had they stopped making out and watched the show it would have been better. They moved at intermission to get MORE DRINKS, they honestly had enough lol and everyone around us was complaining about them and to us. We did leave early because of the distraction. 3rd show here 2x Straight No Chaser and once a comedian Mark Lowry. #sncmusic

Beautiful theatre! The staff were very annoying. Stood over our shoulders the whole time telling people to leave their phones off. Felt like prison. Some people have responsibility & need their phones. We care for 2 people with dementia & must monitor them. Then the staff were standing in the isle & having full conversations interrupting the musical. Adding to that in the middle of the show they started changing trash bags «LOUDLY» it took forever, trying to open the bag seemed deliberately long. Everyone was very unhappy. You could not get a normal drink at upstairs bar only alcohol and CBD infused drinks. However they did have liquid death! Our seats were Royal R row H and the angle was not horrible. We were able to enjoy the sow from that seat! @hamilton was amazing?

What an amazing venue. Such an iconic building that we watched Hamilton the play in. Everyone enjoyed the show and the people around us were very friendly. Great staff to help with directions for us first timers. They also had awesome looking pretzels with cheese 😉 Can’t go wrong attending an event here!!

Gorgeous vintage theater with great acoustics and clear sight lines to the stage from any seat. I’ve experienced concerts and Broadway musicals with equal enjoyment. The seats are old-fashioned, so they are not built for the comfort of bigger, taller people like me. It is definitely one of the best destinations in Indianapolis. One of my favorite places to take in a show.

This is a really nice venue and the seats are very comfortable for my large hip friends! Parking is about half a block away but not hard to find or to walk from. We had seats under a balcony but the sound was perfect.

1-Star VIP Review – Xavi at Old National Centre (Indianapolis). If I could leave a 0 I would. The «VIP Meet & Greet» experience for Xavi at the Old National Centre was an absolute disaster from beginning to end. We were originally told to arrive by 4:30 PM, and at 4:31 PM we suddenly received a text saying it had been moved to 5:30 PM. No explanation. At 5:30 PM, we waited outside in the cold while staff kept telling us, «Just a few more minutes.» We didn’t get inside until 6:00 PM, and then—unbelievably—the bar was not allowed to serve us. By 7:10 PM, they shoved the entire VIP group into the basement, with no food, no drinks, no notice, no chairs, and absolutely no sign of Xavi. At 8:02 PM, we asked a staff member for updates and were told they didn’t even know we were down there. This was a complete waste of money, energy, and time. Nothing about this experience was VIP. I don’t know if the issue was the venue, the artist’s team, or the logistics, but the entire operation was unacceptable. If you’re going to host a Mexican artist, you better know how to handle logistics and communication, and the artist’s team must coordinate with the venue properly. This was the worst show experience I’ve ever had. Shame on everyone involved in organizing this event.

I had never been to this venue before, but the staff working that night were incredibly friendly and helpful. We initially ended up in the wrong line because we had VIP tickets and the instructions weren’t very clear, but they quickly got everything sorted out for us. Once inside, we had a great time.

We went to the Blue Man Group show last night, and the experience at the Old National Centre was excellent. The venue is beautiful. The show was incredibly fun, original, and full of energy. It’s definitely a perfect venue for live performances. Highly recommended!

Extremely Disappointing «VIP» Experience – Xavi at Old National Centre I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was so poorly handled that it deserves to be documented. The VIP Meet & Greet was scheduled for 4:30 PM, and at 4:31 PM we suddenly received a message saying it had been pushed back an hour. No explanation, no apology. When we showed up for the new time, we were left waiting outside in the cold until almost 6:00 PM. Once inside, staff informed us that the bar was not allowed to serve us, which made the wait even more frustrating. Then things got worse. Around 7:10 PM, the VIP group was taken down to the basement with zero communication. No drinks, no seating, no snacks, nothing—just a crowded room full of confused people standing around. There was absolutely no sign of Xavi, and no updates from anyone. At 8:02 PM, someone finally asked a staff member what was going on, and they told us they had no idea we were even down there. That says it all. Whether the blame falls on the venue, the promoter, or the artist’s team, this event was handled extremely unprofessionally. There was nothing «VIP» about this experience. It felt like a complete waste of time and money, and honestly, a huge disappointment for fans who showed up excited and supportive. I hope they learn from this, because this was unacceptable.

Clean, easy to enter/exit, seats could be more spacey but overall an enjoyable experience. Love coming here for comedy shows and events in the city. Will return of course!

I went to see Hamilton at this theater. The cast of Hamilton was amazing. They did wonderful. They get 5 stars. I’ve been in other old theaters. The unique architecture and design bring out the nostalgia of days past in a charming manner. The old charm will not save this theater. I spent the entire show with about a 30 percent view of the stage at any one time. The rest was obstructed by the heads of other people in my line of sight. I’m not a short person. The floor of this theater is not good for a quality viewing of any full stage production. I’m not sure why a show like Hamilton would use this venue. It isn’t a good experience. It is so frustrating to pay a large sum of money per ticket to then have to stare at the back of heads hoping the performance scoots over so you can actually see. They either need to fix the problem or quit charging good seat prices for horrible seating. I’ll not be back.

