iibada Dance Company

I absolutely love iibada and how wonderful the company is! We have become a family and I love this for my daughter! She started in May of 2021 at 4 and is now in the academy classes forging her own path! Over 30 years of creating a space where dancers excel and grow tremendously!! Under the founder Mama Sabra, the leadership of Mama T and Mama Christa has been a great one! Even with changes, performances and opportunities have been wonderful! I love being apart of the iibada family and will continue many more years!!

My little one loves to dance so when we got introduced to IDC last year we were so excited to find the program. Confidence, great friendships and amazing dance moves is what we received. We are now in our second year and we look forward to seeing everyone and learning something new. Thank you to the whole IDC team for shaping these young ones to their best ability and showing them anything is possible!

iibada has given my daughter a safe space to not only be trained professionally in the art of dance but to forge beautiful friendships and blossom into an amazing young lady. The staff does an exceptional job of creating opportunities for the dancers to grow and develop. We are glad to call iibada family!

Iibada is an excellent dance studio. The administrators and the instructors are professional, accomplished, and they genuinely care about the families that are enrolled. Their growth over the past few years has been nothing short of amazing and that's because iibada has gotten more exposure so more people can see how wonderful they are. However, they are so much more than just a dance studio . They are a family that builds up every area of their dancers lives. The self-confidence they instill, the leadership they encourage, the cultural pride they demonstrate and the qualities of just being a good person, have all added so much to my daughter's life. More than we could have gotten out of any other activities that I can think of. They are not only preparing our youth to be great dancers, but to just be great in the world!

My dancer and I love Iibada. We are so happy we found a dance community that feels like family. It's great to see my dancer excited to go to class and ready to go back when there's a break. I know that she feels cared for and enjoys the instruction. I have watched my child blossom as a dancer and person since being at Iibada. It's apparent how much the instructors and leadership care for each dancer. Again, I am very thankful. Highly recommend!

My daughter has been part of Iibada Dance Company for the past four years, and it has truly become like a second family for her. She has grown so much, not only as a dancer but also in confidence and friendships. The instructors are incredibly skillful, patient, and passionate about what they do, and the leadership team sets such a positive and supportive tone for everyone. Beyond the dance training, they nurture teamwork, discipline, and self-expression, and they make every dancer feel valued. We are so grateful for the welcoming community and the lasting friendships she has built here. Iibada is not just a dance company, it’s a place where young people can thrive and feel at home.

My daughter is 4 and loved her first day of dance class! She wanted to join after watching my niece’s spring recital.. my daughter danced watching the entire show so I enrolled her the first chance I had! The first day I noticed the teachers were nice and easily working with the tiny tots… they had structured dancing and fun dancing… all in one session!!! There was circle time for the kids to share their names and getting to know their classmates… I super enjoyed the lesson just watching my daughter being in tune and following directions… I trust that her dance season will be fulfilled with great memories in the making for her!!!
