I haven’t been to this particular location for 10 years. I returned today to use the computer to type up a contract and I was heartbroken to see trash covering the parking lot, and what seems to be drug addicts nodding out under trees and on benches outside. As I walked inside I was overcome with a smell of attic and armpit, and when enetering the computer area, all were being occupied, people were coughing all over the screens. I waited in the main area just to be disturbed by loud folks using obscene language. I just decided it was best to leave. I miss when the library felt like a real safe space…

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Being able to fax and print from here are just two of the low cost services available to the community. This library is a huge asset to our neighborhood.

I love Indy Libraries, and this is my home branch! I've interacted with a number of staff here, and it's been nothing but positive for me.

I mean… it’s a library, it does its job & serves its purpose. It’s just a bit more on the louder side than that of which I’m used to when being in a library. It was quite hard for me to concentrate this evening while in there. Some of the people didn’t seem to have much respect & consideration for the people around them as they spoke loudly. Both customers & employees. Maybe next time I visit it’ll be different though, & people will be more inclined to use their inside voice. Actually… maybe even whisper, it is a library after all.

To add some thoughts to my earlier 5-star review, I'm glad to live near this branch. The children's area is very nice. The staff are great, and I've had some requests I wasn't sure could be fulfilled, but the staff took the time to listen and make a way.