This is a lovely venue. It was our first time attending a performance here and we saw Sleeping Beauty performed by the Indianapolis Ballet accompanied by Indianapolis Symphony Ochestra. Our seats were middle right row BB. The acoustics were perfection. Alcohol, soft drinks, and snacks like popcorn and candy were available at 2 different concession areas. A single pour of wine was 9.99 and it came in a plastic, lidded cup with logo. Seating… all I can say is dont be late. There are no central aisles and the rows are very long. Entering in the dark or during the performance is challenging and embarrassing. Parking, there’s a pay to park located adjacent but again, don’t be late as traffic backs up and you will have to wait to park. There seems to be street parking several blocks away. We parked at the sports arena for free and walked it was a Saturday afternoon and had no issues. No sporting events were going on so that would affect the option of parking there. And lastly, the seats are narrow for those blessed with generous curves.

Nice venue, really excited because we grew up on these R&B /Funk bands. The concession areas had very long, slow moving lines and only had mixed drinks and popcorn and a few boxes of candy like you get at a movie theater or the 99 cent bin at Walmart! Restrooms were accessible and close to the seating. Near Butler University and parking was right next door. Really enjoyed myself and attendees were very friendly. We had to just stand in the lobby since the doors didn’t open until 30 minutes before the show started at 7:30. Dougie Fresh was the MC/host and ge didn’t disappoint. Dougie Fresh is good at engaging with the crowd. Midnight Star sounded fabulous their lead sinfers were great, and Lakeside was phenomenal, I loved the pirate fashions and their lead singer was a very good vocalist. Confunkshun sounded amazing and had a guitar player that looked like he could have been El DeBarge’s little brother! Lol. He was full of energy and smiled the whole time! Their saxophone, trumpet and Trombone player were top notch and sounded phenomenal. I love drummers, and the drummers of each band were awesome! One Way was late coming to the stage but did really well. I wish they could have done more of their old hits. Al Hudson danced like he was 21 yrs old but told the crowd he was 75! Unbelievable!

Loved the show we saw. Which was Bkue October. We sat in the balcony row A but we’re surprised that it was a second balcony we didn’t realize we were going to be behind another balcony which did hinder the view a little but we did enjoy the show. We try to not miss Blue October whenever they are close enough for us to go to their concerts I will look for other events at this venue to see what we might find!

My second concert in this place and I love it. Plenty of parking, easy access to the Hall, crew members excellent service. The Hall has a nice view even if you are not iin the front area. The bar has a different type of drinks thisbis a good place for anybtypr of events.

Nice smaller venue. Long lines to get in but the staff kept it moving and it only took 10 minutes. Same with lines for the beverages. Butler University should be extremely proud of this venue and it’s staff.

Recently saw Shen Yun here. My first time visiting this venue. Although I enjoyed the show, I was very disappointed with the theater. Anyone who says this is a great theater has either never been to one or is a Butler loyalist. I read in advance about the parking fiasco and got there early and found street parking. We had third row seats on the main floor. Seats are very tight and there is no center aisle. So if you are in the center be prepared to crawl over 20 people to get out. Bathrooms inadequate for the number of people there. At intermission the line to get into the women’s bathroom stretched all the way to entrance. Paid $12 for a bottle of water and small box of candy. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by the beauty and elegance of most older theaters I usually attend but my biggest disappointment here was the whole industrial look of the place. If you like concrete, this is the place for you. It was a turn off for me.

My family has been attending the Yuletide Celebration at the Hilbert Circle Theater for nearly 30 years. The performance is one of the highlights of our holiday season and has turned in to a family tradition. The show highlights our extraordinary Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and many many singers and actors from around the globe! From the moment you drive up to the front door, you may be greeted with a live reindeer or two that the kids can pet. Step inside to a beautifully lit lobby with living characters like the Christmas mouse and a jolly Christmas tree and gingerbread man. Before the show there’s an opportunity to see a bell choir and grab a few drinks at one of the 3 bars. Cookies and milk also for sale. There’s a delicious coffee bar as well. You’ll want to try a delicious truffle and certainly buy some Yuletide merch! Across the street there are more photo ops with the largest Christmas tree on the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. It’s a great night out!

Hilbert is an absolute gem in downtown Indianapolis. The annual Yuletide symphony show is a must see holiday tradition but performances throughout the year are fantastic. Sound is best in the front lower section or in the balcony. Sound gets muddled in the rear lower section under the balcony.

The Madam Walker Legacy Center is a beautiful, culturally enriching location. We had the opportunity to visit there for our second Legacy Fest. The Saturday Block Party was an abundance of family fun, vendors, smiles and entertainment. The Sunday Book Chat was extra special because we had the opportunity to meet A’Lelia Bundles. She shared personal memories which highlighted the importance of your family legacy. The beauty inside the Madam Walker Legacy Center is in the details that were preserved while making space for the remodeling process. The book signing was a special occasion because family members and friends showed up to support A’Lelia Bundles. Meeting people while standing in line was like a family reunion as people shared pictures and fond memories of growing up in Indianapolis. The building is a beautiful, necessary part of Indiana history and world history.
