Hannia, our instructor, was absolutely fantastic, she created such a fun and welcoming environment that made everyone feel comfortable and excited to paint. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow, which helped us all create beautiful art pieces we were proud to take home. Highly recommend for any group event or just a fun night out!

I booked a 2 hour session to spend a winter weekend with my friends. Painting with a twist is in a very popular location at Carmel. You will find options to eat right before or after and also shop so it’s a good plan to spend a few hours there.
Neeha our instructor was great and we enjoyed trying our hand at making a bunch of flowers in a vase. They also have a small bar where you can get some drinks, soda and water.
A birthday party was happening simultaneously in a room within which was pretty cool. I love places that offer something for everyone. Do check it out!

I purchased a kit that was 4 for the cost of 5. When ordering each painting was a different picture. It was initially to go to the studio, my granddaughter had to attend a science fair at late notice, so I called and the let me have time to make another appointment for the studio. Since I was having a hard time making schedules meet I changed over to paint at home. I had to buy easels to do this. When my son went to pickup the order, they had everything set up for 1 painting so he went back and picked up the correct order. I was supposed to be sent video links for the 5 painting paintings but only received one link. Since then I have been trying to get the videos so I could do the paintings. I was informed that I should have purchased each portrait separately to allow me to do this. I was told they would have to contact corporate to get permission. I have since been waiting quite sometime and with multiple emails and still I had not been given the links. The last email was a request for a refund since the portraits cannot be done without the videos, I have not heard back.

We had a sister visiting from the west coast and decided to try this place out. We were pleasantly surprised that our paintings turned out really well. The instructor was patient and fun and we had a great time! Will definitely book again.

Me and my daughter did the at home package and then went in and did the class version last night. It was a great experience to share with her as we both love art and it’s our thing we do together. Would definitely recommend.

Wow, this place is great! We loved our instructor, Taylor. She was great at guiding us to our best work. She was also very supportive when we needed it. 😉 Two out of three of us are way better at spreadsheets than art but that didn’t matter. It was really fun and worked parts of our brain that we didn’t know we had!

Wife and I have attended several classes, two taught by Taylor, and a few by others. All the artists are knowledgeable, engaging, and encouraging. Even if you, like me, are artistically challenged, this is an awesome time. Great Date Night!

My daughter just finished a week long camp with Tammy and she can’t stop talking about how much fun it was! Each day had a different variety of projects and she loved the tips and tricks she learned. Highly recommend!!

Tammy is the queen of crafts!! I have done many classes with her and have been extremely satisfied every time! She is amazing, and her empanadas are even better!

Live Love Paint came out for my daughter’s 9th birthday party and it was fantastic!!! Tammy takes care of everything end to end! She was super easy to communicate with, answered all of my questions timely, and accommodated all my requests without issue!! My daughter and her friends loved the splatter paint party and the cookie painting! It made her birthday extra special and I highly recommend Live Love Paint to anyone!

My friends and I really enjoyed learning to paint with Tammy. She’s very patient, kind and great at teaching beginners. I highly recommend painting or doing any of her craft projects!

The kids absolutely loved being able to get face painted and Tammy did such a great job!! I would recommend her to anyone that wants to hire someone for face painting! She did a great job and was able to do quite a few kids in the hour we hired her!!

We have attended both the kids night out events and a summer camp with kids ranging from 5-12. Each time, I am so surprised how much they get done while they are there! It’s never just one project. They always come home with the main art piece they worked so hard on plus a little side art piece (or few). My kids have had an amazing time at all of the events they have gone to! They always ask when they can do another one! Thank you for all of your patience and fun ideas working with my kiddos Miss Tammy!!! You are wonderful!

There’s plenty of walk ways to get the blood flowing here. Or you can venture off the beaten path and walk the hills and fresh cut grass as well. Plenty of room and large if not massive trees to sit under when shade is needed. Fox squirrels are abundant and friendly, unless my beagle goes to howling at them! Very family oriented and quiet. A stage for music, arts and crafts along with friendly faces. Weekends are usually busy in the park.

It’s a nice place but make sure you got all your paperwork and ducks in a row when we went and did the event and I guess this is either somebody’s carelessness or somebody just trying to get extra money they double-booked an event in the same Park area that we were in and we were nice enough to let the other party come in but we were in the right of being there for a longer period of time

We did a Pour Paint session with Barb and loved it! Easy and fun. The facility itself is move and enough room and galleries to look around as well.

Garfield Park is a great park. Been coming here a long time. There is a pool, a pagoda, a play park ect. Port a potties too.

Nice park. Looked clean. There was an event there where you could buy things people were selling & handmade stuff too. A local vendor, Diahann’s Designs, has very nice handmade jewelry. Facebook & Instagram. Food vendors also. Jump house and big slide for the kids. Entertainment of Christain rap & poetry.

Self Guided. Lots of history in and around GPAC

Had a wonderful time. All the artists were able to use their own color schemes. Instructor was attentive but not pushy. Will definitely do it again.

We had the best time today. Our instructor, Joy, was amazing! We will be booking more events instructed by her.

Good experience. Would like to do this again would recommend to come along with your partner or friends. It’s fun especially with drinks! Note: Ticket cost would not cover your drink.

My SO & I went this W&C location on the stop 12th road.

