I’ve been on the hunt for the right large-scale artwork to finish off my dining room area. It’s an open space, and I already had a big abstract nature piece on one wall, so I needed something for the adjacent wall that was simple but still tied in with the greens I’ve used in the room. I didn’t want anything too modern or abstract, more natural and calming.

HER HOME DESIGN Boutique had exactly what I was looking for a beautiful two-piece set of simple leaf paintings that complements my existing artwork perfectly. They’re understated, organic, and have just the right pop of green. Honestly, I’m so glad I found them.

I really appreciate small boutiques like this because they carry pieces that feel unique and personal. I doubt I’ll see this artwork in anyone else’s home, and that makes it feel even more special. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more finds from HER HOME DESIGN to add to my space.

HER Design Build did a phenomenal job staging our home for sale! I contacted them on July 1 for a July 21 home stage. Meg toured my home and emailed a proposal – I dropped off the payment and they handled the rest! They delivered the furniture and decor on time and the home looked fantastic- fresh, neutral, and appealing to the target buyers! We listed on July 24 and received an offer on July 27! It was a best-case scenario for our family’s peace of mind and finances. I contacted them on August 13 to destage on August 20. The whole process was very smooth and low-stress. I highly recommend a full-home stage with HER Design Build!

When I inquired about staging within two days, they let me know upfront that I’d need to wait until the following week. I appreciated their transparency, and the short wait was absolutely worth it!

We used Whittney to redo our 1936 built home and from the beginning we were amazed. We were doing a 5+ month remodel on our forever home so we wanted to get it right the first time and didn’t want any regrets so that’s why we chose to work with a designer. We knew she specialized in older homes so it was a no brained to use her. She normally would present 2-3 options for each light fixture, tile, cabinet hardware, etc… and while we usually went with one of those options, a few of the choices were outside our budget and we voiced that to her and she quickly gave us more options that were great. She was very accessible and we never felt like our project was too small for her. She was very worth the investment and we will use her when we redo our master bathroom and basement. We’ve referred her to several friends of ours because we’re now big believers of doing things the right way the first time and a quality designer will ensure that. Can’t say enough good things about Whittney!

Moving out of state to Indiana and buying our first house. I’ve been following HL and love the work they do. Therefore, I wanted to see if the team would work with us once our new build was completed. I shared our home layout and budget of 50k. The team got back to me and simply said this wasn’t enough money. I’m a little disappointed that the team didn’t even explain or try to work with us. I guess I thought they would try and work with clients who are also passionate about making their house feel like a beautiful home no matter the size/budget. Also, 50k is not a small amount for someone who just needs help styling their new build and no demo needed. Luckily, I was able to find a designer who would work with us and we even increased our budget after talking about what we wanted. Maybe they were blunt because they didn’t want to waste my time. Maybe in the future I’ll have enough money and a bigger home to work with this company.