I, myself, enjoyed the class & my painting turned out decent.

The instructor we had was clear about his directions BUT he moved along WAY. TOO. FAST.

The only reason I was able to keep up is because I have experience in art. My bf & the rest of the class struggled to keep up.
I found myself at times having to finish up what I was doing while half listening to the next step.

It was irritating at times but I still enjoyed myself.

What also caught me off guard was how the instructor & the other two employees were dressed. They literally had on street clothes.

I almost thought we were in the wrong location.

I noticed was at the end the painting session when the last step was completed the instructor LITERALLY LEFT THE ROOM IMMEDIATELY AFTER.

The other two “employees” started packing up the supplies.

The wrap this up & to put the cherry on top I checked the time and it said 450pm….the class was suppose to go from 3-6pm…

No wonder we felt rushed because the instructor was literally rushing through the steps.

*sigh* I would have enjoyed the class more if the instructor did not speed through the class & took his time.

Not sure if the instructors change or theyre the same for all classes but I will not be coming back to this location for the time being.

Like myself. A lot of fun.

We were always drawn to Anna’s studio when visiting the Stutz building. After our vacation in Savannah, we spoke to Anna about creating a painting from a photo we had. She came to our home (her request) to get a feel
for our vibe. No pressure, just understanding of who we were & what we might like. Next thing we know, she takes her lovely family on a trip to Savannah….fell in love with the town just as we did…and brought her vision back home to create a beautiful painting that means so much to us. Anna is a talented, inquisitive & genuinely lovely person.

What a wonderful experience to work with Anna! I commissioned a piece for my husband for our anniversary. I had never done this before and didn’t know what to expect. Anna was so easy to work with and very communicative. She listened to what I wanted to say with the piece, and we couldn’t have been happier with the result. My husband says it’s the coolest present he ever got.

I cannot say enough about Anna. Her art speaks to me like no other artist. She is insanely talented and works tirelessly to make sure your piece is exactly what you want. I gave the painting of us in Lisbon to my husband for Christmas. Not only did he love it, I find him sitting in our front room just looking at it. I recently bought the painting of Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. This is the our family’s favorite view of the city. Anna painted it exactly as we see it. She is not only the most talented artist, she is one of the kindest, most interesting and just downright nicest people you will ever meet. I cannot say enough about her and her amazing work! I feel blessed to have found her and have her work in my home.

Theme: There is never only one way to paint anything! Before the workshop I challenged Anna that it be life-changing and my she delivered. Very spontaneous yet direct approach. Now on I’ll personally start from varying ways adding more color, not overpaint, use best supplies possible and continue as why’s to my artist decisions among other changes written in my notes.

I ordered this painting from Anna at Penrod Arts Fair because they didn’t have the size I wanted in stock. I told her it was for my dads birthday, so she shipped it promptly so that he would receive it in time! She was great with communication and I’m so happy with the result!

I’ve been taking Anna’s biweekly Zoom classes for 6 months. The classes are 3 hour live, interactive watercolor workshops that include demonstrations, time to work on your own painting and critiques and feedback on your work. Anna incorporates her own style and point of view with facts and insight from historic artists in her classes. And she always has interesting stories to tell so it’s never boring. My painting has improved so much since starting her classes. I highly recommend taking her classes if you have an interest in learning loose expressive watercolors. Oh also Anna’s own paintings are amazing. I purchased two small still lifes and they shipped very fast and were beautiful.

Simply put; Anna Afshar is a Living Master Watercolorist. I give her that title informally, yet it’s well earned as I feel she is one of, if not the very best, watercolorist in the state of Indiana and perhaps in all of North America.

Anna has changed my art and the way I view the abstractive quality of my artistic brush stroke. I’ve been blessed to train with only three other Living Master’s in my life; Disney and Marvel artist Jeffery Watts, Indiana Artisan Terry Armstrong and Mya Angelo’s favorite artist, African American Muralist, Dr. John Thomas Biggers, all of whom had profound impacts on my creative development.

Anna, however, has taken me under her wing in the most compassionate and continual way that endears me to her in ways I can’t begin to enumerate. She has become one of the most impactful artists I’ve ever worked with, and I hold her with the same artistic merit as all other Masters I’ve worked with over the last three decades.

In this respect, while all of them were very different personalities, all of them had two distinct things in common with one another. First, they all have an absolute command of their medium in all respects. Second, they love the world around them and everyone in it, in a way that can only be described as a peaceful and holistic love, agape.

You see, Anna isn’t just an artist. She’s a beautiful woman on the inside and out. She celebrates her matriarchal relationship with her children in incredibly supportive ways, traveling all over Europe to support her son’s professional dance and theatrical performances to her daughters’ promising fashion designer career. These apples don’t fall from their mothers’ tree for culture, architecture, and all the fine arts.

This artful way of living encompasses Anna’s compositions both on canvas and paper. It transforms her narrative and abstractive style of watercolor. Her motherly and nurturing nature is a true gift she shares with those who have the honor and privilege to gain her artistic instruction. She has forever shaped my paintbrush and also my heart. I have never apprenticed under someone who has such unconditional love and support in helping you establish your craft and celebrating your success as much as her own. It’s my honor to call her my friend and my distinct privlidge to continue to learn so much from her, not only in art, but in how to be a loving, caring, and supportive friend.
